Great location for great walks and to explore the Gower. The King Arthur nearby has great food. Facilities were excellent, clean with hot showers. Everything you need.

Lovely rural sight with lots of choice of pitches. Although you have to choose before you go so you may not realize how close to the toilets you'll be or whether you are in an exposed spot. We got a strong wind up the top, but it was October. There are great views from the top field.
The toilets and shower facilities are very good and spotless.
There is a beautiful ( but not easy) walk down through the woods to the sandy burroughs and beach, which was difficult for us with some physical disabilities. You could not get a wheel chair down there.
Great place for people who love walking, nature and rare plants. Great for families.

What a beautiful place to camp. This was my first time camping and we picked such a lovely place to experience it for the first time. Mark was very welcoming and really helpful. We had a few choices of where we could pitch our tent which was nice. We were very lucky with the weather as well. Beautiful views for a sunset & sunrise.
We enjoyed waking up to peace & quiet (minus the farm animals which we were quite content with ☺️)
There is a shower room & toilet which is ideal after a days hiking! We would recommend Marks farm to friends & family and would camp there again.

Fantastic views over the valley. Clean toilet and showers. It was lovely and quiet and we could fully relax and unwind. A short walk into Shaftesbury where there are plenty of pubs and places to eat. We had a great time and will be back.

Both me and my son absolutely loved our mini getaway, the campsite is such a hidden gem. You can travel by foot in the nearby area if you follow the public footpath as you leave the campsite, plenty of cafes, pubs and shops which is great!
Also fire pits and wood available which is always a bonus, highly recommend this campsite to everyone and will be returning 😊

Very friendly host, lots of space and privacy. Lots of animals too and great location for exploring west of wales including new quay.
Would recommend for anyone wanting to wildcamp but wants certain amenities (shower, toilet and water) on hand.

This place is so peaceful and relaxing. The views as mentioned are tremendous as it is on an elevated position. However, there are plenty of flat places to camp. The meadow grass is mowed and is springy and lovely to camp on and extremely easy to hammer in tent pegs. Pitches are not cramped .Excellent showers and the toilets are kept in a pristine condition. Great dog walks from the site and an easy stroll into Shaftesbury which is very dog friendly. I won’t forget the distant hills of the Blackmore Vale and the sound of church bells. Wonderful. Very tranquil.

Great location, quiet and spacious camp site. Pitches reasonably level. Male and female toilets and two hot water showers. Washing up and drinking water. Camp fires allowed. Good location for exploring Dorset and Wiltshire.

Camp site was super easy to find and only a short drive away from a cute little town with shops, bakeries and lots of antique shops which were all lovely to walk around. The site was dog friendly and had no set pitches or pitch size so ideal for larger tents/vans and groups. Toilets and showers were close by and always stocked up on hand soap, toilet roll and paper towels. Overall a lovely site with views out to fields and the surrounding farm land, you can also spot the museum that we took a walk to which was interesting. Our little group consisted of 3 girls in our mid twenties and we felt super secure and comfortable staying here for a weekend. During our stay there were families, couples, friends and a couple of larger groups camping at the same time but other than a few laughs and the smell of good food, you’re not disturbed by each other.

I don’t think the location can be beaten. The meadow is extremely well maintained and mowed so it’s soft and springy. Fab showers and spotless loos. However, it’s the view that does it. From wherever you are pitched there are views of churches, old stone buildings and the beautiful Blackmore Vale … peace and tranquility. Oh and Jason hires out fire pits. I have to mention that it’s also great for dogs with lots of good walking around and it’s a short jaunt to Shaftesbury which is very dog friendly. Eve Dog and I had a fantastic time. Wonderful.
