It's a little oasis tucked in just minutes from town. My husband caught and released 4 bass but there is a variety of fish in this tiny lake. We sat out at night with our own firepit that we brought and looked up at the stars all night. There is a porta potty on site but you would be more comfortable with a self contained unit if you have the means. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us, we will be returning👌

Loved the view on the lake, very dog friendly site and hosts attentive to your needs. If you love fishing you will enjoy your time, plenty of fish in the lake. Directions were very clear. The only con is that there is an airport near by and you can hear planes and helicopters. Everything else was perfect

Loved our time at Marco’s place. The lake was amazing to swim in after a hot day. It is quiet and secluded, just what one needs when disconnecting from the fast pace of life. No power or water. Bring your drinking water 🥰

Very nice place. Beautiful lake and alot of space. We went there in order to go to the tulips festival, Ottawa. It was just wow! It is not a camping with all services, but it is just great. You need to be self contained. The land us well kept and the people there are nice. A place to go without any doubt.

Very nice place. A great view on the lake. Much more than expected. We recommand the place. We visited Ottawa during our stay. We will come back. The village of Carp is just beautiful with nice café. Very quiet.

Even though the hosts plowed the camping site for our arrival, we got stuck in the snow due to our little experience with driving a RV. The host came to help us get out, he was really nice and we really do appreciate the effort he made into helping us! The camping site was beautiful and well prepared for our arrival.

What a beautiful slice of hidden heaven literally within 10 minutes of Kanata. Where else can you find your own lakefront spot so close to a big city. The owners are fabulous too! Bring your kayak and guitar and enjoy the peaceful serenity. We will be back Marcie 👍❤️

We loved it! Perfect area. Water was clear, beach was beautiful. So close to our trailer. Neighbours were spread out so lots of privacy, hosts were very responsive and super helpful with any of our needs. The views on the water the sunset were extraordinary. Would love to come back here again. Close to stores & gas stations.

Beautiful cold lake with sand beach for swimming and dipping into. Camping is dispersed along one side of the lake. Minimal privacy if all 10 spots are taken. I camped with one other on the property and often had people near swimming…mostly due to long term renters who live on his lake also. No one walked through my space but if you are looking for remote this is not for you. The host is super friendly yet not intrusive. Property is 10 min from two different Tim Hortons😅 so plenty of civilization close by if you need it. I would definitely camp there again.

Waterfront Farmstay Loft 6
This was a beautiful spot, we loved the loft and scenery. They provided fun items to use in the lake and most of the housing needs. I think my only wish would’ve been a couple basic things were needed to us that we felt could’ve been provided. This being only hand/dish soap and some cleaner or cloths we weren’t able to find much inside to clean up. With that being said it was still very fun and nice and they truly were great and kind hosts we will for sure be returning.

Waterfront Farmstay Loft 6
We loved the lake, the peace and quiet as well. The owners are lovely and very nice people to talk to. The Loft was spacious and had everything we needed for a pleasent stay. Very close to the stores if we needed anything. All in all, we loved the place. We will ho back for sure. Thank you for having us marcie and Marco :) See you next year for sure
