The rustic cozy cabin was definitely rustic and cozy! Yet it was fully equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, a VHS player, lots of movies, a record player, and Netflix. It was peaceful, warm and the surrounding land was beautiful. I even saw three deer walking by. We also loved the hot tub at night! Being cozy/small, it was a little hard to move around with my partner and two dogs. And yes, there's a beautiful bathroom available, but you have to walk outside to get to it. Not too bad except I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night every night. I would have brought our portable toilet with us if I had realized how everything was situated. All in all, Anna and her husband were great and responsive, and we truly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you!

The cabin is cute and was nice and warm. Friends were able to sleep in their tent outside and it was cozy. The bed in the lower area is extremely firm but the one upstairs is comfy.

If you need a quiet, peaceful place with a beautiful house, I highly recommend it. The owner is very welcoming. The house is clean, cozy, and warm. There is a stove you can light yourself. There is a fire pit outside. It was ready to use when we arrived.

We booked this cabin through HipCamp and were left with rather mixed impressions. The cabin itself is very cozy, styled like a hunting lodge, with a true “retro” atmosphere. Inside everything is simple but tasteful — it really feels like a little corner of nature where you can disconnect from everyday life. We genuinely enjoyed this authenticity and sense of peace. Unfortunately, at the very end of our stay, a situation occurred that spoiled the overall impression. As we were getting ready to leave, the hosts let out their large dog. The animal behaved quite aggressively, which felt unsafe — especially since we had our 4-month-old baby with us. We really appreciated the atmosphere of this place, but it would be important for the hosts to consider this issue with pets, as guest safety matters a lot. Overall, the place has great potential for a wonderful stay, and we sincerely hope this aspect will be addressed.

We absolutely loved our stay! The bed is so comfortable, they provided extra blankets and towels. The entire campsite had everything you needed from a stove, lighters, water, a shower, etc. The owner went above and beyond when we had some things taken but everything was promptly returned. It’s secluded and quiet and absolutely beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay at Timothy's cabin! It was easy to find, and matched the description. The cabin was cozy and had thoughtful touches, and had a microwave, hot plate, and fridge. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom/ composting toilet was clean and well maintained. Timothy was gracious and showed us around the farm and introduced us to the chickens! There was supplies for a fire, although we didn't end up building one. We will definitely be back!

This was a great experience. Almost perfect. The view was absolutely amazing and the sound of the rushing river was very relaxing. It was great to have all the cooking things supplied. The tent was very clean and we had great sleeps on the bed which was very comfy. I suggest bringing a tarp to put behind the shelter because the shower and bathroom is right there looking in to your site. A few things could be improved. First, the rain shelter did leak a little bit which wasn’t great for the rainy weather we had. Also, one zipper in the tent was broken so it was quite difficult to close. Unfortunately the shower only worked once before breaking and it wasn’t fixed by the time we left. Overall a great experience and all things that could be fixed were liveable!

The cabin was rustic, cozy, and full of charm — the kind of place that instantly makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. Marigold Farm is tucked away in a quiet stretch of farmland, about a 30-minute drive from High River, Okotoks, and Strathmore. We visited at the end of June and experienced overnight temperatures as low as 4°C. I had seen the wood-burning heater in the photos and expected it might be chilly—but the cabin was wonderfully cozy and warm! There are a number of thoughtful touches and amenities that aren’t mentioned in the listing. The cabin is equipped with a toaster oven, a single-burner hot plate, a couple of pots, a kettle, utensils, and dishes—everything we needed for a simple and comfortable stay. While there's no running or potable water on-site, a 5-gallon jug for washing was provided, and to our surprise, there was also a large bottle of drinking water waiting in the fridge—such a kind and thoughtful detail. The surrounding farmland makes for a peaceful, restful night with no noise or light pollution—just calm and quiet. Thank you, Timothy, for creating such a lovely space. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay!

Amazing glamping experience! They have really put a lot of thought into providing everything you could need! The beds were comfortable and very warm through the night. It was a very relaxing spot right alongside the river and was an easy site to locate and access! The stairs down to the site are a bit steep if you have mobility concerns but otherwise great spot for young and old! Our children loved the site and it made for easy ‘camping’ with little kids! We will be back :)

I loved this place! Everything is cleaned and well maintained. Especially, I was worried about compose toilet but it was neat! And there was welcome fire on firepit which I really appreciate it. The mattress and bedding is cozy and you will be fall asleep! I recommend this place to stay and I would definitely come again!
