We didn't end up going to the location after booking it for a night because of snow but Nancy was flexible enough to provide us refund. She from her own told us its ok if you don't come over even on the day of the booking. This shows that she has some values. We will try and go over to her location anytime soon. Nancy is a great host.

Lovely site out the back. The driveway is just that, a driveway, but the other spot is lovely and the hosts are just great. Beautiful trails right from the site. I loved it.

Sounds of acorns falling from trees
Great cozy place to crash. As close as it gets to a backcountry experience!
The owners are wonderful people. They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.
45 min from mississauga, walking distance from the Bruce Trail, and 30 min from Kelso / Hilton Falls.
Why would you want to stay somewhere else?!?

We enjoyed camping at Camp & Nancy site! What a beautiful souls they both have. We definetly recommend their place. It's a peace of heaven surrounded by nature.

Camped in our small trailer with two dogs, great location feels far away from city- hosts are so welcoming and have well thought out space for campers. Great access to Bruce trail, starry nights, and all the sounds of the forest. Hosts went above and beyond helping us figure some things out with the camper. Enjoyed morning coffee, campfire and visiting with Kemp and Nancy.

I was looking for an easy, low stakes single night of camping along with two solid days of hiking with my 10 year old daughter. This place was perfect, nice camp site (only 1 I'm pretty sure!) and you can drive on the lawn to the site, so you can pack "heavy". Best of all there is a trail right next to the camp site that takes you direct to the Bruce trail via Roberts Side Trail, in like 10 mins you're on the Bruce. Outstanding hikes, lots of loops, our fav was hiking up Silver Creek. Nancy and her partner (name slips me despite him being super nice/friendly) were both great, accomodating, and helpful yet gave us plenty of space. Def recommend!

Nancy's place is absolutely beautiful with their charming heritage stone house and a lovely garden. The campsite sits in a spacious yard with a small trail that winds around a pond. Our dogs had a fun time exploring there, and we enjoyed a relaxing time by the campfire. The Silver Creek trail is just a short walk from the site. We will come back to their place to see the autumn season! Highly recommended!

Nancy & Kemp have 7 gorgeous acres of woods and trails- it’s what you always hope a campsite will be but rarely is. Both are such kind, generous people who go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience possible. Amply green tent space, lots of firewood, a camp toilet, and water to refill your bottles. Their own personal path that connects to the Bruce Trail is just icing on the cake. My pup loved it, and we slept soundly both nights. There’s enough to do and see in the area that could keep you busy for a long time. They offer great suggestions whatever your interests may be. My new #1 Hipcamp experience!

I loved the space behind their home - a lot of open space with plenty of room to hang out and there’s a direct walking path to the Bruce Trail right from their property! I highly recommend their camping space!

Lovely spot in the forest near pond
Hipcamp website seems to have a glitch, it says "write an honest review ... required to submit your low rating" - but it's not giving me any opportunity to give an actual rating. I'd give it 4/5, Nancy and Kemp were welcoming hosts and their property is beautiful. Some of the amenities common at a campground would be nice for the price - a solid enclosure/shed for the bucket toilet so there's less worry about it falling over or getting insect bites while using it, and a running water tap (garden hose?) instead of a jug. Remember to bring earplugs and plenty of bug spray as the frogs in the pond are plentiful and the insect population is very healthy.

My first winter camp was a success. I was in touch with Nancy prior to my trip to ensure I was prepared, directions were clear and response time was appropriate. On arrival I met with Kemp, he showed me around, gave me a map and supplied me with sufficient firewood to stay warm. Kemp and Nancy were flexible with check in and check out times. Overall I had a great experience, I learned a lot and I look forward to doing it again. Thank you for your hospitality and thank you for the fresh brew of coffee.

It’s a wonderful spot near the Bruce Trail and an excellent choice for through-hikers. I’ve stayed here 3 times and still haven’t walked all the side trails nearby. Nancy and her husband go well out of their way to make sure I have everything I need. I will be back again.

Everything went pretty great! Nancy and Walter were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The land was beautiful and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot for camping. They provided plenty of wood for the fireplace, which made for cozy evenings, and the ride on Walter’s lawn tractor was a fun and unique experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with friendly hosts, this is the place to be! Thank you so much.

We really enjoyed our experience! The host was so lovely and kind, and really made us feel so welcome. It rained while we were there, and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The space was so beautiful and peaceful, it was a real oasis away from the city.
