Such a lovely spot. Very idyllic and private. Pitches were a decent distance from each other which was really nice - it was nice knowing other people were around but having your own private space. Dog friendly, which was brilliant - camped for the first time with our boy. He didn't like the owls! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Woodsworth Exploring - our kids loved camping in a woodland, and it is well-looked after and beautiful. You do have to walk in with your gear, but they provide wheelbarrows for you to use. Emma was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come back sometime soon!

We stayed on the lodge field in our motorhome. Martin happened to be there on arrival and was very welcoming, providing helpful local advice. Beautifully quiet with exceptional views. We also walked down to the lower site which had a lovely brook running through which our children enjoyed playing in. We had a lovely time at Martin’s place and would certainly visit again if we wanted a few days of peace and quiet. Thank you.

Beautiful! What a lovely stay we had, from the peaceful pitch under the trees to the clean spacious toilet block, not to mention our little camping friend the robin that came within 2 feet of us begging for some crumbs. We saw alot of different birds, a squirrel, rabbit and didn't see but heard an owl. The pitch was secluded with not another camper in sight, the only time we ran into other lovely campers was on the way to and from the toilets. Cannot recommend this place more if you are looking for peaceful surroundings, a wild camping experience or just getting back to nature. Last but not least the hosts are knowledgeable, friendly and are doing a great job of keeping the wood as nature intended with minimal trace campers have ever been. I will look forward to my next visit!

Very relaxing and quiet campsite with an amazing view of mountains surrounding it. It was very easy to find as well with lots of nice places to eat and things to do in the nearby towns.
Martin was very accommodating and friendly and gave us some good information on what mountains and trails to go on too. It is also extremely dog friendly and we will definitely be coming back here next time we visit!!

Wow what a lovely special place. And Martin clearly has the same feelings for it.
We stayed at Pentwyn Dingle with no electric. The peacefulness of the location is just perfect and the large stretch of land means there is plenty of room for everyone. The facilities are basic but adequate for the site. Although no toilet/showers, there are fresh drinking water taps and an Elsan toilet waste disposal area. There is a pub about 1/2 miles walk away through the country lanes. If you are lucky enough to get Martin chatting he has a lot of local knowledge and helpful information. ( he is a great guy)

Had a perfect camp in the beautiful woods which are carefully tended and protected by Duncan and Emma. Pitches are well spaced out so you feel like you have your own little private spot of nature.

What a brilliant stay from start to finish. John the owner is such a lovely guy and goes out of his way to help wherever possible. The site is very clean and is surrounded by a beautiful countryside with a lovely river (shallow) in the bottom field for you to paddle in. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here it's perfect

Really beautiful site with incredible scenery. Super quiet but pub nearby, lots of lovely walking and easy bus route to Hay-on-Wye or Brecon. Owner Martin couldn't be more helpful. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed on the Pentwyn Dingle site and it was just gorgeous next to the brook. You rock up, call Martin to let him know you are there and then pitch up wherever you fancy (as long as you are past the water station). We had a very peaceful night’s sleep until our dogs woke us at 5am! There are two pubs within 30 mins walk of the site, mostly on quiet country lanes so easy enough with dogs in tow. We will definitely be returning.

We spent two nights in a lovely spot by the woods and river, so quiet and peaceful.
Tucked away from everything and everyone, just what we wanted! Martin is so friendly and very accomodating, we will definitelty be back soon.
