Glamp or pitch up here in our secluded and peaceful mini off-grid site combining both field and forest.
We have a shared under cover space and also an outdoor fire-pit to gather more than 20 people comfortably. There is a simple compost loo for your use with hand-washing and dish washing area outside. And the rest is all Mother nature! There is no running water or drinking water. You will need to bring your own. No electricity points or WIFI are in the campsite and no masts nearby so enjoy the EMF cleanse.
Whether you chose to stay in the ancient woodland or the herbal pasture, you will feel the benefits of reconnecting with yourself in nature, breathing the clean air and hearing the birds singing. The parking is 800m away and there is minimal tractor use so you can imagine yourself roaming the fields and forest of England in days gone by.
Fitness required. It's a long walk from the car park to the campsite. Trolleys provided.

Hill Top Farm Wild Camping has just one pitch but the folk here keep the grass trimmed for easy pitching and you can park right next to the pitch. It's a tiny Wild Camping site with no running water, toilets or showers. What Noakes Meadow does have is plenty of space for you to enjoy and camp fires are definitely allowed. A wheelbarrow of fire wood can be purchased for £10 Cash/Paypal/Bank Transfer on arrival. This site is far away from the madding crowds though close to the M20 and A20 for easy access.
A mere 10-minute stroll along the road is a fab 16th-century country inn for food and pints. On the other hand you could always fire up a barbie and sizzle some sausages or grab a take away from the chippie 7 minutes away in the nearby village of Lenham.
This wild camping site operates a leave no trace policy so be prepared to bag up and take everything with you when you leave.

We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely campsite, we had the woodlands all to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the local footpaths and seeing the animals on the farm. Our dog loved it! The host Jon was very helpful and insightful with the local area. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Spent a wonderful time there. It's really secluded. I had the whole woods alone. The host is very friendly and helpful. I only missed my family because the place is well equipped for a family. Everything is there what you need to have a comfortable superb time in the nature. The host even provided a saw to be able to use the fallen branches for campfire. I will definitely go back, next time probably with my family.
I highly recommend this campsite!

Phil, family, and staff made us all feel extremely welcome (especially the kids). The showers and facilities were great 😅. The breakfast rolls and the pizzas were really tasty and very handy as we had a lot of rain on one day 😋. Having a forest play area for kids as well as llamas nearby makes it an ideal family camp site.

Lovely site with very clean facilities. Extra bonus was using the fire pit. Also a very nice looking butchers and cafe on site.
The only down side was the noise on the Saturday night. The camp is not staffed and the gate is left open. At 2:30am there was a lot of noise coming from a group of other campers who had arrived back late. This included noise from cars with one car in particular driving very fast around the field. To say this was unsettling would be an understatement as it was difficult to know if this person may have been under the influence of alcohol due to the speed and also the fear of the car ploughing into a tent. There is a notice up saying no noise after 10pm however this was obviously ignored. The Sunday night was much quieter except for the early morning wake up call from a couple of military aircraft at 6:30am!
I would happily visit this site again if I were to visit the area it’s just a shame that one group of people couldn’t respect other campers.

Have stayed here before and would again.
Really well organised from logs to food, good facilities including the open air showers. staff all really friendly. space is perfectly located for walk (to lots of well placed pubs)
pitches are large and no space is very far from the facilities. if i had one request for next time it would be better coffee but that’s a bit picky!
really good, reasonable camp for couples and families.

Had a lovely trip, beautifully flat land and plenty of space. The facilities, toilets, showers etc were excellent and loads of them. Nearby shops on white house farm, we largely closed as we stayed over a bank holiday weekend but a nice addition.

Hot water in shower and sinks. Drinking water a bit cloudy. Lovely and peaceful. Nice walks nearby. Quite surreal with the camels in the distance! Alpacas were sweet but a little far for petting. Not windy as sheltered location. A very large area with many pitches near alpacas, the camels or trees as you prefer. Completely safe and enclosed. Manager came to offer firewood which is available at any time for the permanent fire pits. Bring your own logs

We really enjoyed camping at Plum Camping. It's a basic site which we particularly like, with toilets, showers and wash up facilities. We loved being able to use one of the fire pits free of charge, just buying wood bits back transfer or honesty box. Point to note, lots of info says it's a tent only campsite, but whilst we were there, I'd say it was 50:50 tents/campers and motorhomes.

I had a brilliant stay in Henry’s orchard - had everything I needed, no queues for facilities, lovely outdoor showers, and quiet and calm. Very good value for money, and great pub a 10 minute cycle away.

Tomkin's Farm was a lovely place to camp for the weekend. Friendly welcome, lovely facilities, lots of toilets, gorgeous open air showers. And a bar/shop every night, and cooked breakfast each morning.. plus pizza one night! Great unexpected luxuries. Thank you guys. See you again 🙂

Good field. Good facilities. Simple. Would have loved the option to plug in electric in the field, but the mobile phone charger option by the fridge was OK (and having a fridge is a big plus). Would definitely come here again.
