Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. You could even rent the whole campground! $10 pet fee (per pet per night), must be added as an Extra and under 20lbs. All guests must sign online liability waiver before arrival.

Self check in- your reservation reserves any spot but #'s 5 and 8- specific camp spots are first come first pick. Live music the first Saturday of each month (during season). $10 pet fee (per pet per night), must be added as an Extra and under 20lbs. Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. Camper sleeps 5 inside- extra $20 each guest over 2 (including folks visiting for the day). $20 pet fee (per pet per night), must be added as an Extra and under 20lbs. “Camping” in-style! Full RV hook ups are also available and tenters are welcome, for an extra fee. Brazos Rock Camp Kayak web site will give you info including float/river/kayak river shuttles and special events.

Electric Tent Spot by the River
I really enjoyed this spot along a creek feeding the Brazos River that's just a walk away from camp. I was able to take a shower (cold) and charge up my power station. It was quiet, secure, and I stayed for a couple of days. Definitely will return next time I'm in the area!

Don’t be put off by the bumpy road to the property. It’s a lovely riverside (creekside ) location. It was quiet, and we were provided with water, sewer hookup and 30 amp electric. We had some questions and they were answered promptly. Great place for star gazing. We heard owls at night and lots of birdlife during the day. Possibly coyotes or foxes at night down by the creek. 😊. We spent a few hours at the nearby Mineral Springs Fossil Park and found some great fossils! Worth the trip. We are traveling from Maine to California and this campsite was a nice spot to relax for a few days. It’s rural but worth the effort to get there.

We love camping at this site, super private, beautiful, plus Sunshines' service is excellent, always very fast, affectionate, and attentive. The bathroom is always clean and in excellent condition. We will definitely return. I recommend it 100%.

We enjoyed camping beside the creek and having the whole place to ourselves most of the time. I also appreciate that there’s a bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower! The water is cold, but after kayaking I didn’t really mind. The launch point was very difficult to manage, but that might be because the water was low. I loved the fact that a five minute paddle down the creek took us to the Brazos and a beautiful swim beach!

Site 4 - Beautiful RV Spot by the Brazos
I had a wonderful time RV camping on Sunshine's land and found it hard to leave the peace and beauty of her place. If I could I would give her 6 stars for being so gracious, responsive, and generously accommodating. For example, she allowed me to settle in the most scenic campsite next to the creek while I had reserved a less scenic one closer to the road. She gave me great river intel and additional time to enjoy kayaking on the Brazos. The campground and restroom are clean and well maintained. The experience was exceptional! The location is superb given you are out in the country yet close to the town of Mineral Wells (8 miles) and the Lake Mineral Wells State Park, both of which I enjoyed visiting! However, It is the peace of the place I relished most. Thank you again, Sunshine!

Great stay in the Glamper it was clean & comfortable. The site is well kept. Sunshine provided great communication from the reservation to the arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Creekside Campground is beautifully shaded and quiet! At less than an hour from DFW, it's a perfect getaway to relax for a weekend, maybe have a paddling adventure too!

WONDERFUL STAY
Glamper by the River
This place was amazing! We had a blast camping out in the Glamper! Sunshine had the place ready for us and directions and her response was great when we did need help! She even had smores supplies out for us when we arrived! The camper itself was clean and very comfortable. The area was beautiful with lots of green grass, trees, and firewood already chopped for our convenience. The only thing I have to say is that the water access was not what we expected. There is a creek right behind the camper with access to swim, but it is shallow, muddy, and slippery. There is, however, a river access is located adjacent to the property with a much better swimming hole, but getting up and down into the water is a bit sketchy, and I would probably not recommend for young children to do it alone.

Great place to go unwind. Kayaking was a blast with the kids. Owner was great. Only down side was the crazy bus drivers barreling down the road with little regard for pedestrians. (Not affiliated with this camp)

What a beautifully quiet spot to enjoy the weekend! We found a shaded spot for out tent and it was only a few steps away from a clean restroom. The grounds were maintained exquisitely and we were able to run around without our shoes on. We were able to see water at any campsite we would have chosen. We caught fish, enjoyed the sounds of nature and the view of the stars at night were amazing. During the day we took a kayak trip down the river and it was so simple because BRCK did everything for us. We will definitely be back several times this summer.

We really enjoyed our time at Brazos Rock. It is a great secluded spot but with water and electricity even when tent camping. The creek this year was great average was probably chest high with some spots lower and some higher. Annual rainfall will obviously vary the depths. We would love to come back visit again.

We enjoyed our stay in sunshine’s camper ( Hippie Haven.). Thr place was very clean and peaceful. The kids enjoyed swimming in the creek and running around. Thank you Sunshine.

Great place for a relaxing and fun camp trip. Clean bathroom, with indoor and outdoor shower. Sunshine is fantastic, fast response time to all communication. Freshly maintained grass with self service wood available for fires. Imissed the live music on first Saturday of the month, but look forward to catching them next trip. Nearby cities (Watherford and Mineral Wells offer good entertainment options for all walks of life. Two thumbs 👍 👍 way up!

What an absolutely lovely location to stay. We needed some peace and quiet and this was a perfect weekend. The RV was great, host was very responsive to questions and it was overall just a very wonderful stay.

Had a great and relaxing three day trip the Creekside campground . 100 percent would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway. Easy to find , and great location . Bathroom and shower house were clean and well maintained . Our favorite part was the fire pits and relaxing vibes at the end of the night .
