Welcome to JX Surf Shop and Campground! We are located just 10 minutes outside of beautiful Ucluelet and only 5 minutes away from the Pacific Rim National Park. We have 30amp-powered sites with water hookups as well as tenting sites. We also offer overnight parking for those sleeping in their cars. We share property with other great businesses! -JX Surf Shop has rentals and can also book surf lessons for you! -TickinT-Bird rents E-bikes so you can bike to all the beaches in the Pacific Rim National Park. 9am-4pm -Puna Food Truck offers apres-surf pocket food & coffee. South American style empanadas in sweet and savoury options. Rolled and baked in the house with organic flours. 8am-5pm - Tommy's Pizza offers unforgettable Neapolitan-style pizzas. Skip the dishes while camping and be delighted! 3pm-9pm Wednesday to Monday - SunRay Food rtuck has smoothies, baked goodies and variety food like Tacos, Falafel, Quinoa bowls, Sandwiches, Wraps, Hot Dogs and much more for everyone. 9am-3pm Thursday to Monday - Kikan Food Truck is a modern eatery serving Asian soul food from 12pm-4pm Wednesday to Sunday Camp Surf Dine and Ride at JX Campground **Please note that JX Campground is for short term camping only. Vehicles, tents, trailers must leave the property after a maximum stay of one week. Thank you for your understanding.

Small RV site is suitable for 20'-25' RVs or camper vans. The site comes with 30amp + water hookups on site. Located along the back side of the property, backing onto woodland. PLEASE NOTE, we can only accommodate vehicles up to 25ft in length, anything larger will not fit.  This site is also a nice upgrade from the tenting area if tenting campers are looking for more privacy. Site 4 is also suitable for those tenting and needing to have their cars onsite.

Unpleasant Overnight Stay Due to Re

We stayed at this campsite overnight, and while the location itself was convenient, our experience was unfortunately not great. The restrooms were in very poor condition and quite unpleasant to use, which was disappointing after a long day of travel. On top of that, when we arrived, our assigned parking spot was taken by another vehicle, and there was no staff available to help resolve the issue. It would make a big difference if the management could maintain the washrooms better and ensure staff availability, especially in the evenings, to assist guests with such situations.

Great tent spot, close to the road so the traffic in the evening is noisy, but it quieted down eventually! Porta-potty toilets, running water for fill ups, and close to Tofino and Ucluelet!

The campsite is nice, it’s small and right between ucluelet and Tofino. Each rv site is walled by trees so you get a bit of privacy. The RV site has a socket (large appliance socket, for for RV, but you need an adapter to plug a household appliance into it). It also has a water hookup, but it’s low to the ground so you can’t just use it as a spigot: you need a short hose. The ground is hard rocks of course, so if you put a tent there, bring padding or a mat. It has a picnic table on site, which is nice. The bathrooms are portable potties, inside a little wooden shelter. No water in them. Across the street is the visitor center, and it has a men’s, a women’s, and a special needs washroom open 24 hours. There’s leopard slugs all over the place, so be careful where you step. You do hear highway noises, but only during the day: at night the traffic dies, so it’s quiet.

Well loved our stay. Simple and everything you need to spend the night. Food trucks, surf shop with rentals, bathrooms, and water. simple and to the point. Days are full of action so it’s nice to find such a simple place for our home base.

Good location near the visitor center and between Tofino and Ucluelet. Nice bike trail across the road and able to ride both directions to access the towns. Great empanadas at the food truck!
