Charlotte’s land was a brilliant spot perfectly located with a beautiful view. Had everything we needed for our one night stay and we had a great time thanks to it.

A truly beautiful place to stay – so charming and full of character. And then there’s Charlotte, the hostess: such a warm and welcoming person, with a genuine passion that shines through in her wonderful camper spot. The surrounding region is perfect for both walking and gravel riding. For food and drinks, head to the pub just around the corner (“The Pub with No Name” aka The White Horse). It’s incredibly authentic and serves excellent cuisine.

Lovely site for nearly wild camping, had the place all to ourselves, and the view was incredible. Charlotte was a lovely and helpful host, would definitely recommend.

Another superb stay. Charlotte's field is lovely with gorgeous views. There are some great walks nearby plus some good pubs on the way. Charlotte is super helpful and friendly,highly recommend this site.

I had a perfect relaxing night with the dog in the field. Very quiet and peaceful with excellent views and walks in the beautiful countryside. Beautiful sunrise. Would happily return. There was water, camping toilet, free parking, no fires.

One of the best places we have ever camped in the UK, unexpectedly spectacular location with beautiful walks, and wonderful to have the whole field to ourselves for kid and dog to run free in.

I love charlotte’s beautiful spot. Secluded, remote and thoughtfully looked after. The views from down the hill will never get old and the variety of wild flowers and plants are really nice. Nice pubs nearby and a supermarket is just a few minutes drive once you get off the track to the site. Thanks for hosting us Charlotte xx

We had a lovely couple of days! Charlotte was there to welcome me (partner and dog arrived separately) and got the tour of the site. She is so lovely and welcoming and made me feel right at ease.
Great spot, the views are amazing and we were lucky to have sunny weather. The amenities are pretty basic, the loo is a camping toilet but there is plenty of lovely cold drinking water and firewood provided which is a big plus!
We had a great time and our dog loved it as she could roam about without us worried she'll run off as the site is mostly fenced off.
Throughly recommend if you have a dog or just if you like seclusion with nice views!
One thing no note is the entrance is via a really bumpy track. Low cars are a no-go.

Lovely exclusive pitch with great views. The track leading to the site is quite bumpy and not suited to low cars but it is doable. Would recommend.

My wife and my dog and I had the most amazing time at Charlotte's camp. The views were amazing and so was our host who greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the land. The firepit's and logs provided was an added bonus and we will definitely be returning very soon. All in all a 10/10 couldn't ask for much more. Thank You Charlotte

I don’t know the words to recommend this site more!
Charlotte is a superb host, she met us on site when we arrived and gave us a tour of the whole site. She was fantastic with the children and made sure they found the swing which they spent a lot of the week on.
We stayed for 7 nights in this slice of heaven and were never disturbed. Charlotte messaged to check we were okay half way through the week.
Absolutely beautiful scenery from our front window looking out across the valley. The walks through the Ashford hangers really get your legs working.
So many great pubs to choose from as well, but you must check out the Cricketers on a Wednesday night with their stone oven pizzas!
All the items you need for a fantastic back to nature stay here and we will be coming back for sure!

Had an absolutely lovely long weekend at old litten site. Charlotte met us when we arrived and showed us around. Brilliant site, everything we needed for a nice break getting back to nature. There are lovely walks around the site and then longer walks around the downs.
Beautiful sunsets in the evenings sat around the fire pit.
This Is well worth the visit, we have already rebooked our next visit.

Charlotte has a fantastic area in which you camp with exceptional views.
Facilities were as described and Charlotte and John were very helpful with local recommendations and supply of equipment.
Great to have the place to yourself,we loved it so much we immediately rebooked.

Really unique and wonderful campsite! Charlotte was a great host. We had everything we needed, extra chairs, tables, fire pits, wood. It was really great to have the entire place to ourselves, very private and quiet site and absolutely beautiful. We absolutely would come again!

I had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The host was absolutely lovely—very welcoming and friendly, with just the right amount of conversation to make you feel at home. The plot itself is stunning, set against a backdrop of beautiful views that make it easy to relax and unwind. There are some great walking trails nearby, perfect for a peaceful stroll or a bit of light exploration. One thoughtful touch was the firewood, which was ready and waiting—such a nice convenience. Overall, a fantastic place to camp, and I’d definitely come back again.

The description of the campsite was spot on! It was quiet, remote (but close to a pub) with great views. Charlotte was very welcoming, friendly and had a wealth of information about the local area.

Fantastic spot. Great scenery, lovely walking tracks and all felt very private.
Charlotte was very lovely and helpful when we arrived to show us around the site and all the useful bits in the shed.

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite in Petersfield, despite arriving much later than planned due to an accident on the way. John was incredibly helpful and patient, welcoming us with a smile even though it was late, raining, and very muddy! The location is great, with lovely views, and Charlotte and John have thoughtfully provided everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Even in wet weather, it was a great spot—peaceful and well set up. We’re looking forward to coming back when the sun is shining!

Lovely wild camping spot, nice view and completely remote. Charlotte is an absolute Diamond and couldn’t be more helpful, we had a great stay and will definitely stay again. A couple of pubs are not too far away and do nice food and beer for those not completely roughing it.
