Neil has a great place 30 minutes away from Gatineau! U get plenty of privacy on his property. We've enjoyed the sound of the water crrek at night. There is a wood heater inside the tent so the temperature was not too cold in mid october. There is a grocery store 5 min from the camp.... Very convinient. Would recommend!

Super cozy getaway. My partner and I really enjoyed the sauna and exploring the river. Bike path is very close by.

This is a sweet little spot. The waterfall and river are epic. Loved relaxing in the comfortable hammock too. The glamping tent is spacious and well kept with a comfortable bed and all the extra bedding one might need. It’s nice to have the shaded outdoor sitting area that’s screened in. We did not use the sauna, but the shower is ice cold- just a heads up- no warm water. The tap water is excellent drinking water. The compost toilet situation is about what you’d expect- definitely no frills. While the fridge and laundry did not work at the time we were there, Neil was accommodating by providing daily ice and offering his machine. He was very responsive to all communication and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Meech Creek Falls is our new favourite getaway! Neal is a wonderful host, very friendly with a detailed tour to help us feel at home and make best use of the space. Very private and quiet, with amenities that are as creative and charming as they are convenient. We loved how easy it was to spend almost every moment out of doors enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This is a setup where you won't have to worry too much about the weather, as it would be quite adaptable to different conditions. The waterfall is not just beautiful but tons of fun to climb and explore, with a few great spots to wade in for a swim and sunny banks to rest on. Tent was cozy and clean with a comfortable mattress. Sleeping to the noise of the falls cannot be beat. We will be back for sure!

Very nice place quiet just love the sound of the falls in the creek nice yurt lot of room inside big gazebo Neal show us everything very friendly and sauna very nice very good place to relax with the falls just behind you sleep like a baby bicycle path 2 min away kayak 2 min away on the Gatineau river nice little camp fire a night awnsome place wiil go back again

Meech Creek Falls
Had such a wonderful glamping trip here with my son and puppy! The site had everything we needed, it’s clear how much care and love has gone into creating and maintaining this beautiful place. The sound of the creek running by all day and night was soo peaceful, and we all slept very well. There’s also lots to do in the area, making it a perfect little getaway when you want to escape the city without going too far. Ten out of ten recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and memorable stay!

Neal is a really great host and made this whole experience worth coming to. The campsite was exactly what we were looking for. It's perfect if you just want to relax and connect with mother nature and destress away from everyday life. Definitely recommend to everyone. My husband and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish and plan on coming back. Might just be our new favorite vacation spot

We loved the whole experience from start to finish. Neal was an amazing host who made sure anything we would have needed was already there for us and everything was beautiful. The sauna was the perfect relaxing along with the view and sound of the falls. It was really great along with the outdoor kitchen and even a woodstove for those chilly mornings/ nights was a very nice touch, 20/10 would recommend for anyone who is looking to decompress from the work week and relax all while having a grocery store and gas station within 3 minute drive to make good use of the kitchen outdoors, anyways we had a great time thanks for having us!!!

What a beautiful little nook! Right beside a private waterfall, which you can wade in if you chose, the accommodation feels private and homey. At night, we watched the stars, while drinking a glass or two of wine, and listening to the rushing falls of Meech Creek. We also took advantage of the on-site sauna, cold shower, and hammock, which were so relaxing after biking 40 km from the city.
Neal was kind enough to let us borrow the canoe, which we portaged (on wheels) over to the Gatineau River, which is gorgeous now with the fall colours, for a few hours of paddling.
Overall, the accommodation is nicer than pictured, and has all things listed on the description. We'd love to return & would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing glamping experience in between Chelsea and Wakefield, QC!

A little slice of heaven! The rushing water acted like a white noise machine, and with that mattress, I don't think I've ever slept so well in my life. Neal was super kind and helpful, and the space clearly reflected the pride he has in it. 10/10, will be back again.

Excellent stay ! Unfortunately we didn’t have the greatest weather but having the outdoor living area to sit and relax during the rain made all the difference! Neil was a great host . Didn’t get to enjoy the waterfall to much just due to rain and rushing waters a little dangerous but will be back another time to enjoy them! Thanks Neil !

This is our second year staying here and it was just as relaxing and magical as before.
THe outdoor kitchen has everything you need to cook, the metal gazebo was perfect for keeping us covered one day while it rained, and the yurt was comfortable with additional blankets easily accessible.
The waterfalls off the back of the property are the perfect way to relax and bathe in, providing white noise for seamless sleeping.
It’s easily accessible to the grocery store, SAQ, and Gatineau trails - the perfect glamping reset,
We will be back again and again!

Truly unbelievable! We spend the hot, sunny weekend cooling off playing in the creek, and taking in the view of the waterfalls. The water truly does feel like a massage when you situate yourself in the right spot! The amenities such as the outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, sauna, hammock, and propane fireplace were such nice additions, and we were truly impressed by the craftsmanship of it all. The site was clean and felt completely secluded, and we had the best sleep of our lives with the sound of the rushing water in the background. Neil was great, and is so generous to share this piece of paradise with others. Will definitely be back!

The location is very convenient. There are stores and restaurants nearby but the camp is very quiet and privately tucked away in a beautiful piece of property. There is everything you need to camp, just bring clothes and food. The waterfall is gorgeous. Neal is very kind and helpful.

Neal was a very attentive and easy to work with host. His site is beautiful with easy access to Meech Creek Falls. You can hear the falls from the tent. The tent is well appointed with a nice bed for two and sitting area. I would recommend this location based on both the hosts hospitality and campsite itself. Great time. Thanks

The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of the waterfall was by far the best part. It felt like nature’s own bedtime story, putting me at ease each night.
The accommodations were cozy and had everything I needed, making it easy to unwind and disconnect from the world. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a refreshing change of pace.

Being just off the trail going in to Wakefield it was a perfect destination to cycle to! It felt like a private little oasis with the convenience of being super close to grocery stores and restaurants if needed. Will definitely be back!

Meech Creek Falls
Myself and a friend spent 2 nights on Neil’s beautiful property with my dog.
Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect.
Comfy queen sized bed in the very spacious yurt, everything you need to cook with, and wash dishes.
I went for many dips in the creek/waterfall then enjoyed the sauna.
The creek/waterfall was definitely my favourite part, it was so peaceful and relaxing.
Neal is a very kind and generous host, I definitely recommend his little paradise to everyone, don’t hesitate to book your stay!
We can’t wait to visit again!

Private, beautiful creek, all the kitchen supplies you would need, romantic vibes, and the sound of the rushing creek is very nice. The Gatineau river is a 10 mins walk away and very nice to swim in!

I loved Neal's beautiful property with a big tent, with a queen size bed, gazebo with an outdoor living area, outdoor kitchen with a bbq and a camping stove. All this right beside running water/waterfalls, which your could hear as you fell asleep at night. During the day, we swam in the waterfalls and then used Neal's sauna and outdoor shower, relaxing spa in nature experience. Neal is a wonderful host, very friendly and super accommodating! I recommend his land 1000%

Meech Creek Falls is my new go-to-oasis! I was here for 4 days with my pup, and we both enjoyed the glamping amenities offered by Neals property.
Walk through the door separating host from oasis opens you up to the white noise from the creek falls, birds chirping, and the hustle and bustle of life slips away.
There is a permanent gazebo with curtains to pull on all sides for privacy or weather protection, outdoor seating, and table to dine or craft upon. There is an outdoor kitchen with working sink (and potable water!), all the kitchen cooking tools required, a BBQ, and Coleman stove.
Next up are the propane firepit or outdoor wood stove for nighttime ambiance, which overlook the permanently hung hammock (overlooking the creek rapids), and the small hill down to the creek for a soak, or just enjoying more of the ambiance.
The accommodations also include a large set up pole tent (between a yurt and tent) which even tall people can stand fully up in. There is a Queen sized bed with real mattress (so comfy), side tables (one includes a checkers/chess/backgammon board when you pull out the drawers), and more seating. battery and solar powered lights keep the nightlife going until you fall asleep to the flow of the rapids.
Minutes away from groceries and other ammenities, 10-20 minutes from all the main Gatineau Trail park entrances, and steps away from the Gatineau River trail system.
Kudos to Neal and family for hosting such a delightful oasis!

tent and furniture inside was comfortable and cozy; we had all the supplies we needed including sauna and shower.

What a beautiful experience! Neal is an amazing host and very easy to connect with. The property is absolutely breath-taking. Even though there are so many neat things to do in the area we did not leave. Besides the gorgeous waterfall, the super comfy yurt, all the very convenient amenities and total privacy my favourote part was the French press and coffee :) Honestly, we can't wait to come back again, likely next summer if not sooner. Thanks so much Neal!
