We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

Such a relaxed place to go to. Enjoyed the cream tea, yummy homemade scones.
Very friendly people, warden was very helpful and approachable. Love the buildings around us, the river and the pitches were flexible. Definitely recommend

Pros:
- Loads of space to pitch / feels private
- Easy to get to
- Mel (host) was really helpful and welcoming
- Clean and relatively flat site
- We had the fire pit/wood bundle and thought it was well worth the money
- Access to sink & clean water
- Plenty of walks nearby (we did the lacock circular hike on AllTrails which was a short drive away & £5 to park in the nation trust car park all day)
Might bother some people:
- The toilets are porta-loos (they were clean though)
- No shower facilities for longer stays

Absolute gem of a place. Zoe was so welcoming and sorted me out with some wood for the fire pit as well. Clean facilities and beautiful views. Felt very safe as a solo camper. Will definitely be back!

Lovely big flat field next to a quiet lane with good access. Nice view out to the White Horse on the hill and close enough to a pub :)
We basically had the whole place to ourselves, but there is loads of room.

Stayed here on Saturday night … first time here. Lovely and peaceful. Toilets were immaculate. Sat-nav didn’t quite get us there but a text to Mel was answered very quickly. Great spot. Thanks ☺️ x

Our first family camping experience and I can't think of anything I would change! Beautiful quiet site (apart from the sound of our children and their new friends playing on the old go karts and in the sandpit!). Lovely clean shower and loo block with washing up facilities. Fire pits are available and they sell wood for £10 a bag. Gorgeous spot for watching the moon and sunrise. Will definitely be back! ☺️🌅

The tent spaces are great. The river is lovely. Our two children were the whole day swimming in the river! They were allowed to use pallets to build their own raft. The tea in the tearoom was delicious.

What a beautiful campsite! The staff were both friendly and helpful, being surrounded by the old farm buildings was something else entirely. Washing up in a stable made the task almost pleasurable! The river was perfect to swim in with spots to paddle as well as fully swim further along. 10/10

We had a really good stay at Park Farm Campsite for one night in our roof tent. The site was clean and well-kept, with all the facilities (toilets, showers, etc.) in excellent condition. The views were lovely, especially from the far side of the site where we were parked.
One tip for roof tent campers: it’s a good idea to bring levelling blocks if you’re setting up on the far end of the field, as the site does slope down.
Overall, a great spot for a peaceful night with everything you need. We’d happily return!

Fantastic location on river frome so can cold water swim, or paddle boarding (short part only). Stowfords is so well laid out...reception is easy and super friendly. Pizza van is perfect (fri/sat 5.30-8pm) lovely pizza. Camping site well laid out.. Big pitches along river, very quiet, lovely group of kids playing all over fields...toilets and hot showers, clean and well maintained...local attractions include public paths along river to Iford or check out Farleigh Hungerford castle with awesome audio tour. On Stowford Farm, there are arts, pottery, glass making studios which had open studio days so interesting to see. Night time is just chilled, with firepits/bbqs lit up and soft chatter amongst happy campers. Definitely be back soon.

Stowford manor excelled my expectations, clean tidy well managed site, quirky showers in the barn, 50p for 8mins which was more then enough time, water lovely and hot, wild swimming was very invigorating, I would definitely recommend stowford manor if your looking for a nice peaceful stay, also they do amazing cream teas

Only booked for one night but will definitely be booking again and for longer
Outstandingly beautiful views with the river and greenery- not only were the employees so lovely and welcoming but everyone else staying was as well and I know it's because all felt relaxed, and connected.
100% recommend

Absolutely beautiful! We had pizza on the first night and HAD to go back for more in the second night 😂 next time we will try out the cream tea :) toilets were clean and not too far away. Cannot fault! Will be back again!!
