A small, eco friendly yurt campsite on five acres set in the beautiful Herefordshire/Welsh borders The Black Mountains which form part of the Brecon Beacons National Park and Wales are on your doorstep and there’s a large choice of adventure activities, experiences and sightseeing to be had. Hay On Wye, famous for its many bookshops and its annual Book Festival attracts visitors worldwide and is 7 miles away.
The campsite is on the edge of a village and next door to a great pub. The village boasts a second pub, a restaurant and a well stocked shop and Post Office all within walking distance. There’s a great bus network with regular buses going to all parts of Herefordshire and into Wales with a bus stop by the pub.
Each accommodation yurt is solar powered and has its own timber framed and canvas field kitchen, a bathroom cabin with a modern compost loo and its own private deck with a shared shower block centrally located between the four yurts.
Pets are welcome and the five acre meadow is securely fenced all around

Off the beaten track on top of the Mendips in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A mixture of four acres of wild woodland, orchard and field set on a hillside. Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

Weekend Trip to Nordic Glamping at Botswicky
The Yurt was lovely and well setup. Loved the lights and fire place inside to warm it up when it got cold in the evening. The site had chairs and a fire pit setup with wood available to buy which was great as we didn’t have to try and find some before arriving. Would really recommend!

Lovely place. Clean facilities and powerful hot showers. Karen was helpful.
Unfortunately, our last night there (when we had an early start the next day) was a bit noisy as the red kite yurt is located between the communal lodge, the main toilet block and there was a tent full of noisy teenagers nearby. Maybe a noise curfew is needed at a certain time?

We absolutly would recommend a stay in the Yurt, it had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location is ideal for a quiet, reflective break in nature. Listening to the owls and nightjars calls from the woods of an evening was a particular highlight. If you need a detox from the hectic world to relax and restore its the perfect space to do so.
The salad, steak and cheese hamper was amazing value, and the coffee and pancake stuff provided made us feel so welcome.

We loved the glamping experiance yurt was nice and cosy and had everything we needed inside from pots and pans glasses to camp stove and kettle . Hot tub was fantastic stayed warm for hours. Farm animals are loverly and we enjoyed feeding them. Farm dog alfie is the cutest little dog ever. Christian is a fantastic host and we felt very relaxed. X

We had a wonderful family weekend in Little Owl. The yurt was very comfortable and there was everything we could need nearby in the kitchen and toilet/shower block. We all enjoyed exploring the woods then relaxing in the hammock and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We had two great day trips, canoeing on the Wye and hiring bikes in the Forest of Dean. Such a beautiful area, would definitely recommend!

Well equipped and in a beautiful setting, it even had wild deer roaming around the grounds which was very special to see. We took a trip to Barmouth which was close by and a hike up to Arthog waterfalls.

Excellent yurts, really cosy and had everything we needed. Chris was the perfect host, welcoming but also left us to have a relaxing weekend.
Hot tub was great and so was the friendly animals! The red lion pub and chestnut tree cafe were great highlights.
Already planning on returning and hiring both yurts!

We had a fantastic weekend at Sarah's camping yurt accommodation, Sarah was an absolutely fantastic hosts, allowing us to check in an hour later and let us take our time on departure. The yurt had everything you could want and had the biggest bed I have ever seen and so comfortable. The love Sarah has put in to the yurts shone through and I can't wait to return for more fun and making happy memories.
