We will definitely be visiting again, lovely little campsite surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. Unfortunately didn't get to cross paths woth David as we was too busy exploring the area, but David was always a phone call away if we needed him, which is all we could ask for.

2 nights at Dolwen Riverside Camping

This is a gorgeous spot. There are eight pitches and all but one was taken when we arrived for the first night. But they are so widely spaced out that it feels very quiet even when it is full. It was mostly families when were there. The second night we had it all to ourselves. David came out to meet us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. Both in person and when responding to a question via the app. Loos, kitchen and showers were all clean tidy and in good working order. Basically have not got a bad thing to say about this place.

Lovely relaxing stay, very peaceful and so close to the river. Loved the campfire, wildlife, view & sunsets! Very helpful host Suzie.

Weekend Trip to Radcot Leisure on Thames

We had a great weekend camping with our 2 children - the setting was really lovely and a great addition being so close to a pub! The campsite is a nice size and there was a lovely chilled atmosphere when we stay. The facilities could do with an update as they are very basic and compact but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip!

Weekend Trip to Pentwyn Dingle and Lodge Field Camp

We stayed on the Pentwyn Dingle site and it was just gorgeous next to the brook. You rock up, call Martin to let him know you are there and then pitch up wherever you fancy (as long as you are past the water station). We had a very peaceful night’s sleep until our dogs woke us at 5am! There are two pubs within 30 mins walk of the site, mostly on quiet country lanes so easy enough with dogs in tow. We will definitely be returning.

Great location with all the essentials covered. Clean toilets and showers, lots of electric hook up pitches and nice pubs within walking distance. What more could you need?!

We stayed in Epynt and had a lovely couple of days. It was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Double bed was very comfortable and the kids liked staying on the bunkbeds. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sun set. We found it warm enough so didn’t need to use the log burner. The communal kitchen was great and the games room was a very welcome addition.

Lovely hosts. Easy to find. Peaceful place. Woodland and grass pitches. A compost toilet. River running through the woodland. Absolutely enjoyed my stay and will return. A wonderful campsite.

Good for small groups, more ideal for couples, and solo travellers. Great surroundings, wild life, n'such. Still in two minds about the bell. All round a bargin. Would be happy and intend on returning at a later date.

We had a brilliant weekend at Fourwinds Campsite in March, PE15. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. A special shoutout goes to Andy, the site warden, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his local knowledge and friendly nature really added a personal touch to the experience. The pitches were spacious and well laid out, with plenty of room for our tent and gear. Facilities were spotless and regularly cleaned, with excellent showers and toilets. It’s clear the owners take great pride in the site, and it really shows. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful setting—surrounded by open countryside and just a short walk from the river. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet escape. The location is also ideal for exploring the Fens and nearby attractions. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience in Cambridgeshire!

Weekend Trip to Celtic Woodland Holidays

Really enjoyed our stay in Poplys. The podcast was comfortable, warm and well equipped and the whole site was pretty and well thought out, with a good "amenity hub" which is particularly useful in inclement weather. The only slight issue we had was we found the temperature of the showers to be inconsistent and they seemed to start off warm but quite quickly get much colder. It should also be noted that the owners' dogs are free to wander the site which may be a concern for people who are nervous of dogs: one of them made my daughter and I jump when it appeared from the veranda of our pod as we returned one night from the bathroom (although it was perfectly friendly) and the other dog, which was more nervous, was by our car on two occasions when we wanted to access it and barked at us as we approached the car - it did back off when we got closer but some people might find that unnerving. Overrall we had a lovely stay and I'd be happy to return and also to recommend it to others.

Absolutely beautiful spot. The river running through was the cherry on top. Feels very wild with only a couple of other campers which we barely saw. 100% recommend :)

A another perfect stay. Went to Four Winds last year for the Easter weekend. And again this year. Both years the weather has been a challenge. But the warm welcome, fantastic service, and amazing facilities make up for any rainy weather. Had pizza on Friday night, highly recommend you do the same. Please visit Four Winds, you will not regret your stay.
