Scarborough Bay - Sea View Camping, a clifftop retreat on the North Yorkshire coast. Pitch up where you wish on this spacious 5 acre site. All the pitches face the coast so you can have spectacular views over the sea, in this case the North Sea to Scarborough (15 minutes’ drive), giving you a front-row seat on one of England’s most spectacular coastlines. Here you can wake to vibrant sunrises and on clear evenings to watch sunsets in the west. There’s plenty more going for this peaceful site as well: walkers will perk up on hearing that it’s right on the Cleveland Way National Trail, surfers can catch waves at popular Cayton Bay (five minutes’ drive), and families can head for Go Ape or scenic biking trails in Dalby Forest (40 minutes). There’s also a farm shop 15 minutes’ walk away where you can get a decent coffee and homemade food. There’s plenty of room so you’re free to pitch up where you wish. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and barbecues or firepits are allowed as long as they’re raised off the ground to protect the grass. The camping area is exposed and can get windy at times, so take care when erecting tents and ensure everything is well secured. Facilities are simple: chemical toilets and a water supply. The water supply is from the mains but we recommend bottled water for drinking to be safe. There are no showers on site. Solar showers can be bought on-line for about £10. The access road is alongside a grass field, so please ensure that your vehicle is suitable for the terrain. An excellent stay. A super spot above Clayton bay at a very good price. Mark was an excellent host, very helpful and great communication. We shall definitely stay again.

This site is all about the view! It was as described - incredibly basic with x2 portaloo, no drinking water and no refuse facilities. If you're happy with the basics then the view is worth it.

Be prepared for it to be very windy at times and feeling like Mary poppins when setting up with you being quite high up and at the side of the sea. The surrounding areas are very beautiful and very scenic coastal walks which is great for your 4 legged fury friends m. The site is very spacious so you are not camping on top of other fellow campers. Would be ideal to take a fly zapper/ spray as the flies can get a bit too much and very annoying.

Site is very exposed and right by an A road so doesn't have the the feeling of getting away from it all. Advertised as having bins available, however you'll need to take your rubbish away with you.

Brilliant location for visiting Cayton Bay, Scarborough and Filey - fab view out to the coastline. Basic simple toilet facilities but they were clean and well stocked. No showers but this was fine for one night. Friendly fellow camping neighbours and good vibes. Would definitely stay again for another one/two night trip
