The campsite is located on a 6th generation farm where we have Angus cattle, chickens, vegetable and flower gardens and lots of space to enjoy nature. Campers can enjoy lovely views of the farm, take nature walks on the private trails and enjoy seeing the farm animals. We also offer farm tours to guests so they can see how a small farm operation works. We are located in New Ross, 1 hour from Halifax, and the community also offers many activities to do like explore Ross Farm Museum or enjoy one of the many trails. The farm also offers a lovely event space under a post and beam pavilion that was erected in 2018. The building is used for workshops and events but is also the site for camping. The building is covered and has lights for in the evening as well as a firepit. Tenting can be done on the gravel or lawn around the building.Nestled within the picturesque Bar M Ranch, our farmstay offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern convenience.
