We are a small, friendly site on a working farm in the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have shepherds huts, bell tents and a land pod in an old sheep paddock, all with private fire pits. We’re surrounded by footpaths and bridleways that can be explored all day, and 10 minutes drive from the sea. Had a lovely stay at Peter and Celia’s farm. Despite the weather not being on my side the views were beautiful over rolling hills and woods.
Both Celia and Peter were very welcoming and helpful. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area

This was my third visit this year and we pitched up in a different location to before. The choice of where you want to pitch up is endless and every area of the pitch gives you complete privacy with stunning views. If you have a dog then this pitch is perfect for them to enjoy open space. Peter and Celia are amazing hosts with great communication. The pitch is really easy to access and find, we were fine with our 7m camper. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Peace, perfect peace! 🥰
Despite torrential rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved not seeing another human being for 3 whole days! Plenty of wildlife for company though, and we loved having the big skies and amazing views all around us!
Lovely hosts directed us to where to pitch and then left us to it and we can't wait to stay again! Highly recommend if you like to camp slightly wild!! ❤️

A fantastic stripped back Wild camping experience that was just perfect for what I needed. Very organised in the communication and lots of choice on where to best pitch up. I have a roof tent so managed to find a nice flat spot that felt very remote with wonderful views.
Look forward to coming back soon.

We enjoyed our stay very much, and just wished it was longer! The fields were lovely with beautiful views down the valley, and we very much appreciated the relaxed set up, thoughtful touches, and the wildlife and farming feel (i.e. nice and natural and not an over manicured 'touring park'!) Good facilities that worked very well - warm showers and compost loos (not at all stinky). Very clear directions provided with good signage so we found the site very easily. Lots of space so although there were 7 (I think) pitches in total that evening it felt peaceful and not crowded. Logs for sale although we didn't purchase any, and lots of info in the honesty shop. The land is lovely and we watched birds of prey, listened to owls, strolled along the newly planted hedge bank, and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise the next morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Celia and Peters pastures were the most idyllic wild camping location............ wide open spaces lending themselves to the most peaceful and isolated wild camping experience. There's plenty of different spaces to choose from, from pastures in commanding vistas to being tucked away out of sight in a small valley between the fields. There was everything to love about our stay and absolutely nothing to dislike about it. It was the most peaceful and relaxing break. I'd highly recommend it so long as it's what you're looking for and we will most definitely be back to connect with ourselves again in this beautiful setting to just unwind and recharge. Thank you Peter and Celia.

We had a wonderfully peaceful few days at Swallow farm. Brilliant off grid facilities. Lovely shaded spot so no early mornings due to tent getting too hot. The table and sink area bring a little bit of luxury and we loved hunting for campfire sticks in the woods.
Not hot water but if you leave a metal bucket of water in the sun it gets to a nice temperature for a cool bucket shower.

Hosts were friendly and the site was obviously basic but exactly what we were after - solitude.
Our three year old and our dog loved all the space to run around.
Close to Burford - lovely little village.
