Little river rd Hip Camp is walking distance to Little River Bay... where there are opportunities for beach hikes, kayaking, swimming, windsurfing and kiteboarding. Stroll to Kin Beach Provincial Park or the Griffin Pub. Bike to 40 Knot Winery or Little River Ferry terminal. we can accommodate a self contained RV or Van up to 30 ft. A quiet lush site nestled amongst the trees on the lower part of our 3/4 acre lot. Please note that you must have waste disposal as there are no Rest Rooms at this site.Let our Comox Valley Island basecamp be yours to explore! Walk to the beach, go for a bike ride, walk to the Pub, bike to the 40 Knot winery, pick blueberries, shop at local roadside farmer's markets. The RV pad is nestled in the pine trees with the scent of the sea and occational bark from seals on neighboring shores! We can accommodate a vehicle under 32ft approx in length. 30 Amp electrical and water hookup are available. The site is both loose and firm gravel.  The Town of Comox is a charming and quaint seaside community nestled up against the southern shore of the Comox Peninsula. Experience the coastal temperate rainforest on a mountain bike, hike through alpine vistas in Strathcona park, or dip your paddle in a glacier-fed lake. The Comox Valley’s alpine to-ocean geography affords guests the opportunity to experience the best of the west coast. We look forward to hosting you!

Quiet corner, safe, and beautiful night sky. I stayed here so I could have a short trip to the airport for my early morning flight. I would stay again.

Quiet somewhat small size. Water and electricity available. Gate a little tricky. Good place for 1 night when you’re on the road.

Great stay at Little River, lovely private spot. Beautiful plants and greenery surrounding us as we enjoyed our morning coffee. Close to Kin Beach for swimming. Bettina very responsive in her communication & gave clear directions.

Nice little spot. Perfect for our 20’ camper van. Close to the road so you can hear the traffic but it was quiet during the night.

What a wonderful spot. Very private and quiet, even with the airport nearby. A 10 minute walk took us and the pups to the beach. Explored the nearby nature walk and had a great dinner at the nearby pub (with the dogs, on the patio) Finished the trip with a stroll thru Bettina's lovely garden. We certainly hope to return again.

What a lovely spot. The directions here were spot on. It was quiet and comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach. I would stay here again.

What an absolutely amazing experience we had here! Bettina was an amazing host the entire week, and we ended up leaving as friends. :) The site could not be any more perfect; it’s level, in a quiet and tranquil area, and very safe. Lots of room to set up and move around while being tucked away. It’s so perfect! A walk down the road takes you to a beautiful beach that we had to ourselves almost every day, it’s very quiet. We watched the ferry come and go, and played in the ocean. We even spotted orca nearby at Air Force Beach. It’s easy to find and overall probably one of the best places we have ever camped. Bettina, thank you so much for an amazing stay! We will be back! Campers, if you’re looking for a place to stay in the Comox area, this is it!!!

Lovely spot close to the ferry. Easy and secure park up for 20.5 ft Van. Power and water available. Friendly host!

We loved staying at this location in our camper truck! It was safe, peaceful, and beautiful! The hosts were so welcoming and kind and made us feel so secure in our camping spot! It was also so close to the beach and surrounding city, making it easy to explore. We loved our stay here and hope to come back one day!
