Loved camping here! Surrounded by nature. It's peaceful and you don't get disturbed by anyone. Completely private and away from city. Low bugs, tons of open space. Can't wait to go back!

Had a really great time. The trails were super well kept. Great spot for star viewing. Firewood was fantastic and abundant. Only minor thing I would note is that you can hear quite a bit of cars going by from the nearby road. It would take me out of it at times but it died down a lot during the night. Overall, a great private spot that my husband and I are looking forward to revisiting!

We had an amazing time staying by the creek! Such an amazing and beautiful place to spend some time. The trails are so nice as well, we had a great time hiking around and enjoying the open space and the peace and quiet. Would definitely like to return and stay longer next time!

We loved the camping spot. Very quite and private. You can hear a lot of wild life at night which is awesome. During our stay we were lucky enough to see a raccoon on the tree and a deer crossing the road just 2 min from the campsite.
We had our dog with us and this was one of the happiest day in her life, she loved the creek and spent there 70% of the time.
Area is also very well maintained, good mix of area in the shade and on the sun. And yes, mosquitos are eating you, but compared to other places we've been to recently - they are not very aggressive here.
Generally we loved it - recommend.

We had a great stay, really enjoyed the location! The firestarter and wood we needed for the fire was available, and the picnic table and chairs were a nice touch. The fireflies were awesome in June and the trees by the stream were perfect to sleep under. Would definitely return to this site again to finish exploring the hiking trails around the property!

Babbling Brook in the Forest
This was our first time camping as a family, and our girls, 6 and 3, had such a fun time exploring the trails and creek. We especially loved how the meadow was filled with fireflies at dusk. It was magical!

Felt very much like we were in someone’s yard. I was disappointed as all the reviews said total privacy and the pictures looked beautiful! But it was way smaller then expected, could see multiple houses and all the green grass and bushes was cut down so felt like a lawn. On the other hand the ‘trails’ were cut very short as half the property was overgrown and not taken care of (fallen trees, too tall grass and no signs) We also had a lady and two kids come down as we were drinking and smoking 🍃 which felt inappropriate. I also feel miss led as the ad says $50 a night but my total with only two nights was $600 as it’s $50 per PERSON per night.

Matt's campsite is a 10 out of 10 stay. It's very private with lots of land to explore. The wildlife and birds are amazing! This is also a great spot to bring your puppers so they can run off leash. Thanks Matt for being such a great steward of the land. We'll definitely be back. 😃

My dog and I loved this property so much! We had no trouble finding the entrance thanks to the excellent directions including a photo. Matt also sent us a history of the property with native plants and wildlife we might see and a map of the trails. That was a special touch. It’s very private and relaxing with lovely little hiking trails that are well marked. We even saw some wild turkeys in the woods and heard coyotes the second night! Matt was very friendly and came down to check on us when we heard some gun shots from the neighbour. It didn’t last long and my dog didn’t seem too upset about it but it was very thoughtful of Matt to make sure we were still happy. The property is clean and tidy with homemade benches along the trails and by the fire pit. This is the perfect place to get away from the city without having to drive hours on the highway to get there.

we loved camping here! It was the perfect escape from the busy city, the property is gorgeous! The trails were such an added bonus with this stay, our dogs had a blast. We are already planning our next trip back! Thank you can’t say enough about how happy we are to have found this spot :)

Beautiful location - close enough to a city to get the essentials but far enough away to be in nature. Matt and his family were so kind and responsive. We couldn't say enough nice things about this site and the hosts!

Some friends and I went camping on Matt’s land! It was beautiful to be so close to the flower field :) I recommend! I was able to buy wood and fire starter at the time of purchase for my stay and that was very convenient. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into the property. I would definitely go back! It felt private and the right kind of vibe for old friends catching up around the fire.

Matt's land was simply stunning and wonderful. It's very spacious, well kept, has a open space surrounded by a canopy of tall trees. A perfect spot to relax and unwind. We stayed only one night and wished we had more time. Matt was also very reponsive and informative during our stay. Definitely recommend to anyone!

This was my second stay here and, once again, didn't disappoint! Love the privacy and space this site has to offer. Goldenrod and other wildflowers in full bloom to offer great views. Matt is a welcoming and accomodating host. Great spot. Definitely recommend!

Matt’s wildflower camp site was great ! Very private, lots of space and areas to explore . Very quiet and peaceful at night, with amazing night sounds of owls and coyotes in the distance . The puppy loved exploring the trails and creek. Would recommend and go back again. Host Matt was super friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking .

We really loved our camping experience here! The area was much bigger than expected and super private, too. Matt made it so easy with clear directions and enough firewood waiting for us when we got there (easily e-transfer to pay for it). He also gave us really interesting information about the property, including the history, birds, wildlife, trees, and flowers! Perfect place for stargazing, exploring in the woods with our dog, and a quiet weekend away from the city. Definitely recommend!!

This was me and my fiancé’s first time renting a campsite on a platform like this and it was perfect for us. Private, with fun stuff to do in the immediate area like the hiking trails & blackberries to pick (which were so sweet). The whole camp site is very well situated, and there’s many choices of where you put your tent which I loved. I brought a thermacell for bugs and we got like 3 bites at the most. Highly recommend this place! We were very sad to leave.

Our stay at matt’s camping site was truly memorable. Tucked away in pristine wilderness, the site offered spacious pitches with fire pits, an essential toilet, and trails that led to stunning vistas. The nearby creek added a serene ambiance. What made our experience exceptional was the warm hospitality of the host he was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive, ensuring our comfort and made it a special experience and helped us a lot We can't wait to return to this perfect blend of natural beauty and hospitality.

Matt's wildflower field + camp site are a very creative + beautiful place to be. One of the places to put your tent is sheltered underneath a collection of large pine trees, making the ground soft + the sleeping area quiet. The field + grounds are very relaxing + provide lots of options for where to relax + walk about. If you like both privacy + beauty off the beaten path this is a great place to stay.
