The site was nice and quiet. We were in tents so we camped on the grassy parts. Gravel area would be nice for travel trailers. Fire wood for sale on site. Outdoor Shower was warm and nice after sitting in the sun/hot weather all day. Bring your own tp for outhouse. Owner has Cameras on site to watching entrance. Would definitely return.

Trail 76 Private Campground
This is our second year spending time at Trail 76. We love the privacy and the location to golf, fishing and swimming. Full hookup sites provide a worry free stay in my camper. The large trailer onsite allowed us to play cards during a rain storm. The fire pit was great for cooking dinner and making s'mores. Thank you Clay for another great stay.

We had an incredible stay at this cozy, private spot in the woods. We were a little worried about the dirt roads getting there, but we had no problems with the road in our converted ambulance, even in the rain. The land exceeded our expectations. It would be perfect for a group, but was serene and relaxing for just the two of us. The host has gone above and beyond to make the spot fun and accommodating for whatever vibe the campers want. The sitting area with a firepit, swing, and tiki torches was great. After a few days camping in the UP, the hot outdoor shower was awesome and getting to plug in so we could run our AC with no worries was such a relief. It was a bit buggy, but no more than you'd expect from such a lovely wooded area. This was one of the most private places we've ever found! We were sad that the subsequent days were booked as we wanted to stay here as long as possible. We will definitely return as soon as we can!

I don't think we could hoped for anything more from the property as advertised. The shower ran hot, the power was easy to access, it was even easy to get more firewood delivered.

Quiet week in the woods!

Had a great time here! We rented the RV on site, it was lovely and easy to set up in, and although we didn't use it having the TV with movies was a cute touch. The outdoor shower was great, and the Outhouse was well maintained. Close enough to town to get anything we needed, and nestled in the woods enough for us to find some peace. Wonderful time!

We love staying at Trail 76! Clay is a great host, very helpful and prompt in communications. His spot is really amazing - private, quiet but has all the amenities of a regular campground and it’s also close to trails and town. This was our second stay and we’ll be back for sure.
Local spots:
Breakfast at Moose and Stella’s is awesome.
Dinner at Trout Town Tavern is delicious.
Cherry Street Market is amazing for produce, baked goods, jam, plants and yard decorations.
Manistee Lake Bakery is perfect for ice cream and pizza.

I love that it had a little bit of everything. A camper on site. Cool hang out spot in the container. The space for tents. Rv hook ups. Rustic bathroom. Even a hot water shower. Well definitely be coming back here for future trips.

We had a great time at Trail 76. Having the place to ourselves was amazing. The outside shower was fabulous and having full hook up was so easy for our weeks stay. Already thinking about next year and what new lakes we are going to fish and new places to golf.

This was an amazing campsite. We had a family group camp together for a long weekend. The site was very spacious even with two campers and tents. Plenty of area to play games and let kids run around. The outdoor shower was a favorite for everyone. The onsite camper was adorable and perfect for someone that didn’t want to truly “rough it”. We all agreed it was a great find and we plan to visit again in the future.

Beautiful property we had a fantastic 4th of July weekend. It was easy to find and not too far away frome the lake. Owners was super helpful and was able to accommodate our group. Would definitely recommend.
Peaceful, private, and perfectly cozy!
This campsite was everything we hoped for, wonderfully private and very quiet. All the little extras really made it special, and Clay was incredibly responsive and helpful the whole time. We ordered a firewood drop-off, and it lasted our entire stay, super convenient! One of our friends arrived after dark and ended up renting the on-site camper instead of setting up his tent. He loved it so much, he stuck with it the rest of the trip! The string lights added such a nice touch and made the space feel warm and inviting. We couldn’t recommend this Hipcamp more and will absolutely be staying again.

Cute private area! My family and I had a blast there...Its really hard to find a spot to camp with my 53ft toy hauler/race trailer and I had plenty of room here. We were able to enjoy beautiful quiet camping and ride ATVs etc on the off road trailers just down the street. Our dogs were able to run off leash and quickly adapted to the boundary lines etc. The owner had the place set up really nice, with tiki torches all out for us, firewood etc. We will def be here again and hopefully make this an annual family camping trip! Plenty of room for vehicles, 53ft race trailer, plus a 32ft camper, and 2 large tents, it was rustic but with full hookups/amenities. The outdoor shower was an added plus. I cant wait for our next trip here!

This place was amazing, and we definitely will be back. I love the space and privacy. We have a husky that we usually can't take it with us camping because she gets too anxious around too many people, and we were able to bring her and both dogs were able to room freely with our invisible fence. It's also close to ORV trails. The only problem that we have was that we didn't know that the trails right outside the camp were on private land and not a part of the trails. But we met a very nice police officer who gave us directions to the actual trails, which were just a little further out.

9 of us stayed on Clays land and it did not disappoint! We pitched 4 tents and it was so comfortable and relaxing. The outside shower was very nice, and we were able to store our food and ice boxes inside the shipping container at night! Clay even had a black stone in the container and we asked to use it and were able to! It was one of the best sites we’ve stayed at, I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We will definitely be back!!

We loved camping on Clay’s sight. It was quiet, secluded, clean, and accommodating. Near trails for convenience. Storage container with lights and electric worked out great when it rained. Friendly owner. Would recommend and will go back.

Excellent spot for trail riding or just just kick back and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet while taking in all the beautiful wilderness. Close to all the lakes in the area as well. All this and only be 15 minutes away from 3 different towns. Definetly be back again before the season ends.
After spending all summer at a crowded campground we came here for some peace and quiet! Plenty of room to turn our rig around and back in. Bow season just started today and there's a whole 1/2 mile drive to state land. Plenty of space to set up our big tent, shoot our bows, and have a fire in the evening. Should be a great time!
