The Edible Flower Farm

2 units · Tents7 acres · Ballynahinch, County DownThe Edible Flower is a 7-acre organic smallholding and supper club set in the drumlins of Co. Down. As well as supper clubs we run a Community Supported Agriculture Scheme called Farm & Feast. We also teach cooking, brewing and growing workshops onsite. Our home is an early 19th Century farmhouse in the beautiful just outside Saintfield in County Down. On the farmstead we have two event spaces, The Gallery and The Cow Byre. The Gallery is a modern event space and commercial kitchen that can host parties of 30. It is here that we host our Supper Clubs. It has beautiful original stone walls which have been restored, a log burning stove and amazing views of the surrounding landscape especially at sunset. The Cow Byre is a more rustic outbuilding with many original features and is home to our wood fired pizza oven! We grow lots of vegetables, herbs, fruit and edible flowers in our kitchen garden at the front of the house, in our lower field beds and our new polytunnel. We have two small bantam chickens, Georgia and Bridget. (As well as our two tent pitches we have our Garden Studio, a newly renovated, bright and quirky studio flat which can also be rented.) We are located only twenty-five minutes drive to Belfast (10 miles) and thirty minutes to Newcastle (15 miles) and the Mourne Mountains. If you are a Game of Thrones fan it is thirty minutes drive (13 miles) to Castle Ward (the filming location for Winterfell). We are also close to a number of wedding venues, including Larchfield Estate, The Carriage Rooms at Montalto and Finnebrogue Woods.
