The 40-acre property is picturesque with pastures, open fields and pockets of trees. The entire property is encircled by mature pines and hardwoods. Take a stroll through the woods or wander amongst the century old apple trees. Enjoy the stunning views of Turtle Lake Ridge or visit one of the many local attractions that are nearby: Crystal Mountain Resort (9 mi), St. Ambrose Cellars (5 mi), Sleeping Bear Dunes (26 mi), Honor-canoeing (8 mi), Beulah-shopping (10 mi), Frankfort-Lake Michigan (17 mi), Iron Fish Distillery (12 mi), Turtle Lake Campground (3 mi), Blue Bridge Events Centre (13 mi), Traverse City (25 mi). The land is flat and sandy with grassy fields and clusters of trees and forrest areas. For RV camping, there is one location with water and electrical (30 amp). For rustic camping, there are 2 tree-lined acloves to choose from with fire rings and water access a short distance from the sites. Come and ride! The property backs up on 2 sides to State land and the year-round groomed trails are a couple hundred feet from the property line. Whether it is horsepower or horseback, the trails are just steps away. There is plenty of room for parking your trailer and even your horse! Please contact me in advance for day pass or short-term board of your horse. Separate fee from listing. Whatever your plans, we know you will enjoy the serenity of The Still Point! *This is a working horse farm with a barn, horses and paddocks which we kindly ask are off-limits (unless pre-arrangements have been made). Our horses are beautiful to look at, however, some are rescues and we ask that you respect their space and not feed them (allergies/special diets). Also, they sometimes mistake fingers for carrots! Please do not enter or reach into any enclosures. Electric fences in use! Staff and owners will be on-site daily to care for the animals.

Fully groomed hiking/horseback/ORV trails at the East side of property just a short walk from the site. Drive-in access. Fire ring provided. Water access via spigot with hose near barn. The house is approximately 100 yds away and may or may not be occupied with guests. There is not a neighbor in site. There is plenty of land to explore and fun things to do for every season! There are miles of year-round groomed ORV trails (Betsie River Trail) adjacent to property perfect for hiking, horseback or ORV use. Take in the spectacular view of Turtle Lake Ridge or wander amongst the hundred year old apple trees. Close to all that Northern Michigan has to offer yet located in a private serene setting. This has become my family’s new favorite place to visit of all time. The host is incredible! Not just makes it cozy, but absolutely makes you feel at home. The farm is meticulously maintained, couldnt even find cobwebs in the barn. Horses are super sweet and come ip for lovins. Property is also kept very nicely. No mosquitos at all at the campsite. Host even had a fire set up perfectly in the fire pit when we arrived. Which was incredible because we arrived at midnight and it was cold. Cant thank the host enough, truly made our big trip up north one for the books! We rode our fourwheelers everywhere, made a bunch of campfires with the endless free dead wood throughout the woods. Laid out watching the sky change color a bit and staring at the stars every night in our hammocks. Took my truck through all the trails nearby and almost sunk it in a mudpit that was maybe a half mile off the property line. Best part truly was the host making it so welcoming. After staying at her farm for a couple days we opted in for 2 more nights with zero regrets. After being here for the better of a week we now know we want to move to this area and build a similar homestead. Very much so recommend this spot! We will be back as much as we can afford to be!

The camping site was wonderful, and the host was great! We loved the horses around, and little barn kittens to play with. The location was perfect. We brought our boats and were able to cruise around Chrystal Lake, and Lake Michigan. The weather was absolutely beautiful!

Stayed in small travel trailer at RV1 site. Easy to park on level ground. Good water and 30amp. Very pleasant surroundings and lots of beautiful horses. We’ll be back!

This was my second stay at the Still Point Farm, and once again I thoroughly enjoyed it! The hosts are extremely kind and responsive, and the surrounding farm property is beautiful and filled with wildlife. The two rustic campsites are in level sandy clearings surrounded by timber, with easy drive-in access for non-4WD vehicles. They are each furnished with a fire ring, and the port-a-jon is very clean and well stocked. The campsites are a few hundred feet from the road so they aren’t super secluded, but they are far enough away to maintain privacy and solitude. The location is a 15 minute drive from Interlochen State Park and 30 minutes from Traverse city, which is very convenient for visitors to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Highly recommended!!

Monique greeted me when I arrived and was very friendly. The location is great for enjoying so much of what this area has to offer. The fall colors were amazing on the property. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time I camped here, love it even more with the addition of a porta potty nicely secluded between Rustic 1 and 2. This time Monique included information about the nearby equestrian, hiking and bicycle trails but I didn’t have time to explore them. I can’t wait to come back!

It's exactly as advertised: a rustic site on the edge of a horse farm. The hosts are lovely. But the horses are rescue, so don't expect to ride or interact with them and there are no other typical farm animals. They let us charge devices in the barn and there is wifi near the house. Composting toilet is clean and was bug-free, which was much appreciated. But it's definitely more of just a rustic campsite than a farm stay. About 15 minutes into the nearest town (Interlochen) and about 30 into Traverse City or Frankfort.

Nice rustic sites. Monique was a great host. Very quickly resolved one minor issue we had with the site. We did drive past the driveway the 1st time we came. Cell service cut out about a mile before the driveway.

This is a great HipCamp! True farm experience camping right near the barn and horses. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed watching them throughout the day. Monique is an excellent host — so friendly and very available for needs or questions! So nice to have electric and water hookup right close by. The porta potty is a bit of a walk but we used our bikes! The land is dusty/sandy so be prepared for that! Other guests were in the house and rustic site and this worked out just fine. Easy drive to Traverse, Leland, Sleeping Bear. Thanks Monique for a fun experience for our fam!

IDEAL for horses

A truly lovely property in a wonderful location. Trial riding is awesome. We rode for four days, and only accessed a small fraction of what was available to ride. Great footing, from single-tracks through the woods to seasonal dirt roads. We stayed on the RV site, which was huge, pretty, and comfortable, and included a picnic table and fire ring. Our horses shared a private paddock with a very nice run-in. Monique was gracious and responsive. We would definitely recommend her place.

Lovely piece of land. Ended up renting both tent sites she had listed. Trails to walk and bike on property, along with access to many ORV trails right around the corner. Would definitely stay again! Monique was super response and friendly.

Site 2 was very secluded and beautiful with an enormous maple tree along one side. It's a very large site and all of it was level and sandy. It was very quiet, only an occasional car going by on the road but the campsite was far from it. Definitely going back!

What a perfect place to stay! Felt secluded and safe, land is absolutely gorgeous and in an incredible location. Easy driving to nearby towns, easy to find the campsite -- exactly what I was looking for. Host provided sand to put out campfire and camp site didn't have any litter or signs of past visitors. You can hear cars on the road but it was no bother. Will absolutely be back! Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely time at Monique’s! She made us feel right at home and we had easy access to both water and electricity! There’s a nearby campground for sewage waste. We loved watching her horses and had a great, quiet experience despite having renters at the home on the property(as mentioned in the listing). 30-45 minutes away from all things like the Leelanau peninsula, Suttons Bay, and TC. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved every aspect of our trip up to this area. The location is absolutely ideal; it's close to every cool destination up there. A serene setting with horses in the pasture and lots of quiet space. This is so much better than a campground! Close to all the places we wanted to go to in Traverse city, Leelanau, Platte river and Sleeping bear sand dunes. Hosts were kind and promptly fixed one minor issue. Highly recommend!
