We absolutely loved our stay at Ella's. The tent was lovely and clean with enough room to move around in, loved the bedside tables for a little bit of storage. The compost loo was clean, and the shower rooms were perfect. It was great to have our own little cubicle where we could leave our towels and toiletries. Ella was very welcoming and friendly, and was quick to respond to any messages. The kitchen was fully equipped which saved us having to pack lots of bits and bobs! The play barn was a great space, and I also loved the fact we had our own cupboard to charge phones if needed. My boys absolutely adored the guinea pigs and there was enough room for my boys to run around and play. I would totally recommend a stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cheglinch Farm! An absolutely beautiful place that was clean and tidy throughout, very peaceful and quiet, and nothing was ever too much to ask, Ella and her family were always one text or call away. My children loved checking the chicken coop for eggs every morning and seeing the guinea pigs too. The play area is fabulous for young children and toddlers; there was so much space to explore and play. The tents are large, spacious, and clean as were the play barn and showers, all areas are very well maintained. Thank you for helping us to celebrate our daughter's birthday, we were sad to leave! P.S do make sure that you read the paperwork upon booking to ensure you don't use your sat nav as per Ella's instructions, you will find the site much more easily this way xx

We had a fabulous 4 night stay in ‘Beech.’ The tent itself was lovely and homely, really comfortable and everything had been thought of from fleecy blankets to hot water bottles. The overall farm experience was great for the children, they loved saying hello to all the animals and collecting eggs from our allocated chickens. The children all enjoyed being feral, playing in the den and the mud kitchen. A fabulous place and I would recommend for families with children looking to just escape for a while.

Wow! The most luxurious glamp site I have been to or can imagine. A truly beautiful setting, wonderful lotus Bell tents, very comfy beds, private composting toilet AND lovely hot private shower. Very well-equipped private undercover kitchen area and tap. Some wonderful touches as the site is part of a working farm, so lots of calves to look at, your own personal coop of chickens to provide you with fresh eggs every morning. We will be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Also thoroughly recommend The Crown in West Down (15-20 mins walk) - great welcome and food, and the fish & chip van that visits West Down every Monday evening

We stayed with our two kids (age 4.5 and 1.5).
The farm and its surroundings are beautiful and Ella has literally thought of everything.
The tent is huge and the beds are really comfy and warm.
The kids loved going to collect the fresh eggs from the chicken hutch every morning and saying hello to the guinea pigs too.
From a practical pov, the kitchen was ace and had all the cooking the equipment you needed and there's also a play barn if the weather isn't great to hide out in with a few tables and games along with plug sockets which is handy.
We loved our stay and Ella was really kind and helpful.

Ella is a very welcoming host and had thought of everything to make our stay special and hassle free. We had two teenagers and a four year old and there was enough for all of them to do. A particular highlight was checking for eggs from our own chicken coop. Beds are comfortable and everything is clean and well stocked. You literally only need clothes, food and basic toiletries. It felt very COVID safe as we each had our own facilities and although the other guests were friendly, there is enough distance for it to feel private and relaxing. The field is beautiful and it was great to have some shade under the gorgeous trees. It is close enough to get to beaches etc but far enough away to feel like you're escaping society for a while. We are looking forward to returning. Thank you.

We had the best stay at Cheglinch farm glamping. I have an 18 month old and a 6 year old and the site couldn’t be safer. We stayed from Monday-Friday and the facilities were excellent and better than expected. The children loved going to collect the eggs from the chicken hutch every morning and visiting the calves in the barn.
We were extremely lucky with the weather so went to the beach each day at Woolacombe and it took no time at all to get there.
We will definitely be booking again in the future couldn’t recommend enough!

Perfect from beginning to end!
Lovely host, comfy beds, well equipped with everything you need.
Outdoor kitchen, great hot shower and clean loo! All to yourselves.
Fire pit to use and outdoor wood burner. Wood supplied and firefighters.
We really loved our stay.
Do remember though that this is a working farm so a little noisy ( animals and farm machinery) at times! Ear plugs good and eye mask if you’re not used to camping!

The accommodation facilities were all clean and conveniently located which is a big plus when glamping. In addition, there are lots of activities to keep the kiddos busy around the farm - there is a play area with a mud kitchen and sandpit, calf watching and egg picking, not to mention a big secure area for them to run around.
The farm is also conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and attractions.
Ella, the host is wonderful and ever so helpful.
My daughter didn’t want to leave, and I would definitely go back.

We spent a truly wonderful weekend at Cheglinch Farm. The tents are roomy, the beds are comfortable, the duvets and blankets are cosy.
Loved having the our own kitchen, shower and toilet and so much thought has obviously gone into everything they’ve done.

Absolutely spot on for myself and my kids ranges in ages from 18 down to 9. Clean tent, toilets and showers, egg collecting from the chickens, play barn , guinea pigs and playing field. Other than the rain I can't think of any negatives, and not sure we can blame them for the rain!

This was an amazing place. Location and setting were brilliant. Ella was very welcoming and did a brilliant job of explaining everything. It was warm, clean and had everything you would need with extra touches like a welcome gift. The area was great for kids, space to run around and play and our own eggs was a fantastic addition to an already brilliant stay. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Our stay was wonderful, particularly for the children - who are keen to return. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, all the facilities work well. The tent is very cosy. Ella was kind, friendly + helpful.

Loved our stay at Cheglinch Farm Glamping. Lovely clean and quiet site, with just three tents. We lucked out and had the entire site to ourselves! Well equipped kitchen area, comfy beds, fire pit, shower, compost toilet (not as bad as we thought!) - everything provided, so all you need to bring is food etc. There is even a fridge / microwave / washing machine / charge station / and secure lock-up for valuables on site. Beautiful countryside and beaches to explore nearby. The team were helpful and responsive when needed. We will definitely be back!

Definitely a 5 star rating for Cheglinch Farm Glamping. Everything was spotlessly clean and really well thought out and organised. The tent slept all five of us no problem at all and the beds were super comfy. The private kitchen area was a real highlight just a few steps from the tent. This had a full gas BBQ with an additional gas hob so we could use pots and pans also. The shower was solely for our own use also which was a real bonus. In addition to the above, the setting was idyllic, the location to get to neighbouring towns was excellent and the service from Ella and the guided tour told us all we needed to know on arrival. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first time staying under canvas and what a wonderful place to experience it.
Ella provided excellent communication and information prior to our visit and once we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The facilities are superb. Every detail has been thought of, the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you need, the beds are very comfortable and the duvets are super snuggly. The showers provided excellent hot water and it was great to have the privacy of our own private shower room. Our children loved collecting eggs in the mornings from ‘our chickens’ and had so much fun watching the calves and running around the field and playing in the play barn, it is very safe for children and that made another part of it so enjoyable. We all felt that we had spent some true quality family time together, in the open air with all the excitement of camping but with the extra luxury of the wonderful facilities at Cheglinch.
We would all thoroughly recommend you give this lovely place a try.

The tent was stunning and the beds so comfortable. Our children lived the cow picture duvets. Extra blankets provided for chilly nights. The cooking area , toilet and shower were fantastic and one per tent. Children loved checking for fresh eggs daily. Highly recommend Cheglinch Farm Glamping

We loved our stay in a beautiful lotus bell tent in a tranquil location surrounded by beautiful countryside and near the coast. Kitchen, shower and toilet facilities were great, the sports barn was a big bonus for the children. We enjoyed having fresh eggs provided by the farm’s hens each morning. We had a great stay. The tents are great - a fantastic size for our family of 4 - with comfy beds and lovely warm duvets. The whole setup was great and had everything we could have wanted. My children loved collecting eggs from our chickens every morning for breakfast, as well as visiting the calves and guinea pigs. Lots of thought has been put into making Cheglinch a great glamping stay, from the outdoor games and natural play area in the field, to the provision of solar powered fairy lights. Each tent has their own toilet, cooking area, shower and wash room, chicken coup and even a secure charging cupboard in the main barn. There is plenty to do in the local area too with fabulous beaches nearby and interesting towns like Ilfracombe (where there was more to do than I ever knew about). Ella was super friendly and on hand whenever we needed anything. I'd highly recommend a stay at Cheglinch Farm.

Ella and Simon have made their glamping experience so comfortable and have included lots of little touches to make it feel not too much like camping! Each tent has its own shower, toilet and kitchen so you don't have to share much with the other two tents but the one shared space is a real bonus - a barn with toys, a big table if you prefer to eat indoors, a fridge freezer and a washing machine. The field is lovely for running around, the fire pit is great for the evening and toasting marshallows and the lack of wifi and television mean that everyone can have a real break. Croyde and other beaches are 20 minutes away so it is in a great location for teenagers who wanted to surf all day.

Stayed for a week with my husband and our 2 month old son. Cheglinch Farm Glamping is located in a quiet beautiful field. There are 3 tents, each with their own kitchen, toilet, shower and chickens (who supply for fresh eggs everyday). There's a shared area for washing up and a barn with a shared fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. Each tent has its own cupboard (which can be locked) in the barn for charging mobile phones etc. The tent itself is huge and furnished with comfortable beds, bedside tables, a small table and chairs. Everything is catered for: there's coffee, tea, oil for cooking, pepper, salt, washing up liquid, laundry detergent, washing line, wood and a lighter for the camp fire, toilet paper, cot, baby bath. Everything is well maintained and clean. Ella is a very friendly and unobtrusive hostess. We can only think of a few minor points of improvement: a mirror in the tent area and a daytime light in the shower (for darker days) would come in handy, also it would be more hygienic for men to replace the current reservoir in the toilet with a deeper one. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend Cheglinch Farm Glamping!

The small glamping set up was great and made for a relaxed holiday. The children loved the animals and the site is set up with everything you could need for easy glamping. Ella and family are very welcoming and helpful. We would return here.

We went here last week with our toddler and it was fantastic, the host Ella was so lovely and helpful, the tent was beautiful and cozy with lots of blankets and solar lights. The kitchen well equipped and the showers/loos clean. The play areas inside and outside were an added bonus as were the fresh eggs every day. Our son loved seeing the animals on the farm and with only two other families on the site it was really peaceful and the location was great. We have booked again next year as we loved it so much!

The Glamping field was spacious enough for the 3 tents to have some privacy. The tents are very nicely decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. The individual kitchens are equipped well enough but a water point at the kitchen would have been nice, as it stands you have to walk a few meters to get to a water point. Again the washing up point is on the top of the hill so the walks can get a bit tedious, up and down the hill. Showers were excellent with space to hang your towels and a washbasin. The play barn has a large fridge and freezer, no real atmosphere in the room, felt a bit bland, not a place I would like to spend an evening in. I suppose a goop option for rainy days but we most probably would stay in our tent which had more of a comfy feeling. Kitchens do come with washing up liquid and sponges, some emergency tea bags, salt and pepper, which were all very helpful. Loo paper is also provided. It is a working farm so you know you will have some animals and tractor noises however we could here machinery and tractor noise all through the night which was surprising, what are they doing ? You can also here the traffic from a nearby road which again is a shame when you thought you were in a quiet area. The lady host was very welcoming, relaxed and pleasant.

Cheglinch glamping has everything you could possibly wish for!! I booked to stay to celebrate my birthday and everyone who came thought it was amazing, the tents were huge with plenty of space for 4 adults, all the beds were that comfy we all wanted to take them home including the duvets and pillows!!! Kitchen fantastic had everything you needed, and the shower rooms were lovely and spacious!! Nice and hot water too!! Toilets are echo friendly a little different but no problems, Fantastic for children, lovely and safe!! Guinea pigs, fresh eggs from the chickens perfect!!! We also had a huge fire pit at night which just made it perfect, I would thoroughly recommend cheglinch to all my family and friends, and now can’t wait to organise another stay there next year!! Thanks to Ella our host for an amazing time.
