Weekend Trip to Bridgewood Camping - Woodland camps

The wood is beautiful and peaceful. Paul gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our pitch. Each pitch has its own small enclosure so you feel like you have your own space. They have two adorable pigs. Bring cash! - they have a lovely little hut that sells firewood, kindling and small pots of their own honey. They also have wagons to borrow so you can wheel your stuff to your pitch.

We went here for a few days over the bank holiday. We loved it. We had our own space out in the woods with composting a toilet close by. There was water available and a beautiful woodland to sit and build our camp fire and chill listening to the wildlife. The tawny owl hooting away added to the authenticity of being out with nature. I loved it and we will return. A great stay and a great location for those who want to appreciate nature and tranquility :) Thanks both

Beuatiful location and wonderful hosts! When we checked in, we were shown around and got to choose our pitch. The tracks are nicely led and the trollies provided made unloading everything so much easier! The toilets are better than most composting toilets and have loo roll provided. The honey is a great extra to purchase, so make sure you bring some cash! Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved camping here and staying on the Daffyd pitch. Jane and Ian were so incredibly lovely and had some great recommendations for what to do in the local area. We also enjoyed an oven baked pizza on the Saturday night! Peaceful, beautiful and welcoming stay - truly special. We hope to be back.

2 nights at Celtic Woodland Holidays

We stayed in Epynt and had a lovely couple of days. It was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Double bed was very comfortable and the kids liked staying on the bunkbeds. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sun set. We found it warm enough so didn’t need to use the log burner. The communal kitchen was great and the games room was a very welcome addition.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Woodland Holidays

Really enjoyed our stay in Poplys. The podcast was comfortable, warm and well equipped and the whole site was pretty and well thought out, with a good "amenity hub" which is particularly useful in inclement weather. The only slight issue we had was we found the temperature of the showers to be inconsistent and they seemed to start off warm but quite quickly get much colder. It should also be noted that the owners' dogs are free to wander the site which may be a concern for people who are nervous of dogs: one of them made my daughter and I jump when it appeared from the veranda of our pod as we returned one night from the bathroom (although it was perfectly friendly) and the other dog, which was more nervous, was by our car on two occasions when we wanted to access it and barked at us as we approached the car - it did back off when we got closer but some people might find that unnerving. Overrall we had a lovely stay and I'd be happy to return and also to recommend it to others.

The views from the site are fantastic. The accommodation was fabulous , had everything you needed. For us it was a restful weekend after a very busy week. Ceri was fantastic and answered texts as soon as she got them. Would recommend.

I enjoyed the views and quiet area. Chloe The host was lovely and super accommodating. Chloe was really kind, even took time out to find us when we got lost trying to find the way. Our daughter was able to run around enjoying the surroundings, exploring and playing freely. Our dogs were able to bark and be free.

2 nights at Hideaway Hut, Camping cabin.

We absolutely loved our stay! Highlights included the gorgeous bathhouse, cosy and well stocked caravan and taking peaceful walks in the woods. Anna was a helpful and generous host and made us feel so welcome.

Great site and lovely hosts! A very welcoming site for a warm weekend. I hear it can get quite busy though and when wet is prone to flooding. So best to avoid peak or wet times. Amenities were fantastic and the woods and fields were a great bit of nature to surround yourself with. I think they could be clearer on the firepit and firewood buying - we almost didn’t pay as thought it was included but luckily saw the honesty box qr code just in time!

Beautiful location! Would highly recommend! We were a little bit confused on how to get to the site, Chloe was brilliant and sent us through some directions and we found it easily from them. Nice private camping areas with their own firepit and composting toilet. Great for couples or groups of people as there are lots of different pitches offering different unique locations and views. Looking up and seeing the stars above a fire pit, priceless!

We stayed 2 night camping, was a lovely clean site. Beautiful towns near by to explore and plenty of places to go walk. Host was cheerful and very helpful. We would absolutely come back again!

Weekend Trip to Llandyfan Camping

We stayed as a small family of three in the Cedar Cabin for my birthday and had a great time! The Cabin was cosy, tidy and in a great spot with views down the valley. Andrew helped us settle in and had some recommendations for places to visit. We had the fire pit one night and shamefully we struggled to keep a fire going, so Andrew popped over to help out. With the anglers pond nearby, it was great for bird watching. We will definitely be returning and thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
