There are small, shallow pools next to the tent where you can bathe and relax.
The tent is located about a 15-minute walk from a small, thriving Cévenol village. The village has restaurants, a bar, two shops, a bakery, and a butcher. There is also a popular artisan market every Sunday morning.
There are multiple swimming spots in the village and surrounding area, as well as many opportunities for hiking.

You will find a pretty ground of 2000m2, plenty of oaks and pines, that offer a place in the shade. You will have a magnificent view of the sunset and on the opposite a beautiful view of the small mountain. You will have a small path giving access to the Herault river, located 200m away.
There is a round wooden platform, 5m diameter, on which you can practice yoga and stretching. There are toilets with a small sink with drinking spring water ( +filtration and an ultraviolet treatment system), and electrical outlets to recharge your devices. You can pitch your tent or park your motorhome.
The place is quiet, and very well located for hiking, cultural visits, swimming and to practice many sports and experience cultural and gastronomic activities in the nearby region.
Located 1.5km between two villages, you will find shops, chemists, three supermarkets, a car garage, medical centre and petrol station.
The entrance to the A75 and A750 are located 2km away.
There are also bus routes serving the surrounding villages and more distant towns, and also for Montpellier (25 minutes away).

The site and the pitches were spacious. There was a friendly atmosphere on the site and the communal Friday night dinner hosted by Yves and Pauline was a lovely experience; having good food cooked for us and being able to meet and eat with fellow campers was great fun.
The facilities were clean and functioned well. Communal fridge, hot water for washing up and charging points for phones as well as the usual facilities.
The river at the bottom of the site was a bonus; plenty deep enough for a proper swim or just a cooling dip. Children loved messing about there as well.
Recommended for a quiet getaway in Aveyron. Lots to see and explore as well.

What a perfect site! Yves is a man who has followed his heart and found a space in the countryside, and we are incredibly lucky to share it with him. The site has everything you want at a minimal.
Pitches are the most spacious we found in France to date, the lake is the perfect temperature to swim (pack a paddleboard!), The barn on a busy frite night is buzzing, at other times a wonderfully lit tranquil spot to bump into the number of other charming campers (who exemplify the sites ethos), around the clock honesty bar, shade in the big trees, picnic benches, wonderful walks, banks full of apple mint for cocktails, Belcastel a scenic 20 min walk, forests and river sides, a solid, well thought out shower block with lovely showers..
It is fair to say we struggled to leave and its one we will go back to!

From the warm welcome upon our arrival right through to the last day, we had a superb holiday. If you like a tranquil campsite off tourist destinations, this is the place to be. The children (and adults) loved to swim in the river that runs next to the campsite and forms a natural border. The owners try to leave the campsite mostly untouched; following the motto "Where nature can be." Thanks to the great number of trees, there was always shadow, important in Southern France's hot summer. A little stream running behind our tent provided both a playground for the more adventurous as well as the night's lullaby. Don't miss out on the delicious dinner cooked by Pauline on Sunday nights as well as the perfect French fries on offerTuesday and Thursday evening.

How can this be a 2 star campsite? I counted at least a billion from my hammock! Definitely one of the highlights of our road trip, Pradines was a joy to stay at and explore. We camped deep in the woods and the children ventured off on their bikes to the play areas and pool each day. The family that own and run this site have created a very special place, wild and welcoming at the same time. We will return.
