Very nice and responsive host, large area with many options for sites available. Fire pits and picnic tables dispersed throughout. Very clean and well maintained outhouse, short walk from any site. Some noise in the night from a nearby road and neighbor dogs, but nothing that would wake you up. But more accessible (and less scary) than being keep in the woods somewhere with less noise
Hip camp is the best I’ve been too my favorite camp ground 100%

Wasn't able to stay due to issues with travel distance but I will say Pegasus was very responsive and generous when issues arose. Highly recommend for their comms and customer service!

Beautiful campsite. Friendly host. Grandkids got riding lessons. All enjoyable
Very accommodating. I stayed here for 3 weeks. It's really inexpensive. It's a beautiful site. It's quiet to me. They don't let a lot of people in and there's no overcrowding . That was the most important thing. There's a lot of wildlife. I've seen deer skunk turkeys. It's a beautiful place. Beware though you need your own facilities, there's only an outhouse. There is water supplied and it's good. Well water I give this place five stars
This place is so quiet, Serene and peaceful I extended my stay another week and after that I may stay another if they'll let me. It's a beautiful place out of the way and most important to me. It's quiet. I'm a disabled veteran and I suffer from severe PTSD and need the peace
The sites are awesome! Secluded very well. Kept. Very clean. Very quiet. Lots of nature and wildlife. I'll be back!

Great spot! We had an awesome time at Pegasus Farms. Beautiful camping spots on top of a hill. Ron was a great host and my daughter loved letting the horses. Thank you!!
We had a wonderful stay. Ronald was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The campsite was quiet, peaceful, and gave us plenty of space to relax.
We spent the weekend exploring Litchfield County, including the historic homes in Litchfield, Lake Waramaug, Spring Hill Vineyards, Topsmead State Forest, and White Memorial. It was the perfect home base for enjoying the area. We especially appreciated how quiet the property was at night and how flexible Ronald was with check-in and campsite selection.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway in a beautiful part of Connecticut. We would definitely stay again!

Great site with everything we needed. Host was easy to reach and checked in with us during a storm. Would definitely recommend!
I had a great experience camping at Pegasus Farm. Ronald was welcoming, communicative, accommodating, and so excited to share his beautiful land with his guests. The sites are unique but peaceful and reserved in their own way. The trails around the fenced in property are easy to navigate and gives you a great opportunity to explore without having to go too far.
I’ll be back!
Ronald’s place is a hidden gem!
Arrived at the farm and met up with Ronald who then helped picking out a spot for me. Mowed a small area for me in the field and it was perfect. Tugged away from others and had my own little space. Ronald was super helpful and checked in after the crazy winds we got. Appreciate all the info and help for this camping trip. Highly recommend this place. Got wildlife around and a couple bears came through but they stayed to themselves but kept an eye on their wandering. Definitely will be back for another weekend and hopefully get to visit the horses then too!
A hidden gem! Site , offers the perfect escape. The sites are secluded and nestled nicely in the woods, providing a great sense of privacy and security. The kids absolutely loved being able to meet the horses. Clean, quiet, and highly recommended for families!

The campsites were rustic , mostly level. He had chairs around , fire wood and a very clean outhouse. It was a great spot to relax around a fire and watch the stars. It’s pretty convenient and close to town but you feel like you’re at a campsite in the woods!

This was a great place to come and just sit back relax. The host greeted me upon arrival was definitely very flexible. Messaging me in between times easy directions to find a lot of stores nearby for groceries etc. needs before you get to your destination there’s lotta wood surrounding the area for firewood. The outhouse/bathroom is pretty accommodating in my opinion State parks need to updo their bathrooms so it’s nice to see an outhouse that was up kept. Definitely will be back. My son has sensory issues at times when smelling a farm there’s nothing but the woods you smell. I know some people ask about that only campfire and the s’mores you be making thank you again. I had a jeep and was able to come up to the campsite.

This tucked away property is just minutes from route 6, quiet, and just the right amount of wild. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night to soak it all in.
There is plenty of firewood, room to adventure, and the views are amazing!

My girls (and I) can't wait to go back, and we even had two very reluctant, first time campers, choose to stay the entire night!
The property is lovely, the sites are great, plenty of firewood... what can I say...it feels like home, in the absolute best way!

We loved camping at Ronald’s place. Very quiet and secluded. We only stayed overnight, but had the choice of his space which was fun to navigate in our SUV (if you have air suspension would recommend to jack it up for better ground clearance!). Thanks for having us!

Nice quiet place on the hill, we also visited the farm where we could find many animals, the host is super nice!
Great spot! We stayed one evening to practice our new tent and set up. Had a fire and crazy winds. We were off season and loved the ease and location. Owner was quick to respond.

Very quiet and private camping areas. Communication was excellent—Ronald was quick to respond to messages, which we appreciated. We did not get a chance to check out the horses, but maybe next time. Host was super nice—came over to chat with us before we left. Would definitely stay here again.
This was my second time staying at Ronny’s site because I liked it so much the first time. He is an incredibly hospitable host — he even came by to help me get a fire started, which I appreciated so much as a solo traveler. The campsite is peaceful, private, and a perfect place to relax and feel safe. It was another restful and positive experience, and I would happily stay again.

My 7 year old Son and I recently camped at pegasus farms and we had such an amazing time. Ronald was a great host who answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We made a fire, cooked dinner & had smores. You can take a light walk through the campsite to his animals where you can meet horses & cows during feeding time. I left relaxed, feeling peaceful and recharged my batteries. The only bad part was that we wish we stayed longer! Thank you again Ronald and we are looking forward to staying with you again soon.

We enjoyed our quick stay at this site. We got in late, but Ron met us and showed us to our large campsite. He brought us firewood which was really great. The kids enjoyed stopping by the farm and meeting the horses on our way out in the morning.
