Learn more about this land: We are located on a beautiful farm with lots of animals to see! Our property is in Black Creek, BC.  We have one private site available for tent and RV/trailer campers. The site is level and grassy and it can accommodate vehicles up to 30ft in length.  We provide a picnic table, wifi, and potable water. Campfires are permitted when there is no fire ban. Black Creek is a small town located on the eastern shore of North Central Vancouver Island, home to stunning beaches and outdoor recreation. At nearby Saratoga Beach, the tide goes out for over a quarter of a mile, creating a hard-packed oceanfront playground perfect for children to safely explore.  Miracle Provincial Park is close by with a picnic area overlooking the water and a series of lovely trails winding through lush forest. You can visit the Oyster River Hatchery, check out the seals and sea lions in Seal Bay Regional Park, do some saltwater fishing for salmon, or even rent a go-cart and race around the Saratoga Speedway, or just watch others do it.We are located on a beautiful farm with lots of animals to see! The hosts were absolutely fantastic, friendly helpful and very welcoming. The location is beautiful, very close to wonderful beaches. The salt water pool, lama's and other animals were all nice extras.

What a great little spot. It was funny checking out the animals and throwing a few axes and ninja stars. Property is convenient quick bike ride to Miracle beach and a few other beaches ,winery and distillery nearby. Sarah was great. She greeted us and showed us around the property.

This place is magical. First visited in August 2024 and came back July 2025. If you like gardens, animals and chill country vibes this place is the spot. They have a salt water pool on the property with lots of floaties, awesome for kids. Last year they sent me home with like 10 lbs of produce from their gardens. This year they gave us a container of fresh picked blueberries.

Great tenting site. Sarah was accommodating and offered amenities such as flush bathrooms, potable water, a hall and a pool to spend time in. Our group enjoyed visiting all of the animals on the farm and seeing the neighborhood deer come by. The proximity to Miracle Beach and our daily plans was great.

Mike was an awesome host. Would love to stay in their place again. Very hospitable and inviting. Let us pick eggs from the farm and strawberries . Did not charge us extra for firewood. 100/100

Very welcoming, hospitable, family of hosts and lots of cute animals to visit. We especially loved Bean the llama. The spot is quite nice, private and grassy with a fire pit and picnic table.

An actual farm with lots of animals that is run by a beautiful family. Came for camping, they let us stayed in their cabin because of the rain. It’s a recently renovated RV + cabin combo. Really nice to dine in the RV, listening to the radio, and planning our next visit here.

We LOVED it here. Mike is the kindest and most gracious host. There are animals everywhere...peacocks, bunnies, ducks, pigs, chickens, geese, Llamas, goats. They have a small orchard, veggie and berry gardens. The campsite is private and quiet...except for the rooster. There is a flushing toilet and a portajohn to use. We would return here in a heartbeat.

This was an interesting and fun stay! There are a few houses on/around the property but the site feels quite private and safe. The hosts were so kind, showed me around the entire property and answered all of my random questions! They are very open and let you use basically anything on the property (like swing chairs, lounge chairs, garbage, water etc). The animals were so cute too!!! I would definitely stay here again. As others mentioned, it is right by the road but the noise is light as there aren’t too many cars going that way.

We loved camping there, everything was great! Especially seeing the healthy and very happy animals :) We haven't decided which one is the best, peacocks, lama "Bean", rabbit, goats, sheep, chicken and chicks, geese "the ground security force :))" ... Kids loved the party hall and WiFi. The washroom was super clean. Our hosts especially Rebecca were kind and generous (offered free vegetables) We returned home with wonderful memories and peacock feathers :) Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing spot, owners were very friendly and very considerate of our change of plans! My daughter and I both loved the animals and the use of a proper bathroom!!! Great location too and I would definitely come again and recommend to friends!!!

While it may feel a bit crowded at the farm as there are multiple houses on the land, it’s such a gem. It’s quiet, flat spot and all the fun animals to love on. My 5 year old got to see peacocks, chickens, ducks, Guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, llamas, goose, turkeys, goats, hedgehog, and even a tortoise. The stay was just what we needed for our family to enjoy a little different camping style. You won’t regret your time at this lovely farm.

Camping on Sarah’s farm was amazing! Directions were great and it was very easy to find. It had the perfect little tent spot that provided both sun and shade and as well felt like our own private little area.. We loved the experience of the farm life :) We will definitely be back for more fun!

We loved staying on the farm with our two small dogs! Super friendly hosts and lots of great local spots to explore. There is a hall with a projector and speakers etc that meant we could watch movies in our own private cinema. There is also a pool and wifi throughout! The llamas and baby goats (kids) were so awesome 🫶 10/10 would come back especially with how welcome we were made to feel. I want to live here haha.

Fabulous Weekend Camping Trip!

We loved our weekend camping on this beautiful farm! The campsite was very large, well maintained and grassy. There were plenty of spots to find both shade and sun throughout the day and the trees and brush on either side of the camping area provided plenty of privacy. Sarah and family were so kind, made us feel incredibly welcome and encouraged us to explore everything. The animals were the definite highlight of the weekend. Our family’s favourites were our interactions with Bean the llama with her unique personality and her lashes for days, cuddling with the heartstoppingly adorable baby goats, and Gus the Goose who will give you a loud warning if he thinks you’re getting too close to his lady geese 🪿 ❤️🪿. But don’t worry, he’s harmless and will immediately back down if you point at him 👉🪿. Some bonus extras once we settled in were: 1) the use of their rec building which was nice and cool, our sons especially loved the PacMan arcade games, ride-on roller cars and indoor basketball; and 2) being invited to swim in their large salt water above ground pool, complete with lounge deck and solar shower to rinse off. It is true that there is a bit of noise from the highway, but it’s not too much at all and very tolerable. The Saratoga Speedway is very nearby which, if they are hosting a big event, can get loud - but we only had to tolerate that one day and when there were no events at the speedway, the area is super quiet and peaceful. We 100% recommend!
