Pretty spot
Pretty spot. Little contact with humans, but the chickens and horses were close by, and deer came and went at dusk and dawn. No shade and no frills, but we had what we needed for our brief stay. It worked out well.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! It’s a beautiful, serene setting with majestic mountains, friendly horses, and clucking chickens to observe. It does get windy as there is a lack of trees in the area but we had no issues with it. Highly recommended!

Scenic, Peaceful, Ranch Camping
We were passing through the area and reserved Aneta's place at the last minute. We were unsure of where to turn off the highway, but she answered our call quickly and told us how to go. (The "driveway" to the left which says "private," "residents only" or something like that IS the road to take. It looks like it just goes to one farm, but there are multiple residences down that way.) As we drove past alfalfa fields on both sides of the road, we saw probably the most deer we've ever seen in one place! We pitched our tent next to the picnic table at the "red barn corner," and the ground was really soft and easy to drive the tent stakes in. Of course, it would start raining just as soon as our tent was up. The rain clouds made for a dramatic background for an already scenic view at the farm. We also had a nice view of some grazing horses, which was comforting as we used to work on a horse farm. Aneta came by to check on us and offered us the use of the bathroom and trash can in a different barn a bit further away. Although we travel with our "bathroom" tent, it was much appreciated. We walked there by flashlight, others might choose to drive. It was a quiet and restful night's sleep, and we left around dawn, about the time their farm and others started coming to life. We enjoyed our short stay there and would love to return next time we're in Montana.

This site was exactly what we were looking for - a safe, quiet, level spot to camp in our teardrop trailer that also had restroom access. The directions were clear, and Google maps took us right to the entry of the ranch. We were a bit unsure where to go at first once on the property, as we arrived after sunset and it was quite dark given all the cloud cover. However we had been texting our host to let them know our approximate arrival, and Ricky came down to meet us very quickly to help get us oriented. All good!!

Home on the range near Livingston
This was our first Hipcamp experience and it did not disappoint. Aneta greeted us when we arrived and even gave us a dozen eggs from her chickens. Our campsite was in an open area near her barn with views across the valley. We saw a number of deer in the area. A plus was the proximity to Livingston without sacrificing peace and quiet.

We loved staying at Aneta's farm, the spots to park in gave you plenty of options on which direction to face and the views were stunning. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, horses, hares, deer, chickens, Dolly the Corgi. Communication was a breeze and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again if we are back in the area.

Wineglass Ranch was great. With the chance of rain in the forecast, the hosts let us set up our tent in their indoor horse arena. Our kids liked the small playground and petting the chickens. We’d definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Made New Friends…Animals Included
There is charm at Wineglass Ranch from its name to the the views, from their hospitality to the friendliness of other campers. We saw wildlife, watched barrel racers with their horses & held their chickens. Ricky welcomed us, made sure we were set up & checked in on us. He gave suggestions of things to see & do (rodeo, Chico Hot Springs, Paradise Valley, etc). He invited us to hang on his deck with family friends for the 4th of July. Unfortunately, we didn’t meet Aneta this time. Even without the social interaction it was a peaceful, clean, and well maintained place that I highly recommend. Thanks Aneta & Ricky!

We loved spending time with their sweet and friendly horses. We slept so well and stayed toasty warm in our van parked inside the barn. The host offered us to park there knowing it would be a very windy night. It was spectacular waking with the shining sun inside the van and seeing the snow-capped mountains around. Having a bathroom with a toilet in the barn was also a bonus. Will definitely come back again.

Gusty love
Beautiful property! We were greeted by a very sweet cat and got to pet some beautiful horses. We booked last minute and arrived late and the host was very communicative about how to get to the ranch. Heads up for people with tents - it got VERY windy in the morning and our large dome tent couldn’t quite handle it. Be prepared to tie down your tent (the ground was very hard and difficult to stake). Aside from the wind, we had a lovely time here!

Just fine but nothing over the top.
We were the only rig on the grass so it was great that we had the whole area to ourselves. We usually sleep with the netting coverings on our windows open all night. I slept fine , but my wife did notice and comment on all of the train traffic during the night. The price was not out of line at all at 20.00. Our host was very fast and gave us very complete directions to her ranch.

Lovely stopover
Great spot to stop on your way in to the National Parks. Aneta was a responsive host and greeted us on arrival, and we had the space to ourselves with a great view of the mountains. A note to tent campers- it gets very windy on the flats, so be ready to tie things down!

We planned to stay one night at Wineglass Ranch but ended up staying for 2 nights. From the ranch, a day trip into Yellowstone National park is very do-able and it is definitely one of the most affordable places to stay in the area. Our host, Aneta, was extremely helpful and friendly and easy to reach when we got a little lost trying to find her place late at night. 10/10!
