What a gorgeous place! The perfect place for a calm refuge to reset and re-enter life restored.
Lovely kind hosts, beautiful views and walks straight from the roundhouse enjoyed by us and our cat Blue. Absolutely magical.
Such a comfortable bed, cosy lights, cooking supplies, folk takes - all you would need. Can't thank you enough!

Brilliant campsite. I was camping there alone but felt very comfortable. Lovely field to camp in, beautiful views around the farm in the morning, great building to chill out in, useful facilities to store and heat food. Also loved the honesty shop with delicious pastries. Ian was very helpful with recommending local walks, and checked in throughout stay. Would love to visit again next year!

Our second stay and even more perfect, the camper van pitch is secluded and quiet, the decking and fire pit beautiful touches for relaxing outside of the van. We were very pleasantly surprised at just how warm the showers were despite the wind and cold and the roundhouse is lovely. To top it all it’s easy to get to the coast path and marvel at the dramatic coastline. 💕

Definitely as described, and would have been absolutely gorgeous if the weather was amazing: beautiful view, fire pit and barbecue, just imagine! The weather was a bit wet and windy for us, but we still had a lovely two night stay and basically had the place to ourselves. Toilets and showers great, the little pub so nice and the farm shop an added extra. We really valued the commitment to recycling and zero waste and everyone we spoke to was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

We recently camped at this enchanting site with our two children, aged 8, 9, and our dog. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a fairy tale, complete with a beautifully crafted communal campfire hobbit house. Despite stormy weather, the cozy atmosphere of the hobbit house provided the perfect retreat for family bonding.
The camping pitches were well-groomed, flat, and sheltered, ensuring a comfortable experience. The facilities were impressively clean, far exceeding our expectations for compostable toilets, and the warm showers offered a refreshing luxury after a day of outdoor fun.
A highlight was the hobbit hut, featuring warm water for dishwashing, making it feel like a home away from home. The food prep space and cozy seating area encouraged board games and reading, keeping our kids entertained for hours.
With stunning dark skies at night, the site is perfect for stargazing—bringing a telescope is recommended. The welcoming owners added to the friendly atmosphere that made our experience special. Conveniently located for day trips to Aberystwyth or Borth, there is a shop around 1 mile away, though we suggest bringing marshmallows and wood for the campfire. The owner sells firewood, ensuring you can enjoy magical evenings around the fire.
The children loved playing on the swing and running in haystacks, while our dog received a warm welcome, making it a truly family-friendly location. Overall, this campsite was the highlight of our summer.

it is absolutely worth the magical mystery tour to find this place, tucked away in the hills behind aberystwyth. it is a gorgeous and well equipped site with everything you need and nothing you don’t. there is plenty of space between the pitches which have a lovely vista, and was very pretty in the early morning, late summer light.
we only stayed a brief night there to break a journey but would happily go back for a proper rest and recharge for a few nights, it felt like a deeply peaceful place.
lots of nice thoughtful touches in the facilities, all very clean, and a helpful and communicative host. thankyou for sharing your land with us.

We had a wonderful night wild camping at Treflach Farm. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel incredibly welcome, friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing the farm’s beautiful surroundings.
The facilities were outstanding, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and far better than you’d expect for a wild camping experience. Everything felt well cared for, which made our stay both comfortable and memorable.
It’s such a peaceful spot, with lovely views and a relaxed atmosphere that really lets you switch off and enjoy nature. We left feeling refreshed and already planning when we can come back. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely site to stay at. We camped at the bottom of the field, which also had the two bell tents on. Lovely views across miles of countryside. We particularly loved the hut which house sofas, a large fridge, kettles, a toaster, a microwave, and air fryer, an induction hob, a freezer, crockery and cutlery. There was also a wood burning stove, but it was too warm for that. We enjoyed seeing the pigs and had a treat when the piglets wandered down into the camping field one afternoon. We loved walking down to the pond, where we saw lots of wagtails and also a kingfisher!
We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We loved staying here. It was a great pitch for our van. The round house was a real treat, especially when the rain set in one evening and we were able to chill out in the cosy and dry.

My friends and I loved camping here. The views were lovely as were the amenities! Showers and bathrooms were super clean and spacious and even had soaps & shower gel in case you forgot (which we did!). The communal area was really homely and the kettle, toaster and microwave was super handy!! Love what the farm stands for, very good vibes. Thank you!!

We had an excellent stay at the round house. The location is incredibly serene with gorgeous views. The building is beautiful and has been furnished with great attention to detail. The bed is really cosy, the hot shower is great and the cooking area is well equipped. Meg and Benjamin were very attentive hosts and we would warmly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful place, perfect to reconnect to the nature as all you can hear are birds and grasshoppers and the service is unpredictable (which is an advantage for me). Toilets, showers and all common spaces very clean and kept in great condition.

5 nights at Magical Roundhouse or Train Wagon
We had a wonderful few nights. A great play to relax and loved the fact that it's so tucked away with so many walks straight out the door. A bonus was seeing the odd supersonic jet emerge at tree level at the end of the Mach Loop. Don't worry, these were a spectacle, not an irritation. Peace and serenity assured here and some wonderful beaches a short car ride away. Recommended!

What a magical spot for our first trip in our new to us (but very old) camper. Toilet and showers were beautiful and clean, the roundhouse is a great space and the camping field and lighted decking in the quarry just lovely. No mobile phone signal apart from on the bench and this made it even better. Would recommend for a real getaway from it all site!
