We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

Our stay at a delightful yurt, set in a tranquil environment, was overshadowed by service lapses. Upon arrival, Erin from the management team informed us that our reservation was unrecorded for that date, resulting in a one-hour wait in the dark outside the gate. This inconvenience was compounded when Erin, having forgotten the remote for the pavilion lights, insisted we sign waivers in the dim light of our phones. Additionally, despite instructions that the fire pit would be lit by staff each evening, this was overlooked on our second night. These service shortcomings led us to rate our overall experience as three stars, reflecting the need for improved management to fully complement the yurt’s beautiful setting.

Our yurt at The Reserve at Greenleaf was phenomenal! Big comfortable bed, French press coffee, mini fridge, AC / heating, fast wifi, and an amazing private bathroom.
Jeanne and Bubba were excellent hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed. The pavilion had games for us to play, a fire to sit by, and we used the grills every night for dinner. Bubba walked us through the trail map and we were able to do a great hike along the creek.
Feels like you are truly off the grid without being completely disconnected, and downtown Bastrop is right down the road (plus a Bucc-ees!)
We cannot wait to come have another stay at the Reserve, especially our perfect quaint Copper Lily yurt :)

It was such a wonderful experience. The owners were so sweet and personable.. The amenities were great, having your own bathroom and shower in a campground like area is rare. The grill and hot tub were a plus. We took advantage of the hiking trails, corn hole, and giant jenga, that were available at a beautiful pavilion. So much to do.

We had a great time! It was a peaceful, outdoorsy getaway. We hiked the trails right behind our yurt, drove about 10-15 minutes to a nearby lake to paddle board, roasted s’mores, and drank wine and relaxed in the hot tub. The yurt was so pretty and cozy! Jeanne and Bubba are angels. We’d definitely go back.

The Reserve is a gorgeous property. Plenty of privacy in your cabin and beautiful woods all around. The amenities are very nice, especially the hot tub and fire pit! The hiking trails are unlike any public trails you could find. The woods feel as though they’ve barely been touched. And then you return to the cabin, and the inside feels like a luxury hotel room! Nothing but praises from me! I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

An absolutely amazing stay. The yurts were comfortable, cozy, and stocked with snacks and coffee. The grounds have a wonderful hot tub, gas fireplace, star gazing patio, and much more. There’s miles of hiking trails and the trails are actually marked with flags and signs. The location is really close to Bastrop state park and lake Bastrop. Couldn’t possibly recommend it enough.

The Copper Lily yurt was even more beautiful than pictured. I loved the reserve space- the hot tub, trails, fire pit and common area made for a perfect weekend getaway with my closest friends! I loved the speciality tea, coffees, and soap- everything had a special touch.

The Reserve was the perfect combination of glamping & camping. We usually tent-camp, hike & kayak, but wanted to do something a little more for my birthday.
The site, staff, & amenities, felt so thoughtful and well planned out to create a peaceful, safe, fun & relaxing retreat.
The yurt was beautiful! We loved the super cozy king bed (I’m hunting where to get those soft sheets at home now, Omgosh). The little touches of snacks, coffee, a s’mores kit, & handmade soaps (that smelled amazing).
The deck areas were great to watch the sunsets, and hammock was a perfect reading spot. And relaxing in the hot tub was amazing under the full moon.
The hiking trails were were all well marked and had just enough changes in elevation to feel like we got our exercise in when we had to cancel kayaking due to higher winds that day - we will be back for that tho on our next trip. :)
This was the perfect getaway. Thank you!

The Reserve has everything you need for a relaxing nature experience. Enjoy the great outdoors without sacrificing modern conveniences. Jeanne and Bubba are fantastic hosts and their attention to detail and excellent communication enhanced our weekend in Bastrop. We plan to return!

Peaceful, serene, quiet. All the things I was pleasantly surprised to have were all there and more in very modern digs. The treats were a welcome bonus, the bed was comfy, and the grass was well maintained. Lovely space to inhabit for a weekend. Will be back.

This place is perfect if you want to get away from the city, plenty of outdoor activity. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. Love the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and return. 5 stars.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR THE PERFECT GLAMPING EXPERIENCE. All the things we enjoyed: the hiking trails were great, the yurt is so well designed, the king size bed was super comfortable, the restroom was incredible it felt like were were at a spa, an evening by the fire pit under the stars, mornings on the hammock to enjoy nature and all of its beauty and sounds. The owners thought of all the perfect outdoor amenities. The perfect way to reset. THANK YOU JEANNE AND BUBBA FOR BEING SO GRACIOUS AND WELCOMING. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!

The Reserve is AMAZING. So clean, so private and so much to do nearby. The hosts communicated the entire time which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend getaway.

We had the absolute best stay at The Reserve. The Luxury Yurt was exactly what we were looking for, but I was absolutely blown away by the care that went into the upkeep and all of the ways they made us feel so taken care of. There were so many great touches! The hosts left us so much food, including Milano cookies, fruit, italian soda, a smores kit, and so much more! It was incredible. The actual property was AMAZING... they had a beautiful hiking trail right by the yurt! They had a deck set out for us to play games, like ladderball, and a great deck with a firepit for smores and a hot tub. Could not recommend The Reserve more and we definitely will be back to stay again!

My husband and I along with our toddler absolutely loved our time at green leaf! The owners were so gracious and welcoming. The accommodations were amazing , super comfy bed & the yurt had everything you would need for a glamping experience. We had a lovely time for a little R&R and getting out in nature. This visit certainly won’t be our last!
