Very pretty land within walking distance to the river. The picnic tables and the fire pit are a nice touch and made it comfortable to sit outside.

Superior Experience
Second visit and it was another amazing experience. Lucked out with mid-seventies over New Year’s weekend. Site was perfect and clean. Location right on the water that I was able to kayak in. Issue with power pedestal upon arrival which the owner addressed with priority and was quickly rectified. The owners are fantastic.

This place is so peaceful!
We loved our time here. Super peaceful and quiet. Dead-end road which makes you feel secluded and away from the world. Stars are super bright and sunset on the Brazos River was incredible. Water pressure is HIGH so be sure to use a pressure reducing valve when you hook up to water. A wonderful stay with really awesome hosts.

This was my first Hipcamp trip and it did not disappoint. The site was set up to hook in travel trailer and even had fire wood available for purchase on site. With access to the river, this spot would be great in the summer too.

Great little place to unwind. We had a friend come out for their first trip. They ran into some issues and the host did everything they could to make them comfortable. Laid back place with good people. Highly recommend. We will return.

Site 3 - Big Rocks on the Brazos
Quiet retreat in a beautiful settin
We booked the site on a whim, booking same day. We actually had someone slat the site within 5 minutes of booking due to miscommunication but Becky handled it with grace and ease. When was fast and responsive and helpful.
The site is tucked away from the hustle and is very quiet and peaceful. There are 4 spots, paired in twos. Spots 1 and 2 are close and 3 and 4 are close to each other. All spots are easy walking distance to the river.
The property is very clean, spacious, well maintained, and beautiful. I'd highly recommend it to anybody.

We had an amazing, relaxing time at Becky’s rv site. Like everyone said site 1/2 are close and 3/4 are close to each other. We booked site 1 and it is def the one to get. Waterfront views and just a short walk to the river. Great time and recommend to anyone.

A whole fam in a van
Becky and Ricky provided everything we could have wanted and more. They were so kind and hospitable and didn't mind our two dogs roaming around. Their land is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. Above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much!

Easy camping/ perfect service
My wife and I were welcomed so graciously by Becky. The sites were clean, the river was extremely close, and Becky was the friendliest host we have ever had. A short drive from ft worth, we will definitely be sure to return to the Rocks on the Brazos

My kids conquered the big rocks!
Beautiful spot. Enjoyed the river. The only problem was that the elm tree over the site was dropping sticky sap covered leaves and they were all stuck to the picnic table, etc. the site was quiet and had good electric, water and sewer hookups as advertised. Would definitely come back and next time bring a leaf blower.

My family and I had a great experience at this and place. The owners are very nice and accommodating. With all the recent rain we didn’t get to experience the River but I’m sure other times of year it would be a great spot. If you are looking for a quiet place that is close to Waco this is it!

Weekend Away
Very peaceful place to stay. We stayed in spot three and it is just a short walk to the water. Spot one would probably be the most ideal spot since it is closer to the water. As others have mentioned, spots 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are very close together. I would recommend spots 1 or 3 if you have the option.
Two other spots were booked while we were there but no one was ever at the river at the same time as us (the river is huge so it wouldn’t matter if someone was).
A previous reviewer mentioned leeches which made me nervous but I never encountered any. My husband went morning fishing and ended up with some on his legs but from my understand they aren’t harmful.
This was a great place to stay and I would love to stay in the future.

Had a great time!
Read all the great reviews and totally agree. The place is quiet and peaceful, easy access to the river. We stayed in spot 4 and the owners dogs didn’t bother us at all like some of the reviews said. Surprised to find how full the river was and the water was warm.

Great site
Great host and campsite. Becky was more than accommodating and helpful with our stay. Lovely site and a nice quiet location.
Side note- we did get covered with leeches when in the river which was unfortunate so got out right away. However, another group was in and had no issues whatsoever so we were just unlucky.

Camping by the river
Absolutely loved the scenery. Very quite. My family had a lot of fun hanging out by the water. Waco downtown was not very far from this location either. BBQ grill, picnic tables, and fire pit located at site 1. Plenty of shade at site 1 too. Trees were beautiful. Will definitely visit again soon.

We had a blast at Becky’s Big Rocks on the Brazos! You truly are camping right on/next to the Brazos River and the water is warm enough to swim. Also, Becky was so sweet!
Cell service is pretty spotty, so don’t expect much there. We were in spot #4, which is the furthest from the river (super short walk!) and we had plenty of shade. Dollar General is just a few miles up the road, in case you need anything.
Highly recommend checking out Homestead Heritage and all it has to offer, just a short drive away. Overall, we had a great stay!

Site 3 - Big Rocks on the Brazos
This place is a nice little gem. Host are super nice and the river was beautiful. The spots were clean. Not too much light pollution so we could use our telescope at night. Spots are a little close together but if you are going to just hang out by your camper, this may not be the place for you. The river is truly where it’s at. Easy to kayak up and down the river. Although we didn’t catch any luck with fish on the line, it was fun to get out there.

Site 4 - Big Rocks on the Brazos
Loved our stay in site 4 because no one was in site 3! The campground is set up with two sites grouped together - sites 1 and 2 are very close together and 3 and 4 are very close together. Would be great for groups who want two sites or if you happen to be able to choose site 1 or 3.
We spent 4 hours paddling on the river and it was nice to be able to walk to it right from our site.
We will definitely be back!
