Ease and convenience are the name of the game when camping. Pub is super close, definitely stop by after a hike for a pint and fries. We got to view our hiking spot from our tent. The hot water showers are a dream and the toilets are clean and well stocked. Site was not crowded and campers were quiet. For context, we stayed 29 and 30 August 2025. 10/10 would go back. Take coins for showers!

Was good camping location, quiet area with enough near by to explore and experience.
Signage into and around the camp could be bigger and clearer for people driving and people never been there before.

My partner, dog and I had the best time camping for 3 nights in our tent box at The Hollies.
The toilets and showers were great and cleaned regularly.
The views from the top field were gorgeous!
Everyone was friendly and welcoming but also left you to it - the perfect balance for a relaxing trip.
The pizza/ burger van & cafe was a lovely touch to enjoy on the weekends. S’mores kit available to buy which were great for a late night treat around the fire pits available to rent for cheap!
There are plenty of beautiful walks nearby. We personally loved walking to the top of the roaches then enjoying the view of it from our campsite that same evening!
We throughly enjoyed our stay and would 1000% recommend.

Campsite was get, find a pitch and setup no messing fantastic surroundings pub up the road i would go again and there is a small catering traller that does great pizzas in the evening and a breakfast in the morning

Beautiful site with spectacular views, loads of space to pitch and for kids to play. Facilities could do with an upgrade and some hot water for washing up would be nice but didn't spoil our stay at all, I'm sure we'll be nack

Me and my partner loved our camping trip. The camp was very spacious, clean and the showers/toilets were clean and well maintained (we witnessed staff multiple times in and out cleaning and making sure toilet roll/hand wash was stocked up).
We were able to hire a firepit and also able to buy additional wood on camp which was great. This gave us a really cosy feeling whilst enjoying the stars.
There was also a little pizza place on the camp called Pipers Pizzeria, this was wonderful and was a great way to not have to worry about tea and just enjoy the night.
Louise (the host) was really responsive and helpful. I got in contact with Louise a few times with queries (sorry Louise for being a pest) and she was really friendly and made the stay feel very easy. Louise was great!
Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definately recommend and be back multiple times in the future!

We stayed on the lodge field in our motorhome. Martin happened to be there on arrival and was very welcoming, providing helpful local advice. Beautifully quiet with exceptional views. We also walked down to the lower site which had a lovely brook running through which our children enjoyed playing in. We had a lovely time at Martin’s place and would certainly visit again if we wanted a few days of peace and quiet. Thank you.

I loved tent camping on Sarah's land! The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another bitch nearby butit wasn't too loud. My kids loved feeding the farm animals!

This was a great campsite because of the stunning views of the Roaches and Hen Cloud. It’s a basic site but you can get great pizza at the weekends. It is busy with spaces filling up quickly.

The campsite was great. Back to basics. Good price and we had an amazing time. Really quiet but loads of space for kids as well.
The hosts popped round every evening to check in and offer firewood.
Wasps was an issue but the hosts were on hand to assist almost immediately touching a couple of nests that were identified.
We had to make some homemade wasps traps and we caught around 200!
Leek is close by with Morrisons and Lidl for food supplies etc. there is a go outdoors express local for camping gas as well.
Will definitely be going back again.
