Tucked away in a secluded pocket of countryside, Nordic Glamping offers an off-grid retreat designed for those who seek peace, privacy and a gentler pace of life.
Our four beautifully handcrafted yurts sit within ten acres of unspoilt organic hay and wildflower meadow surrounded by ancient woodland, thick hedgerows, a bubbling stream, a weather-led newt pond and charming little bridges. There is a lot to explore!
This untouched, undulating landscape is home to thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly facilities: composting toilets, hot copper-headed showers, fresh running chalk stream filtered water and a covered kitchen and dining area. Shaded spaces for gathering or unwinding allow you to unwind and disconnect in nature comfortably.
Each yurt has been handcrafted by ourselves and contains everything you need for a cosy stay on site. Our handmade beds have comfortable mattresses and are dressed with organic cotton or linen bedding, wool blankets and super soft pillows.
Everything here is off-grid for a low as impact to nature as possible - although a reliable 4G signal is on hand for those absolutely necessary connections ;-)

Meadow Lake Glamping is based on a working farm that has embraced traditional farming methods for over 200 years. Our location is a big WOW factor with our five yurts in secluded, tranquil settings around the grounds of Limes Farm. The two small medieval lakes attract lovely bird life including swans, herons and ducks and the orchard is a lovely walk. There's an on-site restaurant serving delicious breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, dinner and bar. There is also a village pub and well appointed playground only a few minutes walk away. There are loads of things to see and do in the area along with the historic cities/towns of Oxford; Stratford Upon Avon ;Leamington Spa; Warwick and Woodstock, home to Blenheim Palace. We LOVED staying here not only was the yurt unbelievably cosy and comfortable, the facilities were brilliant and clean, we found a tree house we didnt even see on our way in, we lit lots of fires in the pit and enjoyed our dinner, breakfast and smores and sat enjoying the views whilst eating.
We sat quietly and watched the squirrels play in the trees and drop discarded nut shell on us!
We honestly didnt want to leave, my son was in awe. Definitely recommend!

This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. Woodland Tipis has such a relaxing feel to it. Mark and the team manage ro achieve the perfect balance of feeling connected to the beautiful woodland setting with comfort and thoughtful attention to detail. This break was just what our little family needed to reconnect and escape after a very busy few weeks, thank you. We hope to return again!

Weekend Trip to Oakdean Cottage Yurt
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Oakdean yurt, it was the perfect little getaway. There are many beautiful walks nearby which we thoroughly enjoyed, the yurt itself is extremely comfortable. The only thing I would say is there is no electricity/solar energy in the yurt, so be prepared for this. The kitchen is small but has most things you need. The hammocks were a nice touch.

The Yurt was lovely and well setup. Loved the lights and fire place inside to warm it up when it got cold in the evening. The site had chairs and a fire pit setup with wood available to buy which was great as we didn’t have to try and find some before arriving. Would really recommend!

We absolutly would recommend a stay in the Yurt, it had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location is ideal for a quiet, reflective break in nature. Listening to the owls and nightjars calls from the woods of an evening was a particular highlight. If you need a detox from the hectic world to relax and restore its the perfect space to do so.
The salad, steak and cheese hamper was amazing value, and the coffee and pancake stuff provided made us feel so welcome.

We had a wonderful family weekend in Little Owl. The yurt was very comfortable and there was everything we could need nearby in the kitchen and toilet/shower block. We all enjoyed exploring the woods then relaxing in the hammock and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We had two great day trips, canoeing on the Wye and hiring bikes in the Forest of Dean. Such a beautiful area, would definitely recommend!

Just back from a one night stay in the Ash Yurt as a family of 4. Absolutely loved it. Beautifully crafted accommodation with amazing attention to detail. Spacious inside, very comfy beds and the added bonus of a log burner.
Great to sit around the fire pit with the children, we had a perfect star filled sky.
It was an unseasonably chilly night (late Sept) but our thoughtful hosts had catered for this before arrival with extra thick duvets/hot water bottles and a supply of firewood - we were very snug.
Kitchen area is well stocked with everything you could need. Clean showers and toilets - a lovely site.
Great communication from hosts (thank you). Would love to come back.

1 night at Oakdean Cottage Yurt
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Himalayan Yurt nestled in the heart of the Forest of Dean, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This yurt is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, offering a peaceful retreat in nature without sacrificing convenience.
The outdoor area is breath taking, with a beautifully maintained garden complete with hammocks that are perfect for relaxing under the trees. There’s also an outdoor cooking and dining space, making it easy to enjoy meals in the fresh air. The outdoor fire pit/oven are a fantastic touch, ideal for cozy evenings by the fire, making your own wood-fired pizza.
Inside, the yurt is both cozy and spacious, with a wood-burning stove that adds warmth and ambiance, especially during cooler nights. The double bed is incredibly comfortable, and there’s a pull-out sofa for extra guests. The thoughtful seating arrangement, including a charming reading bench, provides plenty of space to relax. The décor is unique, full of character, and perfectly complements the natural surroundings.
The amenities are also impressive. The attached cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with tea and coffee facilities and a portable gas cooker for indoor meals. The double shower is spacious, with plenty of hot water, and the flushing toilet is a nice luxury, considering the remote setting.
Overall, the Himalayan Yurt is a hidden gem and perfect for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature but close enough to The Forest Of Dean.

Weekend Trip to Nordic Glamping at Botswicky
We had an amazing time in our Yurt and will definitely be back! Some much needed rest with little hassle and Nordic Ash is just what we needed. Bed is super comfy & the yurt is tastefully decorated plus added extras of lights, a battery pack, deckchairs, parasol, table etc / basically everything has been thought of! The kitchen has everything that you need but still great quality (especially loved the plates!!) & the compost loo & shower are clean and work well. The price is very reasonable & I really appreciated only being able to book a night (although would happily come back for more!) as many others have minimums that can make stays quite expensive. Logs & firewood was provided for the pit and even a buggy to pull your luggage. The walk to the pub was pleasant & quick, plus great food there too, even though there was the ability to cook everything at the site. Thank you for having us we will definitely be back!
