Very large open area as well as wooded area. The developed area with the animals is very well lighted with a pavilion . If you want more privacy you can drive to the far side and literally have the place to yourself. Host is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are basic but functional and clean..

Call Danny&Yolanda w/ your concerns
Danny and Yolanda were absolutely charming and friendly hosts who insisted that I could reach out to them any time, day or night, no matter what the issue was. My one piece of advice is to take them up on that!
For example, the pavilion was awfully muddy so even on a VERY rainy night we didn't pitch our tent under it. "Oh I didn't realize it was muddy! We just needed to put more straw down." Easy solution with a little communication.
Their dog wandered from their home down the street to their farm where we camped and decided to hang out at my tent -- cue alarming animal shadows and a couple of loud barks. "Ugh that crazy dog! I'll just have to lock him in next time we have campers." Again, easy solution with a little communication.
In short, there were a couple of things that were VERY ANNOYING but I feel like could have been completely resolved with a phone call to ask for help.

An Amazing Find!
Our hosts were great! We were welcomed upon arrival and given a verbal tour of the property. There are plenty of places to choose, although as many posts mention, if you stay within a reasonable distance of the bathrooms, you will have to contend with the lights. It wasn’t a problem for us, we were able to sleep well, but it is worth mentioning.
We bought some fruit from the market, set up camp, and stayed 2 nights. It was only a 20 minute drive to Wilmington, a little more to the beaches, but the price was good, the bathrooms were a bonus, and we were able to book last minute, which was great!
Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Very BRIGHT and NOISY experience.
Very mixed feelings about this place.
We are regular campers, but due to overbooking at regular campgrounds we have started using hipcamp more.
This place was a really neat little farm during the daytime. Very charming and the owners were welcoming and friendly. We were so excited to camp here overnight.
The description on hipcamp says there is plenty of free fire wood available, but we drove the whole farm looking for wood with no luck. No gas stations or stores nearby sold any, so we weren’t able to have a campfire, much to my sons disappointment.
So, bring your own wood and kindling.
Then, there are so many massive flood lights on the property( for security), you feel like your camping in a Walmart parking lot. It’s so bright!
We camped as far into trees as possible but the lights illuminated our tent all night long.
And the animals, there are several properties with outside dogs near the farm and you will hear the dogs barking, all night long. It sounds like a dog park.
The farm animals join in throughout the night as well. The donkey randomly yells all through the night and the roosters will wander, and cockadoodle starting at 2am.
We got, zero sleep.
While the farm is wonderful, if you plan on sleeping or having a traditional camping experience - look elsewhere.
The photos, didn’t line up with the farm either. We were excited to see farm animals but only saw a wandering roosters, a lone donkey in a fence and a cat who would not leave us alone the entire time.
Also, even if you book for your correct amount of campers on hipcamp- they actually charge you $25 per person when you arrive.
This place has so much potential and I think if they make some adjustment it could be an amazing campground, close to Wilmington.
I wish the owners the best of luck, this place has so much potential and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into it.

My second stay this year. And will be booking again. I left with some apples from the produce stand - nice snack while on my road trip.

The property was beautiful and the hosts were very kind. The lights they had on all night were a bit bright but not too bad. Lots of animal noises!

Looking forward to next year’s trip
My friend and I loved our stay at The Creek so much, we’ve already started planning for next year! With beaches 30-40 minutes away, it’s the perfect place to have a beach vacation on a budget! Bathrooms, showers, camp fires and the cutest farm animals! What else could you ask for? We are looking forward to camping there again and hitting the waves all day. Everything about it is awesome and we are so thankful the hosts are sharing their land with campers.

This was our first time staying here and it was just a last minute trip internet search that lead us to it. We were greeted by Mrs. Graham at the produce stand and welcomed to the property. We checked out the abundance of fruits, vegetables, canned goods, trinkets, shirts, etc. and bought a few things for our stay. We also visited the fish market side and let me say we were amazed at the selection and freshness of the fish, clams, and crabs available for purchase. The crabs were still alive if that tells you how fresh it was. Mr. and Mrs. Graham were completely welcoming and super friendly!! There was plenty of open field and woods to park in and set up a tent or camper for our stay. They had restrooms with showers and plenty of animals around to see and even free range chickens with eggs if you wanted them. This isn't the 4 seasons, nor is it priced that way, but for a place to camp and relax during your trip to Wilmington I'd highly recommended staying here! We'll definitely be going back and I'll be pre-planning to fix some seafood meals while we're there using their fresh selection!!
Side note, stay on the mowed path and don't be like us getting stuck by accident. Lol.

Danny and Yolanda at Livingston Creek are great hosts and even better people! You truly have 115 acres to choose from when it comes to picking your own camp spot. Bathrooms are great, fresh seafood market is top notch, and the scenery is awesome. We hope to return soon!

Enjoyable stay but no water access
Was adorable, good buys, really nice hosts and spacial camping. But no water access to the creek, not close to a swimming beach, so no swimming hole for me or my dog

Beautiful spot with adorable farm animals to pet and feed. Clean bathroom and showers. The hosts were super. Friendly and accommodating although we booked/arrived later in the evening. It’s also about 45 min from the beach and not too far from Wilmington. Would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Livingston Creek. Danny and Yolanda were very accommodating with the rain storm quickly moving in. I will be making a return visit this camping season. The property is beautiful and serene - even enjoyed hearing the donkeys. I even got to meet their dog Oscar, he's a sweetheart.

Amazing property and experience
The farm was absolutely perfect, as were Danny and Yolanda and everything about the whole experience. We stayed for 3 nights and although we had to work the first couple days, we were still able to explore the property, meet the farm animals (baby piglets!!), find wood on the property for firewood, e.t.c. Every day we bought fresh fish at the fish market and produce to accompany it at the farmers stand - all on the property! Amazing end-of-season tomatoes and veggies, and we had Spanish mackerel, salmon, shrimp and red snapper. We also stocked up on fish and produce when we left! Yolanda and Danny cleaned and filleted the fish so all we had to do was season it and throw it on the fire at our campsite. Such a dream to have everything on site, with local products and supporting local businesses (try the unsweetened blueberry juice!). There were so many areas around the property to camp (as remote or central as you would like) - even though other hipcampers were there we hardly saw them. The bathrooms were clean and there was hot water for the showers. Yolanda and Danny clearly love what they do and enjoy sharing and welcoming others to their special property. We felt very safe there and absolutely recommend it! Hopefully we can visit again on our next trip down south.

Very Nice Campsite!
Wonderful place, and very secluded. It is close enough to the highway that you can hear trucks however. The people were very nice and helped pull our car out of a mud pit we got stuck in. We bought some fish and potatoes from their market and cooked them for dinner. I would definitely recommend this place!

Biking/Beach overnight trip
Danny and Yolanda were very welcoming when we arrived. Picked up some squash, eggplant and red snapper from the farm and fish market then took a tour of Livingston Creek to find a camping spot. It had rained few days before we camped most of the wooded areas were damp but plenty of open areas to choose from. We brought our own wood for the campfire and taking a mountain bike makes it easy to get around the property.
