Weekend Trip to Blossom in the Beans

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time here. The excellent scenery paired with the amazing hospitality really made our weekend special. The accommodation was outstanding and perfectly equipped for any trip, big or small. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help in any capacity they could. Would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a get away or any group looking for a place to relax in the quiet countryside.

This place is something else. I've stayed for 3 nights and honestly, this is the best place to recharge . Wow what an incredible stay! The camping barn is really lovely, with everything you need. The location is absolutely beautiful and feels like you’re own little hideaway, but still with easy access and perfect for exploring Llyn Peninsula. 3 nights at wildwood quarry retreat

We stayed in the Oak cabin. Both cabins are pretty identical. Absolutely fantastic stay with an amazing location and stunning views. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather but that was ok because we had all the facilities we needed to cook, clean and relax. Super easy access to nearby towns if wanting to venture off to find stuff to do. The outdoor bath was a really nice touch as well. Felt so relived and stress free not having to think about the daily grind for a few nights. Couldn't recommend Wildwood Quarry Retreat enough!! Thanks a lot Colin. :) Matt

I loved staying in the barn at John's place. The land, woods, trees and vibe of the place is magical. It feels like you're outside but with all the luxury of a beautiful stone shelter. The fire was very warm, I would take John's advice about the type of wood to use as we tried others and they didn't fit! Magical views from the hot tub too. I couldn't recommend this place enough, especially for people with dogs.

We had the best weekend in the gypsy caravan. The area was really pretty and felt very private and we had so much space to ourselves. The caravan itself was well equipped and the bed was really comfy. The separate bath caravan was also lovely.

What an amazing place with beautiful views. Really enjoyed all of it. The ammenties, the service and the place. Had BBQ's, enjoyed some ciders both in the room and next door at the bar and just relaxed. If you have a chance to stay here, do it. Thank you.

The 4 of us has a great time at Knotted Routes orchard camping! We had an amazing stay and the hosts were great!! The orchard is beautiful and rustic in a quiet and beautiful area - we did a lovely walk to Ludlow through the countryside on one lf the days! Highlight of the trip being the Pizza Oven; all setup for us, we brought our own toppings, they tasted amazing! Certainly a back to basics camping trip, which was perfect for us! Thank you both!

Glangwdi Glamping offers furnished bell tents in sight of Pen y Fan, the Brecon Beacon’s highest peak. For some, that alone will be reason enough to book but for others there are further temptations. The site is 2.5 acres. Take, for example, Glangwdi’s pygmy goats. There’s a daily opportunity to meet these little farmyard friends and there are ducks and chickens too. Outside, each has the off-ground fire pit and outdoor seating regular glampers will have come to expect but there’s an added extra too: a private camp kitchen, that’s also canvas covered. It provides a sheltered place to cook and dine when the weather’s wet and welcome shade when this open field is bathed in summer sun. On such days, this is just the kind of scenic spot that could tempt you to stay on site all day but if you’re feeling adventurous the mountains will soon lure you away. Hiking, biking and wild swimming (try Llyn Cwm Llwch on way up top) are all on offer here. Closer by, Held Wood is a local favourite for walks with a series of small waterfalls within it. The Taff Trail offers well-signposted routes – towards the peaks in one direction or along country lanes to the market town of Brecon in the other.
