Beautiful cabin among the cedars
We loved our stay here. It is a very quaint, beautiful, and unique little gem. We were greeted by Sarah and Mike upon our arrival and they led us to the back of their property. We took a path surrounded by wildflowers and grasses and parked near the outhouse. The rest of the path was on foot, about 100 feet, towards the cabin. It’s a really fun “secret path” that feels quite magical. The path has Edison bulbs alongside it that can be turned on using the generator that is provided. At the end of the path is a clearing in a beautiful cedar forest. The cabin is fairly new and nicely furnished with comfy furniture, a coffee table, dining table and chairs, lots of cozy blankets and a few cupboards. There was fresh drinking water, as well as water for washing dishes. Upstairs in the loft are two comfy queen beds with beautiful quilts. All we needed to bring were pillows for bedding. We brought cast iron pans, and all of our own dishes and silverware and cups. There is a grill on the fire pit which is all we used for cooking and coffee etc. There is propane available for an extra cost but we were fine just using the fire for cooking.
The house cannot be seen from the cabin. Its a really nice quiet spot. We heard coyotes both nights we were here. The provided firewood was really good quality. Nice and dry and lots of it. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They suggested some nearby beaches and we were able to borrow a corkscrew when needed. We’d lo to come back again!
