Log cabin on 400 acres of private land, with hiking trails, lots of ponds and beautiful pines in the canadian shield. Great for hikes, atv, hunting in season lakes close by, lots of privacy! Private sauna, firepit, comfortable for 4 but does sleep 8 well. Cozy cabin, firewood included. 2 km off the main road! Will need 4x4, atv or backpack in.Enjoy our cabin on 400 acres in the Canadian shield! 50 km. North of kingston ON near Tamworth, ON. Cabin is 2 km off the main road so 4 wheel drive is needed or many choose to backpack in for the peace, quiet and complete privacy. Trails for hiking, skiing, atv or snowmobiling. Or just relax by the water and fire up the wood fired sauna and enjoy the beauty of nature and wild life. It is completely off grid so generator powered with some solar backup. Compost toilet and outhouse of course! 2 night minimum stay.

Colleen and her Husband were very hospitable and helpful with showing us around the cabin and the land. The cabin was beautiful and the surrounding land is great for hiking, even in the winter. The sauna was one of the best (and hottest) we’ve ever been in. The cabin itself was so nice and cozy!

This is a wonderful place if you love a rustic cabin experience. The cabin is beautiful, it was decorated so nice and we were always noticing something we hadn’t seen before. We all had such a great time. The dog enjoyed roaming around investigating and paddling on the pond was so peaceful. If you are looking to get away from everything and get back into nature this is the most peaceful spot! The hosts were wonderful and so helpful, would love to come back!

I loved spending the weekend at Collen’s cabin. The cabin is very cozy, very private, deep into the wood, and has a nice off road trail to get there. Me and my friend would definitely come back. I really recommend this place!!
