If I could give Stone Oaks Farm 30 out of 10, I would! I had a wonderful stay at Stephany's farm (during the winter, too! When most Hipcamp spots are closed!) Stephany was so friendly, responsive, and welcoming - she really set the standard for Hipcamp experiences (this was my first one and Stephany went above and beyond any expectations!) Absolutely love that it's a dog-friendly space (my dogs got to meet their horses and duck! Omgosh, my heart!) I'll never forget this experience and Stephany's generosity and kindness. There needs to be more people like this in the world. Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended this place to other campers, roadtrippers, and animal lovers! Thank you, Stephany! (And Amy for the lovely tour of the farm!)

Our stay on Stephany’s land was fantastic! It’s a great little trailer for smaller families or couples. Provided everything we needed for a comfortable night. While our stay was short and we weren’t personally able to take advantage, Stephany did offer a tour of the farm, as well as a small store on location as well. If you’re on the fence about booking, just do it! Strongly recommend

Being able to interact with farm animals was the main reason why we made the 4-5 hour drive from Ottawa. Another reason is, Stephany's land is dog friendly. The land was huge and we appreciate the tour on arrival. It's especially beautiful in the morning with the wet grass and mist over the land. Very happy to be able to walk around the farm not strictly supervised. Griff, goat and Porky were the highlight of our stay. Full of character and very funny. Their dogs are great too. Fresh farm eggs in the morning was a bonus.

Nice spot. Easy to get in and out. Very helpful setting up water and electricity. Enjoyed the farm tour (especially Gryffindor the goat) and fresh eggs we received upon arrival. Thanks for a great stay!

Stephany and family were very welcoming. They took our animal living daughter on a tour of the farm, brought us fresh eggs, and checked in on us during our stay. The property is beautiful and quiet. We hope to visit again to explore the trails.

Friendly hosts, beautiful farm, and fresh eggs! Trails out back that were fun to explore - they were a bit longer than I realized though, but no harm done! Would most definitely stay here again.

Just wow! Stephany was amazing and incredibly accommodating! She gave us a tour of their farm and answered all our excited questions of their farm life. She even gave us some yummy farm eggs and veggies from their garden. My grandmother has some mobility issues and uses a walker, but she was able to get into the trailer and walk around the farm with my assistance no problem. One thing to keep in mind - the fire pit is shared with their family. It was lovely chatting with their family and friends over the fire but it is something to keep in mind in case you wanted something more low key. We also brought my dog and she had a great time seeing all the farm animals. Thanks so much for the great experience Stephany!

Stone Oaks Farm & Sanctuary is a wonderful haven to camp at. Stephany’s RV is clean, modern, and spacious. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs and breakfast sausages. Steph and her family even gave us a farm tour and pony rides for the kids! There was a public beach 15 mins drive from the farm that our family of 6 enjoyed, too.

My family and I have been visiting stephanys farm since last couple of years, and everytime its an amazing experience. The trailer is very spacious and more than enough for our family of 4. My kids love the farm tour and meeting all the friendly animals, specially the pony ride. Stephany goes above and beyond with providing us an amazing experience of farm life. Visiting stone oaks farm is a treat everytime, it is such a nice break from city life. Definitely recommend everyone to visit this farm.

Stephany is an amazing host, very welcoming and dedicated with such a wonderful family. Her, her husband, her daughters, also Maggie the beautiful lady are very accommodating and pleasant to be around. My family and I had to wonderful time and were extremely comfortable. We went horse riding, visited the farm, barbecued - the hipcamping experience was incredible and I’d recommend it to everyone! Thanks Stephany for such a wonderful time!

Stephany and her family are so welcoming and kind. They have a beautiful farm with quirky animals. Gryffindor (Griffy goat) was our favourite. He follows you around like a puppy. It was our first time in an RV and we loved it, it was a wonderful place to go and just get away from the city. We forgot to bring our fishing gear as they have a beautiful lake nearby but it was still great to just sit by the water. We loved it.

- [ ] We stayed at Stephany and Yves’s farm for a night and we had the greatest time! The views are wonderful and we loved being around the super friendly farm animals. Stephany gave us a tour of the farm, showed us the hiking trails, and even offered us a dozen of fresh farm eggs that we ate for breakfast! The trailer we stayed at was very clean and fully furnished, we lit up a fire at night with the available wood and grilled some marshmallows :) There’s also a gas BBQ available with a picnic table to sit outside. Overall, our short stay was amazing and relaxing away from the city was definitely needed. The hosts are great and very welcoming, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially families with young kids!!

Wow! What a wonderful and magical experience. The host and her family were so kind and welcoming, also very professional and easy to communicate with. My kids had the absolute best time with the horses, goat, bunny, pigs, chicken and just running around and being surrounded by absolutely beautiful land. Stephany is a wonderful, kind and patient teacher. She let my daughter do the rounds and feed all the animals with her in the morning. A true farm experience! She also gave her a mini horse riding lesson too. My son who is 2 also went for a ride. Indoor arena so they can go in any weather. We are so so so grateful for this experience and can’t say enough good things about it all. Thank you Stephany and family!!

Stone Oaks Farm is truly an animal/horse lovers paradise. The hosts were so kind, and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The travel trailer sits overlooking the expansive 125 acres, in a private corner of the farm. It comes with a bbq, picnic table, and inside the trailer was a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bunkbeds, a/c and heat, dining area and sofa, and 3 piece bath with hot and cold water. We were free to roam the property and visit the many farm animals who were all very curious to meet us as well. There is a lovely hiking/horse trail throughout the property which leads to a gorgeous pond. The rolling hills are filled with horses, and they even offer pony rides for children. This experience was exactly what we needed to relax, unwind and enjoy this unique camping experience in such a beautiful farm setting. We can't wait to return!

Welcoming from start to finish; inviting us into farm life without being intrusive. The trailer was well equipped and we loved the fire pit and hiking trails. Just a few minutes to groceries, gas, LCBO, and a boat launch with ample parking. Venture another 5 to 10 minutes and you'll find beaches, splash parks, chip trucks and ice cream stands.
We can't wait to book our next visit.
