Lovely wild camping pitches on the North Devon coastline. You will be one of a maximum of 6 pitches in a large field on the beautiful North Devon coast with incredible sea views.
We can provide a firepit to borrow and you can purchase logs onsite so you can stargaze and chatter around the fire - back to nature!
We are based just outside the pretty hamlet of Martinhoe in North Devon, a stone's throw from the SW Coast Path.
There is a historic Roman Beacon closeby and plenty of wildlife around, we'd be surprised if you didn't see deer in the neighbouring fields!
There is a compost loo and a water point, but no electricity / wifi - delightfully off-grid.
Situated on an organic working farm this is the perfect place to escape!

This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant.
Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge.
Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Richard is such a nice guy and goes out of his way to help, including helping us with our electric hook up. The site has really lovely views and was very peaceful. We had a really great, relaxed visit. Close to dog beaches and bouldering at Helman’s Tor. We also really enjoyed the eggs! Definitely recommend if you want peace and quiet with a view

Very nice campsite in rural surroundings (although the pitches themselves are in a well organised square field with hedges surrounding) and still very close to Cheltenham and other places of interest. Hosts are very friendly and site is well organised. Was lovely to be able to pre-order breakfast.
Facilities block is well maintained and well appointed, the Bayliss & Harding hand soap was a nice touch too.

Great camping site. Facilities, while basic, were kept very clean. Lots of space from other campers and tucked down a secluded lane in beautiful Cornwall. The dozen eggs that were delivered when we checked in was great too! I’d recommend. Check out The Crown pub close by for a delicious meal.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Camping Field and will definitely be back! Richard is a very friendly host who is happy to give recommendations and lent me some tools when I needed them! The loos and shower are super clean and pleasant to use. I definitely would recommend this campsite!

The site was beautifully clean and well set up. Becky was so welcoming and helpful -she understood that my dog can be reactive and made sure we were able to be at a distance from other campers (he liked Becky!) There are plenty of water points, and dog bins. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean.
