Squid Camp
Love camping here, the owners and assistants were so kind and went out of their way to provide information and supplies for our site. The pine trees were beautiful and secluded, would definitely recommend and we’re looking forward to returning.

Great spot! Were used to bush camping in national parks, but when you are going into public during the day, a hot shower is a must. This place does that well. Bring bug spray as I imagine you would anywhere in Michigan this time of year. Otherwise, you’re all set!

We loved Camp Squid! It is a beautiful, wooded site with fire rings, water at the main area and a toilet near our camp. Kendra was friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Squid Camp
Camp Squid was such a peaceful and cozy escape. We felt tucked away in the pines, and it was the perfect place to slow down and breathe for a bit. We set up our hammocks and fell asleep surrounded by trees and soft sunlight peeking through, it was such a calm and comforting atmosphere. The outdoor shower ended up being one of our favorite parts. It was our first time trying one, and it made the trip feel even more special. We also really appreciated not having to worry about firewood when we arrived. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into making the experience easy and enjoyable. She was so kind and checked in to make sure we were doing okay, which meant a lot. We’re already looking forward to coming back and sharing this little hidden gem with our friends.

Beautiful property, lots of trees. Kendra was friendly and helpful. We filled up our water and stayed on a site near the toilet. Had nice neighbors. Fire rings were available to make a fire. Lovely place, would come back again!

Absolutely satisfying experience!! Kendra the most gracious and diligent host greeted me and my family with absolutely dignity love and care. She made sure we were very comfortable was very knowledgeable of the area and activities of Benzonia MI. Crystal lake was gorgeous!! I highly recommend a stay of the grid here with Kendra and her Dad Captain Squid 🦑
