A very warm welcome from Nigel at the site, with explanation of the site. We loved staying in one of the pre-pitched bell tents, so cosy and warm with very comfy beds! Warm shower and clean composting loo. Helpful little things like the - rechargeable lanterns for use and bottle lanterns when it got dark. A plus too, lots of kitchen ware and crockery.

These are the only 3 pitches on our tent camping fields which you can park one car next to.

Chris went out of his way to help us with knowledge of the local area and was incredibly welcoming (and my daughter loved the treats he brought round every evening) Also some of the cleanest and nicest showers and toilets i've experienced camping!

We had a really lovely stay at the T-Barn! The site is in a peaceful, beautiful location with a thoughtful layout that offers a real sense of privacy. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and perfectly in keeping with the relaxed, off-grid feel of the place. We really appreciated the light-touch hosting style – it made the experience feel calm and connected to nature. A real highlight for our kids was watching the cows wander past each day – such a treat and a unique part of the stay. One thing to note: the listing currently says “no pets,” which was one of the main reasons we chose it (as a family with small children, we specifically look for dog-free sites). However, there were several dogs on site during our visit, and one in particular was quite disruptive. It didn’t change how much we enjoyed our time overall, but it felt important to mention for others who might be relying on that detail. All in all, T-Barn is a beautiful, welcoming place, and we’d happily recommend it – and hope to return again ourselves.

The glamping tents are cosy and spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable and clean. The tents are well spaced out so there is privacy and peace. We had a BBQ and a firepit provided. Facilities were fabulous with a well-stocked kitchen and lovely hot shower. Excellent, friendly hosts. My teenage nieces and nephew loved it and well hopefully be back.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay in a Bell tent. The tent is well equipped and the shared kitchen is a very nice and comfortable area. Electrical devices can be charged here. Nigel was very friendly and helpful and we loved his dog. The house of the owners is a beautiful, old building and adds a special atmosphere! Can recommend staying here!

The general environment was beautiful, a gorgeous rustic style farm campsite. The quad kitchen and common area was magic!! Everything that we possibly could have needed was provided. There was a large table, sofas and chairs, brilliant to hang out in on a rainy day! Fantastic to know that the whole place is run on renewable energy from their own wind turbine. The toilet and shower were fantastic! Beautiful hand written signs made it feel welcoming and homely. A lot of thought has gone into making campers feel welcome with warmth and hospitality. Nigel was lovely to deal with and available for a chat and answer questions when we wanted.

We loved our little gateway for the weekend. Very easy to reach there, and Chris is a great host! Bathroom was clean and they also prepared bread and other breakfast items for guests at a very reasonable price. The area was very nice too, and we will definitely return.
