Our camp is the shared vision of Brian and Lee, along with son Michael and grandson Blake. We fell in love with this beautiful property where we plan to build our eco-friendly, off-grid homestead and farm. Lee's favorite song and the inspiration behind our name is "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary. A land of whimsical imagination, beauty and maybe a dragon or three is our shared vision for the farm. The camping options are flexible, ranging from prepared campsites along both Little and Deep creeks with composting outhouses nearby, to "Camper's Choice" options where you may hike in or drive in and create your own camping experience. There are 144 acres to explore so campers can set up a secluded getaway or cluster together in a group. We are flexible and can work with you to create a camping experience that suits your needs. Learn more about this land: Honah Lee Farms has over 140 acres of woods with open fields distributed throughout. We are bordered to the south by the Flat River, to the west by Deep Creek, and to the north by Little Creek. Most of our campsites are along one of these bodies of water and a 10 foot waterfall rests where Deep Creek runs into the Flat River. The camping options are flexible, ranging from prepared campsites along both Little and Deep creeks with composting outhouses nearby, to "Camper's Choice" options where you may hike in or drive in and create your own camping experience. Please note that since the "Camper's Choice" options allow freedom to select hike-in or drive-in options, the exact distance to nearest outhouse may vary. There are 140+ acres to explore so campers can set up a secluded getaway or cluster together in a group. We are flexible and can work with you to create a camping experience to suit your needs.

Beautiful place with beautiful peop

Upper Deep Creek

Camping at Honah Lee Farms at the upper Deep Creek site was exactly what I needed. Quiet, secluded, peaceful and absolutely beautfiul. Campsite was very well placed, everything was perfect. Within walking distance to the composting toilet and a stones throw from the creek with the open field behind you to stargaze. It was a perfect way to spend a weekend.... no technology, just nature.

Upper Deep Creek

A great place to relax and get away from all the hustle and bustle. The site we were at was well laid out and next to a creek and I can’t wait to see what it looks like in the spring and summer. The host was great and has a well maintained place that I know I’ll be coming back to when I need to get away for a few days.

Lower Deep Creek

My second time camping on Brian’s land and as great as the last time. Brian is a great host and makes sure you feel welcome. The campsites are maintained very well along with the whole property. It’s a great fishing spot and great way to unwind. I will be coming back it’s one of my favorite spots !

Lower Deep Creek

Fun night with the boys

A little slice of heaven. It was also the first camping trip for my boys and it did not disappoint. Brian and Lee were so welcoming and great hosts. We stayed at lower deep creek and enjoyed the fishing in front of the falls. We took a few walks at night and rounded out the evening around the fire. Camping area and outhouse were also super clean. We will be back and next time for more days so we can fish. Thank you! -Jeffas Family

We had an mazing time camping here. The people that work there are so nice and the spot we got was very private with lots of space witch is perfect with people that have dogs and want to let them run free. We will most definitely be camping here again.

Upper Deep Creek

This was by far our favorite hipcamp site we've used so far. Brian was a very helpful host and the site was perfect. We spent our days hiking, fishing, relaxing and every second the kids got they were playing in the creek. I loved how remote our site was. Thanks for a great trip!!!

Lower Deep Creek

Great Getaway Close to Home!

I highly recommend this great getaway! The campsites are well kept and spaced far enough apart for privacy. The outhouses are clean. There are many trails and places to explore on the property. It’s near enough to town in case you’ve forgotten anything, but far enough out to enjoy nature in peace. Brian and Lee are great hosts! They were very accommodating and helpful to me during my stay. Already planning my next trip!

Lower Deep Creek

Off leash, and great birding spot!

We had a great time camping at Honah Lee Farm. The location is close to amenities, but once you get down the trail on the property, it felt very remote. The location of our site was picturesque, next to a creek with clear water. My dog LOVED that she was able to be off leash to run through the brush, and up and down the trails, and I loved that my dog could be off leash without worry that she’d run onto a highway. There was a lot of wildlife, too. We saw a pretty buck on our way in, and one wandered into our camp in the middle of the night! If you like birding, bring your binoculars! There were many birds coming and going, and we had a hawk visit out camp multiple times in the day. Overall wonderful experience and I hope we’ll have the chance to return.

Fall camping

We camped during fall and the colors were amazing! We really enjoyed our quiet area of the tent part. It was set up with our requested firewood bundle and very clean. We enjoyed the small creek that went past and our pups would agree! It was nice to get away and relax in nature.

Upper Deep Creek

I so enjoyed the peacefulness of Honah Lee Farms. I stayed at the Upper Deep Creek site and found it to be perfect. Brain and Lee were welcoming and nice. I enjoyed chatting with them before being taken to the site. The creek was 20 ft away and open fields behind. I will definitely go back again. My dog wore herself out playing and exploring with me.

We loved our trip to Honah Lee farms. The Upper Deep Creek site is a perfect place to relax in nature. Our kids loved being able to explore the creek and run around in the field. Brian and Lee are very nice people and superb hosts. I highly recommend you check this out if you are looking for a nice relaxing camping trip.

Quiet and secluded!

The drive and the property are stunning! Brian was super friendly and helpful, showing us the spot where we could access the waterfall, and then our site . Little creek is quiet and private. We caught a few small large mouths near the waterfall. We definitely plan on going back!

My second visit

My second visit was just as amazing as the first. I stayed in a different space than before and enjoy exploring every part of the property. Brian and Lee are such gracious hosts and have such beautiful land they truly love sharing. I look forward to returning. Oh, and DONKEYS!

Upper Deep Creek

Peaceful, secluded, and awesome!

We (2 mom friends with 2 daughters) had a great time camping on Brian and Lee's land! Our trip started off great with a warm greeting by Lee who was so friendly and knowledgeable! She gave the girls bubbles and introduced them to the adorable and friendly mini donkeys and toured us around the base camp. Our campsite (Upper Deep Creek) was a short drive away and beautiful - it is on the creek with plenty of shade, and abuts a huge field with a mowed path for driving. The outhouse was great (even for someone who is usually very picky about camping bathrooms) and had no odors. The kids loved being able to explore the creek and walk up to the waterfall area (about a 20 min stroll) on their own. The site is completely private and feels like your own piece of wilderness. We heard some wildlife sounds at night which added to the adventure :). Neither mom got cell coverage (Verizon or T-Mobile) but we didn't mind being 'off grid'. Our whole group loved our trip and we can't wait to go back another time!

Camper's Choice #1

We had a very nice camping spot on a stream with a small waterfall. We decided to choose a site off the beaten path because we were just looking for a quiet getaway. We had to hike our things in about 1/10 of a mile or 3-5 min. walk. We enjoyed just sitting and listening to the water! Our Host, Brian, was very friendly and met us to show us the campsite. Everything was clean and orderly. Our only complaint was that we did end up with quite a few bug bites despite taking the usual precautions with appropriate clothing and bug spray. This is no fault of the owners, just beware and plan accordingly!

Upper Deep Creek

Perfect Car Camping

Brian and Lee’s property is amazing. There are five camp sites on the property but they are in completely different areas so you are truly secluded. We stayed at a campground on Big Creek. The campground is situated between the creek and a huge field with two great places to pitch tents, a picnic table, meal prep area (very clutch), and fire pit. Sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. There is great fishing a 10 minute walk away. Couldn’t have been a better car camping situation for my son and I. Ordered wood as well and it was perfect amount of wood and kindling for two nights. Wood was super seasoned and easy to light. Eggs from the chickens are large and delicious.

Upper Deep Creek

Beautiful setting - two thumbs up!

A most excellent camping experience! Gracious hosts, beautiful surroundings, and well-constructed, well-kept, very private campsites. Lots of nice flora and numerous fauna to enjoy - birds, deer, rabbits, many wild turkeys, and one shy little groundhog near my campsite (Upper Deep Creek field) who popped out a couple of times to say hi. A great setting for hiking, fishing, and skywatching. Completely peaceful save a lengthy early-morning target shooting session on a nearby property, which didn't really bother me but might worry some. 4WD a plus (maybe a must?) to manage the steep-hilly gravel drive if you're towing a travel trailer.

Great getaway

I had an amazing time camping at Honah Lee Farms! The hospitality and the grounds were top notch. It was a great getaway they have an amazing property if you enjoy the outdoors and fishing highly recommend. It was very private the campsites are nicely spread apart and well taken care of. I will definitely come back to catch more bass that's for sure!
