15 units ¡ Glamping3 acres ¡ EnglandLahtle Wood is an eco friendly off-grid Glamping site in North Yorkshire, catering for all age groups with the addition of delightful wood-fired hot tubs for our romantic 2 person pods. There is no electricity inside the pods but there is running water for our toilets and hot showers for your comfort.
We offer 15 Glamping units accommodating families and groups of all ages for 2, 4, and 6 people. Each pod has its own private area and facilities placed in the corners of 4 separate grassy glades hidden amongst the trees. The aim is for guests to unwind in the great outdoors, away from their electronic devices, discover how to light a fire to heat the shower boiler, cook on a camp fire grill and snuggle up around a log fire pit.
We are a dog-friendly site, but we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead and owners take responsibility and use the bins provided. Please be mindful of children playing within the wood and grassland.
Situated 10 miles from the old market town of Malton, 13 miles from the coastal town of Scarborough and only 29 miles from the city of York, we are perfectly located for you to explore close by local activities such as the North Yorkshire Water Park, Dalby Forest and Go Ape, Flamingo Land, the Sealife Centre, Eden Camp and Castle Howard, to name but a few. For the fit and active, take a stroll along the Wolds Way trail with delightful views across this beautiful County and rest half way round at our lovely local pub, The Dawnay Arms for lunch/dinner on route, only a miles walk from our site.
