We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

I found Qookey Farm Campsite by accident but liked the sound of not, being close to Wells and Glastonbury. It's quite a find. Each pitch is spacious, with its own power source and refuse collection point. Toilets are close by - the only downside? No shower facility. I'd recommend it to anyone..

A beautiful, peaceful place to camp for a few days. We loved the rope swings over the river and how the butterflies gorged on fallen apples in the orchard. Lots of space even over the bank holiday weekend.

Lovely situation, hills with hill forts, a view of Bardsey Island, amazing sunsets, a cafe. Two miles from
Aberdaron where there is a bakery opposite the Spar which makes really good pasties. Good for cycling from.

Lovely well kept campsite at the end of the peninsula. If you’re looking to go off-grid this place is ideal.
The owners were lovely and welcoming and can see they take pride in the site.
Will definitely be back for a detox!

Had a lovely stay at Mynydd Mawr camp site! Beautiful remote location, great for stargazing at night!
Super easy to camp up and find a pitch wherever you like (even tho it was the bank holiday weekend)

Lovely quiet site on the edge of glory, with mountain/hilltop views and a view of the sea into the abyss! Tranquil and some lovely walks around the coastal path or towards the local town/beach.
Sunset was amazing from the hilltop. Campsite was quiet, and friendly campers. Toilets, showers very clean and well maintained. And an added bonus of a cafe, really good breakfast choices, was truly scrumptious! Will definitely be back to visit very soon.

Great views over the sea. The site facilities are clean and the hot showers really good. Be sure to have £1 coins with you for 5 minutes of hot water. Little on site cafe is great for a cuppa and bit of cake and does brekky if you can't be bothered to cook your own or weather is dodgy. The site is a very very short walk from the most beautiful headland and views over towards Beardsley Island. This truly is a special place and the fact that space for the tents isn't overwhelmed by caravans is just great (they're on a different field and don't spoil campers views)

This is a lovely place to stay. The railway carriage was very comfortable and very well laid out, packing a lot of functionality into a cozy space. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It’s just a short drive to several must see places like Bath and Avebury henge.

Bij dit terrein past het woord camping niet zo goed. Het voelt meer als wild kamperen met iets meer mensen in de buurt. De eigenaar stelt een enorm terrein beschikbaar om je tent of camper neer te zetten. Veel velden zijn op een helling dus wat minder geschikt. De velden aan de beek zijn vlak en het meest gewild. Toch heb je ontzettend veel ruimte als kampeerder. Het pad is uitdagend en heeft wat kuilen en bulten. De hoger gelegen velden zijn denk ik alleen te bereiken met een 4 wiel aandrijving. Je staat daar dan ook ver weg bij de wc’s.
De eigenaar is een rommelaar, maar wij konden daar wel doorheen kijken. Het erf is nogal rommelig en onderweg naar de velden ligt links ook nog een bult afval. De eigenaar zorgt goed voor zijn dieren. Wij stonden op het veld waar ook een veldje afgezet was voor geitjes. Ze werden iedere ochtend goed verzorgd.
Bij de beek is het prachtig! Er staan hoogspanningsmasten door het terrein maar dat stoorde ons op dag 2 niet meer. Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk. Wc en douche is basic zoals we gewend zijn in Engeland, maar prima. Al met al hebben wij 3 heerlijke dagen gehad op deze wildkampeer camping.
