Surrounded by nature , you’ll love staying at Music Mountain! You can enjoy walks, bike rides, paddle boating in our pond and more. A short drive away from beautiful Park falls and other swimming holes. Our canteen will deliver to your campsite with just a text, our staff is there to accommodate you! Play a game of outdoor laser tag or let the kids play in the playground while you relax. And of course at Music Mountain, we will have live music as often as we can. We have many recreational activities that we provide for our guests! We hope to see you soon!

Located in Thorburn, Nova Scotia, Music Mountain is nestled in nature. You can enjoy walks, bike rides and more, where you’ll often see birds and deer on our property as well as beavers and ducks in the pond. Just a short drive to swimming holes and beautiful Park Falls. 3 Kms to Swallows garage and Crossroads country market where you can get almost anything you might need and enjoy delicious baked goods and home cooked meals. On our property, there are men and woman’s washrooms, a canteen and a large tent to have lunch while still socially distancing. (Note: there are no showers as of yet) There are lots of camping sites to choose from. We offer tent and RV sites and also have some self contained units available to rent as well. You’ll love staying at Music Mountain!

We had a lovely peaceful evening at this site. The host came by to provide a longer extension cable and to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a lovely walk by the small lake and could have sat by the lake as there were chairs provided. There was a fireplace with firewood also provided. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area. He also has small music festivals at the site and I'd love to attend that as well.

The owners are great folks! Wish we’d been there during one of their summer music events. Beautiful property with amenities you’d expect at a rural festival venue. With 2 large dogs and traveling during the off season, it was just what we needed in our Class B RV. Thanks to Janae, Don and Don! Come see us in Abingdon, VA!

We needed a place to crash for the night after a long day of driving. This place gave us exactly what we needed with an extra bonus of water and electric hook ups and even toilets in a container trailer. We were there before the height of summer even began and nothing was set up yet ( understandably ) plus they had gotten hit hard by the major storm that went thru the fall before so they were in the process of getting it all back working. Once they get that all back I would definitely recommend ! The hosts were great and supper accommodating and helpful to weary travelers.

My family and I had a great time at Music Mountain. It's easy to find with good directions, a super friendly and accommodating host, and has great nature walking trails. We had an awesome time exploring the woods and the mountain, and would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed the stay there it was a great view very peaceful and very suprisingly not many flies, you pretty much picked your spot and relax

The camping area is really big with several campsites around, most of them dry camping. Plenty of space between sites and each had a fire ring. We met our host who showed us where to set up. We had full hookups. Electric was 110volt but sufficient for our needs - bring an adapter. Also bring drinking water. The area was very quiet. There is a trail around a lake at the back of the property that was nice. We stayed 2 nights.
