The campsite was very nice and we had a beautiful sunrise.
The host was very nice and provided great directions even though we arrive past dark to set up.
The bathrooms were a little rough for us and preferred to use the porta potty instead.

Our family loved it. The quarry pond was way colder than expected but looks so clean and worth the freeze. Goats and chickens do roam but have their preferred spot, so you know where to find them.
Not very private, you can see and hear all your neighbours, but the couple that run the place are nice!

I loved camping here, it was quiet and the fishing was really good for a qaury. Goats were friendly, and it was fun seeing them all roam around.

Great fun, accommodating staff very friendly.
Goats were a real hit with kids, very friendly and a new experience.wahrooms were very clean and vety acssesible. The quarry was great fun for kids, very clean water for swimming and fishing was fun also.
Would recommend it for a fun camping experience.😃

No hay para vaciar los depositos de agua sucia. Tampoco conexion electrica y agua limpia. No usamos ningun servicio mas, la apariencia no invitaba a usarlos, lo positivo...dueños muy majos y por la mañana habia cabras y galinas sueltas.

We loved Camping at the Kountry Corner. If your looking to get back to basics then this is the place for you. Our site was the Easy camp which has a large sturdy tent already on it, which worked so well when you bring two little ones and don't want the extra hassle of putting up your own. It was very clean and the fact it had a queen size mattress in it already was a huge bonus. Ian's land is beautiful and the quarry, well i have never seen such clear clean water. The kids as well as us loved hanging with the goats and chickens. Never a dull moment with the wild life either. Ian and Kim were amazing hosts and were very helpful if you needed anything. So if your looking for a place to just relax and unplug from the norm I highly recommend staying here. We loved it and can't wait to return. Thanks again Ian and Kim.

We enjoyed the stay. The communication was easy and they responded quicky. The quarry Lake is very nice and the stars gazing was amazing. The tent sites are common and closed to each others as conventional camphround. We woke up with rooster crowing and a lot of trains during the night, but I personally like it.

Our family had a great time here! Ian is very helpful, and you can ask him for anything. The pond is gorgeous and clean. Paddle boat, kid size kayak, rolling boats are all for free to enjoy. Rooster greeting you every morning and goats are not shy or aggressive with kids. Outdoor shower is fun at night. Maybe next time will try the one with glam tent. Love this place.

Very easygoing and relaxing spot. The quarry is really nice for swimming and fishing. Great spot to go with other families, as there are not too many sites in total (whole place to yourselves!). It’s not bougie at all so set your expectations properly and you’ll love it!

Ian was a super welcoming host who made check-in and check-out as easy as humanly possible. It’s a peaceful environment with good-sized campsites. Plus there’s friendly goats hanging around as a bonus.

Amazing lakeside getaway! 🌅🐾
The lake is absolutely stunning – super clear, clean, and not cold at all 💦. It’s perfect for a refreshing swim. The views are beautiful and peaceful 🌲. Hot showers were a big plus 🚿, and the lake is just a 4-minute walk from the campsite 🚶♀️.
The host was incredibly kind and accommodating 😊. The goats were super friendly 🐐, and the chickens/rooster kept their distance 🐓, which was great.
It’s also very pet-friendly 🐶 – our dogs had an amazing time! Even though they need to be on a leash, they enjoyed every minute of it.
The only small downside was the train passing by during the night 🚂 – not something that can be controlled, but honestly, it’s quickly forgotten w

My sister, my nieces and I had such a great time Kountry Korner! Our site was private and spacious and Ian was a great host going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! Not very many mosquitoes which was such a plus, lots of fireflies at night ! The quarry was clean and warm and the free kayaks were so much fun! Also lots of wildlife at the quarry, including frogs, toads and a beautiful white heron. The goats (Shorty, Paint, Frank, Fred, Barney and Mj) were our favourite part, friendliest goats we ever met - lots of goat cuddles were had this weekend ! The drop toilets and the flush toilets were vert clean and readily available. Firewood was delivered right to our site and both staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Answering all of our questions (mostly about the goats) We will definitely go back next year and are going to make this a yearly trip! 10 out of 10!!

Vraiment cool d’avoir les chèvres parmis nous, la place est belle mais le train fait en sorte qu’on a du mal à dormir car il passe vraiment souvent.

Ian and family are extremely welcoming and super friendly. Our family had an amazing time on the land for a weekend getaway. Only 5 minutes from home but felt like a million miles.
The area feels secluded and the quarry offers endless hours of entertainment. Some fish to entertain in the early hours, the goats and chickens where super friendly also and added to the experience. We will certainly be back for many trips to come!

Overall ok experience, wasn't for us. There was clutter (old trailers, scrap wood, brick, motor oil container) around the proprety that impaired for us the feeling of being in nature. We feel that there was not much privacy and it was close to others tents. The toilets were ok but didn't seemed like they were cleaned everyday. The soap dispenser was empty and wasn't filled the entire time we were there which was a bummer. It seemed it smelled of marijuana coming from the owner cabin on one night and its close to the railway so you hear the trains at night. The owner did seem nice. The quarry was huge and the animals were super cute. Other than the train it was really quiet and the firefly at night made it magical.

Me and my girls rented it for three nights and it was so fun! The owner is such a sweetheart, sites are clean, bathroom and shower too! Even the blue johns were the cleanest I have ever seen. The animals are sweet and super approachable we absolutely loved our time and would definitely come again!

The place was nice and cool, the washrooms were clean, there is a lake nearby 5-10mins walk. my group and I had a wonderful time staying for 4days and 3 nights and Ian the owner and his family are wonderful, helpful and very understanding.

I had a great time with my family. Owners are super friendly. Very relaxed and quiet area. The quarrel was perfect for fishing and swimming. We caught a HUGE fish off the doc and my 6 year old was so happy.

We had a lovely experience camping here. Ian was a kind and attentive host who made our stay more pleasant with his helpfulness and warm attitude.
Pros:
• Friendly animals roaming freely, including chickens and goats! our daughter was absolutely fascinated!
• A beautiful quarry nearby, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
• Decent facilities, including clean washrooms, a shower, and a sink area to wash food containers or fill water.
• Just an hour’s drive to Sandbanks, one of Ontario’s most famous and beautiful beaches.
• Warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the host.
Cons:
• The campsite is close to a train track, so we could hear trains passing throughout the night, which might be a concern for light sleepers.
