3 nights at Over-the-Moon Luxury Shepherds Hut
Have already recommended this place to friends. We had a lovely stay in the sunshine. The hut is has everything you need in a compact but unsquashy space. Enjoyed some fine walks and a super day out in Ruthin. We'd also recommend the Red Lion for a visit. Ruth & Jude were both very helpful and welcoming. I'm sure we'll come back.

Weekend Trip to The Damson Shepherd's Hut
It was an outstanding stay at Jo's place. It was everything we wanted - quiet, peaceful, and very pretty. This was the ideal Lakes location.

Wonderful, unusual campsite in a beautiful location. Many of the pitches are in secluded little groves carved out amongst the gorse bushes which lent a lovely private wild camping feel, whilst also having the convenience of a campsite. The owners and farm staff are super friendly and keen to share what they are doing in terms of regenerative agriculture. We spent a lovely morning wandering round the market garden and farm shop and meeting the pigs in the woods. The sauna is a great addition and the generous 2hr sessions give plenty of time to thoroughly relax and recharge. Wellies were very useful on the grass and in the woodland. We loved our weekend stay and we will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay in this charming shepherd’s hut nestled in a peaceful meadow. The hut was beautifully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and cozy getaway. The surrounding area was lovely, with fruit to pick and plenty of space for the dogs, who absolutely loved it! The hosts were fabulous—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this little gem for a relaxing countryside retreat.

Henbant is a wonderful place! So much good stuff being done here by these lovely people. We returned again in our campervan and enjoyed a warm welcome, peace and quiet surrounded by nature, and gorgeous sunset. The farm shop is great, and the compost loos are clean and well kept. We loved hearing about the events and community projects they run. We would highly recommend Henbant for couples or families. Thanks Henbant team!

The most beautiful views of the valley to one side, and the rolling hills to the sea to the other. Very quiet and peaceful place, which felt very wild yet had amazing facilities - including a sauna! Run by really friendly people, making exciting and positive things happen. Would love to come back here soon!

Weekend Trip to Chilled Out Adult Only Glamping
Lloyds meadow what a beautiful place! As soon as we got here Sarah made us feel very welcomed showing us around and explaining everything that we needed, the bell tents were so clean and cozy. I can now see why the bed is award winning as I had the best sleep ever it was so comfortable! Little touches as ringing the bell for any help and bringing us fire wood whenever we needed it made us feel at home and welcomed. Lloyds meadow is the perfect get away and I would definitely highly recommend to anyone, it’s close to Chester town and has lovely bars and cafes nearby! Cannot fault in any way! Thankyou for having us, will definitely be coming back again! P.S we also made friends with the neighbours they were very welcoming also!!! ( the ducks & goats) xxx Beth and Dec

A blissful retreat from day to day life. An idyllic little hideaway with the warmest of welcomes. I loved the undercover barn areas with books and games, sofas and tables, tea and coffee. We really enjoyed opportunity to get stuck in on the farm and help with the veg patch. We stayed in a campervan pitch with glorious sea views and short stroll to compost loo. Wish we'd brought a mallet though as ground was sandy/stony and really tricky for pegging out our awning. Pitch is exposed, so bare that in mind if pitching any tent/awning and bring a mallet!!

What a delightful little find. Absolutely lovely little hut in total isolation. Everything you need to get away from it all. Perfect evening sitting outside by the fire listening to the countryside. But equally great tucked up inside with the log burner on listening to the pouring rain.
