Amelia has a cute little place to camp in her backyard. The property is sloped, and the spot near the fire pit is the best spot for a camper. We were welcomed by a huge flock of Turkeys that roosted in the trees nearby, and the pre-dawn gobbling was a nice way to wake up. We would definitely stay here again.

Nestled in a sweet road just outside of town, we still got all the mountain vibes with the convenience of getting quickly to town. Amelia was responsive and friendly. We met her at her tea shop in town and she was personable and helpful. Would stay again next time we are in the area. And the cute wild turkeys roaming the property were bonus!

We stayed 5 nights and attended Rockygrass. We loved this spot and the host was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Location was perfect for festivities and town amenities.

Nice spot - quiet, which is the main thing I was looking for. There were two other campers there, but plenty of space to spread out and I didn't need to interact with them at all. The other two had the shaded spots, but it didn't matter for me as I was gone all day at a music fest in town.
If you're camping to go to music at Planet Bluegrass, it's about a mile walk on the two-lane road. No shoulder to walk on, but not a big deal since there wasn't much traffic. Next time I'll bring a bike!

Amelia’s land is a great spot to camp when spending a few days in Lyons or attending a music festival. A short bike ride (or tube!) to town. Also super close to Hall Open Space for trail running, hiking or mountain biking. No frills, just a spot to park your small camper or van. Amelia is a great host, welcoming and helpful with local tips and recommendations. Be sure and check out her apothecary and tea house in Lyons, it’s charming and the tea is amazing.

Peaceful spot tucked into a winding, green river valley. I slept like a rock and woke to songbirds. Amelia made it effortless to arrive, enjoy the farm, and depart. Will definitely be back!

Nice property. The site is isolated from the house so we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Really close to Hall Ranch hiking/biking trail and easy to get to downtown Lyons.

We really enjoyed camping here! It was very quiet and private, and the land is really pretty. We were able to walk up the hill to see the sunset over the pond, and walked across Apple Valley Road to cool off in the creek. It's an 8-minute bike ride to downtown Lyons for pinball, a brewery, shopping, grocery market, and restaurants. We were really blown away by the scenery along the way, it's in such a beautiful spot. The host was great and communicated really well with any questions, we definitely plan to come and stay again soon.

Pretty open, easy to find, relatively flat, and super close to the freeway into Rocky Mountain NP.
We really just needed a parking spot for the night to pop the roof top tent and somewhere to make breakfast in the morning without having to hunt for BLM land.
I was waiting for someone to fly into Denver airport, and that got delayed until 3am. So it was nice to have a spot that was easy and accessible to just pull into and sleep. Waking up in the morning was nice, pleasant tall grass surrounding.
All primitive camping, so pack out what you pack in. No amenities here.

We loved our spot at Amelia's place. Our truck camper easily fit in the back of the property and it was very quiet and private. Amelia was accommodating and made great suggestions for places to walk around and explore the river. We went to a show at Planet Bluegrass which was an easy commute. Worked out perfectly for us! Highly recommend.
