The lady who ran the site was approachable, visited the site twice a day and checked in on us after some epic weather the night before. She even offered us some logs. Facilities were fine- enough flushing loos for the number of people, and a shower to boot. Cleaned daily.

2 nights at Mynydd Mawr

Hard to find initially so follow the directions given, although they weren’t that great to be honest. Follow the headland and not the postcode, site is last one on the left if you keep going past where the post code leads you too. However the site is good, great views when you can see them. We had bad weather but on the occasions it was nice the view was lovely. Very basic site, but very clean and well kept and I would say decent value for money. Not sure we’d stay again but that’s just due to the fact that we prefer places closer to beach access for the kids, although have to say they were happy as can be so no complaints from them! Showers cost 50p for 3 minutes so bring plenty with you as we didn’t know this and struggled to get enough from shops to serve a family of 4

2 nights at Henbant Permaculture Farm + Camp

Family of four, kids 3 & 7, enthusiastic campers looking for ambiance, privacy, nature, good food and a roaring fire - Henbant PC did not disappoint. Bothered me and my wife get that it was the best campsite, for our set of preferences, we’ve ever been to. Keep it up, folks, we will be back!

Loved it here. The site was really quiet and chilled. Quality walks from the site with amazing views. Tons of wildlife and easy to get to lots of beaches. The owner was sound and we had a top time 😀

2 nights at Parke Farm Camping

We had a lovely two night stay at Parke Farm. The pitches were spacious and well kept and we liked the long grass between them to give a sense of privacy. It wasn't very busy so we were able to pick our pitch. It was a quiet site but family friendly. All the facilities were clean and there were flushing toilets, hot showers, washing up facilities, a fridge/freezer and even free tea and coffee in the morning. The little onsite shop is a bit pricey but does have anything you would likely need if you'd forgotten to pack it. Check in was easy and everyone on site was friendly and helpful. The location was brill and about ten minutes drive from Barafundle and Broad Haven. We would happily stay again.

2 nights at Henbant Permaculture Farm + Camp

A blissful retreat from day to day life. An idyllic little hideaway with the warmest of welcomes. I loved the undercover barn areas with books and games, sofas and tables, tea and coffee. We really enjoyed opportunity to get stuck in on the farm and help with the veg patch. We stayed in a campervan pitch with glorious sea views and short stroll to compost loo. Wish we'd brought a mallet though as ground was sandy/stony and really tricky for pegging out our awning. Pitch is exposed, so bare that in mind if pitching any tent/awning and bring a mallet!!

We loved staying at Glan-Y-Mor. It is a very well landscaped site with nice pitches and a beautiful wood where the kids had a whale of a time. I appreciated the kettles, and the bathroom was perfect... it definitely ups the ante brushing your teeth listening to classical music!

It’s a beautiful campsite, lovely level field the river was gorgeous and our children loved playing in the little stream by the edge of the field. The toilets and showers were kept clean. Gareth was really friendly and even came to the rescue with jump leads.

Adjoining the campsite, we have a padock with super frindly sheep that love to say hello. We sell little bags of sheep feed, just incase you'd like to give them a little treat. In the middle of the site, we have a little tots play area, perfect for keeping you're small kids entertained. We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am. Our site has close links to the A6 and m6 J33. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. There is also lots of interesting activities to do locally.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking

Our level well drained field is easily accessible from the A483, and offers spacious pitches. We have 4 hardstanding pitches the remainder being laid to grass, with optional; electric hook ups available. We have spotless toilets and showers, with shaver point and offer a large utility room for washing up, fridge freezer and sockets for mobile phone charging. We welcome all types of units - tents, touring caravans, campervans, etc. as well as dogs (though ask that these remain on a leash) The village os Crossgates is within walking distance, which offers launderette facilities at the local garage which also has a cafe and handy Co-Op shop at the petrol filling station. Llandrindod Wells, which has cafes, supermarkets, pubs, takeaways and activities, is approximately 3 miles South. Fishing is available on the farm, with trout, chubb and brownings on the river Ithon, but licences are required. Torches are a must, as we have no street lighting, ideal to star gaze at night whilst listening to the nearby animals.

There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.
