We had a lovely break in a part-furnished Bell Tent. Verity was on hand with good coffee and to answer any queries in the morning. The site facilities were excellent and was well-placed for visiting the coast and Dorchester.

My goodness! We loved staying at Dewflock farm so much. Verity was a lovely host and had helpful travel tips and really wonderful stories. We stayed in the partially naked bell tent which was a great first time glamping experience for the five year old we were traveling with. Remember to bring blankets and pillows! We also loved breakfast, real coffee, baby goats, ponies, sheep, donkeys, and… mini Land Rovers for the kiddo. Amazing!

We had the most fantastic time at Dewflock camping and were reluctant to go home! Verity and her family were so incredibly welcoming and had thought of all of the finer details to ensure we were fully equipped for our Glamping experience! I could not speak more highly of what they have to offer and will be recommending Dewflock to everyone! It’s such a special place and we’ve created many precious memories. Our children 4 & 6 had an absolute blast, they had so much fun and we’re occupied by the table tennis, table football, games, visiting the lambs, beating the maize maze and driving the mini landies! Perfect for young families. In the country and also near Dorchester town and Weymouth beach.

Such a lovely friendly campsite. Well laid out and everything was clean and well organised. Friendly owner, nice touch to have breakfast in the mornings, and mini landies for the kids to drive. Had all we needed, it was a great base for our holiday. Would recommend this site.

We had such a lovely week on this quirky, rustic farm. The hosts were extremely friendly and the special touch of bacon sandwiches every morning and home made pizza midweek, was just perfect. We had two shepherd's huts which were comfy and cosy. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have bedding and towels included. One hut has steps and the other is slightly 'on the wonk' so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. The grass is also quite long in the field so may not be suitable for wheelchairs. It was so lovely to wake up each morning listening to the cows and donkeys and my daughter loved being able to go and see and feed the lambs whenever she wanted. The mini landies were also great fun. The showers are very basic but do the job they're intended for. The farm is situated in a great position for visiting lots of different beaches and areas of interest. We would definitely recommend Dewflock Farm to anyone looking for a relaxed, scenic and friendly glamping experience and would happily return!

We had a wonderful time camping at Dewflock Farm. The set-up is amazing,
not too crowded and absolutely everything you could need is provided with lots of thoughtful touches. It was our first camping experience and even with two young kids, it was relaxing and largely stress-free! The area is beautiful and surrounded by loads of places to explore. Lastly the team is super welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Thank you again!

Had a fantastic week at Dewflock Farm in a furnished Bell tent which was perfect for our family of 4. Great site and location near loads of beaches, amazing hosts, toilets are clean, showers are hot and strong. Bacon butties each morning a great touch. Pizza night was great too and the Biltong is some of the best we’ve had! Nothing negative to say, we’ll be back for sure.

We stayed in the Copse which is separate to the main site located, a few minutes walk away, in its own woodland. It's a great location; you can sit, with a coffee, on the bench facing the east to watch the sunrise in the morning and switch to the other bench facing west in the evening to watch the sunset with something a little stronger. The shepherds hut is super comfortable and the shower and toilet facilities are first class. You can cook using the provided stoves or over the fire pit but another option I can recommend are the homemade pizzas in the barn by the farmhouse. You can even have a pint while you're waiting. We came back totally relaxed from our weekend break and look forward to going back soon.

Excellent location safe distancing in these times. We stayed in the hut at the Copse away from man or beast. We had 2 days and night of cooking for ourselves, collecting firewood for the fire, great fun. Bed really comfy, hut nice and snug, a storm on the last night, made it quite exciting for the hubby, not me. 🤣

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Dewflock Farm. Very comfortable stay at Rufus. Slept very well and we enjoyed having BBQ’s every night. The mini Land Rover’s were amazing and the bacon and egg rolls were also very good. The animals were very friendly and liked to be stroked. The showers were very warm and it was fun to run across the field to get to them. Host was very friendly and told us about the farm. I would Highly recommend and are coming back next year. Loved our stay here! My friend and I decided to do a mom/kids trip on our own and we were very nervous about camping with young kids. We had a 2.5, 6, and 7 year old. It turned out so great. We were able to sit back and relax after adventuring all day while the kids ran free and played. One of my favourite holidays I’ve had with my son. The mini land rovers, farm animals, and bacon rolls were amazing. Owners are so kind, even washed a sleeping bag for us after an accident. Great experience!

It was the first time as a family that we tried camping with our 6 year old daughter. The open space the security of the farm being enclosed from the passers by and the beautiful setting, was just perfect. We had a furnished Bell tent which was really comfy and made for a little adventure. We loved sitting out each evening having BBQ while all the kids ran around playing it was really idyllic. We loved the outside showers(enclosed) we had a lovely time as a family. If your looking for a simple idyllic holiday this is ideal and great spot to go off for days out to explore Dorset. The bacon rolls that where delivered each morning where a great touch too

This was booked at the last minute as an antidote to a suddenly cancelled holiday abroad and how lovely it was. The Copse sits atop the hills on the farm and has stunning views across the valleys, a great little hideaway. The path through the copse to the Shepherds Hut is lit by solar PIR lights and around the camping area fairy lights have been wrapped around the trees.
The toilet and shower facilities (exclusive to the Copse) are excellent and thought has gone into providing other seating and cosy areas. The Hut itself is lovely and cosy with its own fire. Lovely added touch of putting marshmallows and sticks for the fire pit in the hut on our arrival too.
A very relaxing few days and nights in a lovely countryside setting. Many thanks.

It was the first camping experience for our 5 yr old granddaughter and this was just right - lots of space to run for the children. The bell tents are very spacious for 2 adults and a child. Us oldies are experienced wild campers but - I must say - that a little bit of luxury is certainly appreciated once you get into the later years!!!! Showers with hot water (most of the time), flushing toilets and a field kitchen to do the washing up!!! The children had straw bales to climb on and play, Landies brought out on 2 mornings for the kids to have a go at driving and orphaned lambs to pet and feed. The field behind had cows and donkeys in so there was the odd farmyard noise in the mornings. The only downside is the train line that runs from Dorchester to Weymouth alongside the field but the trains were a long way up the hill and didnt run that often.
Solar fairy lights, a couple of straw bales to sit on by the fire pit to cook on at night - did the job.
Would recommend for anyone with younger children who want to experience camping for the first time. But we will also be back.

Wonderful weekend stay in July, lovely site with excellent facilities. All the good social distancing and hygiene you'd want is in place. Super friendly owners and farm animals too : ) For an excellent local pub we can recommend the Brewers Arms in Martinstown with great food and again well set-up.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and were introduced to our surroundings. The bell tent was spacious and lovely. The washing facilities were clean and cleaned regularly with oodles of hand sanitiser at key points. The kitchen is a godsend with freezer and kettle and even an oven! The animals on the farm are friendly and accessible, except the bulls which we admired from a safe distance! Our children aged 10 and 13 were allowed to feed the sheep, many of whom had been hand reared and were super friendly. The donkey family kept us all amused with their comedy routines and there were lots of farm dogs and cats. We love a beach and found many within a 45 minute drive. Chapman's Pool and Studland were lovely. You can be on the beach in Weymouth in 15 minutes. Loved the hill fort Maiden Castle just 10 minutes by car and the history of the Tolpuddle Martyrs just minutes away. Supermarket nearby and Dorchester is well equipped for most things. The only top tip for this site is earplugs! Not for the noise from fellow campers (all beautifully behaved), but some nights the noise from the local A Road disturbed us adults (but not the children!). Oh and the bacon rolls outside our tent were really appreciated.

We had a stunning 4 days at Dewflock Farm in August this year. We decided last minute to go for a glamping rather than camping experience our decision meant that we had a very relaxing few days in a beautiful location. Host that were attentive but not too fussy, a structured but relaxed camping field, a few but not too many other families to interact with, so all in all just right in so many ways.
Dewflock Farm offers offers a great introduction to family camping for those that have not experienced a night under canvas yet. You have thoughtful hosts, a safe but inspiring space for kids to explore, really well equipped communal areas, and loads of great beaches locally.

We visited the farm over the August Bank Holiday weekend. My husband and I stayed in Rufus and our daughter and her young family stayed in an unfurnished bell tent. We had a simply marvellous time. Our eldest grandson made a couple of friends and they had an absolutely great time charging around in a very safe and free environment. An especial favourite were the mini-landies that were made available every morning and evening. The children also really enjoyed spotting the passing trains! Verity was really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen was very well equipped and our hut was cosy and comfortable. A nice hi-light for us adults was sitting around the brazier each evening, logs blazing and stars twinkling above us. We would definitely recommend Dewflock Farm and hope to return next year.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Dewflock which is set in stunning Dorset countryside! Verity and Tom are fab hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The bell tents are beautiful and the games barn is such a great space for the kids to play! We'll definitely be returning!!

I stayed here with my son and some friends and we had such an amazing time. Verity was so helpful and would tell us all the best local places to go and we had such fun in the evenings with the easily assessed bar whilst the kids played in the open air ( got them away from tech too).

Stayed with my grandchildren. Space to run. Safety foremost in the campsite layout. Lambs to pet, bacon rolls for breakfast delivered to the tents by the farmers children and mini landrovers for the children to drive. No hidden costs.

Shepherd's hut Rufus is well-equipped, comfortable and atmospheric. We loved sitting outside with a fire during the evenings. Campsite is well-placed for Weymouth and Dorchester and surrounding beaches/countryside. Kitchen facilities good, showers and toilets were temperamental. Owners are friendly and helpful and farm/wildlife cute. Only problems were the constant background-hum from the A354 and a train whizzing past every 20 minutes or so - some are used to this, but don't stay here if you're easily woken!
