My partner and I went camping here for 2 nights (Fri-sun) with our 3 dogs (2 off leash). The staff are soo amazing and attentive! There’s so much space and all of the other campers we met were soo kind and respectful. The kitchen is well maintained. The shower/toilet was clean and I had hot water for my shower. It was so amazing to just have a peaceful weekend away from the world. Before we even left we started planning our next trip back! 10/10 experience

The facilities are excellent, the on site gas stove is something more campsites should have! Excellent showers and loos. The only slightly negative is the presence of farm dogs who seemingly have free rein over the site. Those who dislike being “investigated” by dogs may want to bear this in mind. Also be aware of the odd dog poo on the ground.

Our first family camping experience and I can't think of anything I would change! Beautiful quiet site (apart from the sound of our children and their new friends playing on the old go karts and in the sandpit!). Lovely clean shower and loo block with washing up facilities. Fire pits are available and they sell wood for £10 a bag. Gorgeous spot for watching the moon and sunrise. Will definitely be back! ☺️🌅

We had a really good stay at Park Farm Campsite for one night in our roof tent. The site was clean and well-kept, with all the facilities (toilets, showers, etc.) in excellent condition. The views were lovely, especially from the far side of the site where we were parked. One tip for roof tent campers: it’s a good idea to bring levelling blocks if you’re setting up on the far end of the field, as the site does slope down. Overall, a great spot for a peaceful night with everything you need. We’d happily return!

My partner and I spent two nights camping this week at Cuckoo Farm in our campervan. What can I say. It was perfect. Roland was very welcoming and the whole vibe was chilled and relaxed. We ended up camping up the top with an amazing view as we went for a grass pitch without hookup, though the hookup pitches were also lovely; the whole field is beautiful with different plus points wherever you chose; riverside with trees, or friendly sheep and views! You can just go wherever you like. The facilities were spotless, and the organic farm reared pork chops we purchased from the handy shop were delicious. The directions were spot on. Thanks so much, we can’t wait to come back.

Set on a traditional family-run farm in rural Norfolk, Snettisham Meadows is on the outskirts of the pretty village of Snettisham and short drive away from North Norfolk's beautiful white sandy beaches. Animal-mad campers, form an orderly queue please, as this 329-acre farm has several attractions up its sleeve for you, including meet-and-greets with pigs and ponies, lamb feeding in spring and deer safaris. There’s also a dog paddock for rent so four-legged companions can have a frisk around, and an area on the camping field is reserved for guests with dogs. Campfires and barbecues are permitted and you can borrow firepits from the site owners. Logs are also available to buy. The site is only 10 minutes’ walk from a village pub if you fancy a change of scenery. After a fun-filled day exploring this lovely part of Norfolk, come back to your pitch and keep your fingers crossed for clear skies and some serious stargazing. If the answer is fair to middling, Damside Campsite might just be the place for you: this pop-up spot is surrounded by the glorious wilderness of Peak District National Park. Doesn’t get much more blissfully peaceful than that – except for the occasional lowing cow, all is stillness here. Having said that, don’t worry: you won’t have to scramble across hills and dales for a pint: a traditional pub serving real ales and home-cooked food is right in the village of Peak Forest, a 20-minute walk away. Both the site and the pub welcome dogs, though it might be wise to keep them on a lead when walking past the farm animals. This is wild camping; facilities might not be abundant (there are no showers), but they are well maintained and include a portable toilet and a washing-up area. There is also fresh running water, and you’re welcome to start a campfire or a barbecue. You can grab essentials in the village shop, or head to Chapel-en-le-Frith (10 minutes) or Buxton (15 minutes). If you’re here with the kids, the flat, grassy field where you’ll set up your tent makes for an excellent play area on which to run around, kick a ball or fly a kite. A nearby playground has swings, slides, a small adventure course and a multisport pitch. Walking paths start from right outside the farm, or you can drive to hiking areas like Chee Dale Stepping Stones (10 minutes), a dramatic gorge on the River Wye.

Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space. Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space. Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 11pm and 7am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 11pm. Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; please use existing scorched areas if possible rather than creating new ones. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished. Wipe your feet prior to entering the Bell tents to remove any coal that may have become attached. Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 5mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment. Drugs and Alcohol: Drug use is prohibited, and violators will be asked to leave. Consume alcohol responsibly, and do not drive or move your vehicle after consuming alcohol. We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.
